Can I get a driver for my BT v4 adapter to the Android 8.0 and above? - General Questions and Answers

Hi All,
Here's my issue:
I have an Red-mi Note 5 Pro and Android 8.0. I bought a Mode-Com Bluetooth speaker and Bluetooth V4. I also bought an Ultron UBA-140 nano USB Adaptor to use with my Android but it doesn't recognise it. I can pair the devices but can not use the speaker so the device and the Android supports Bluetooth adaptor.
My questions are:
Can I get a driver for my BT v4 adaptor to the Android 8.0 and above?
Or should I buy a different adaptor which is compatible with the Android ?
How can I know which adaptors are compatible with it ?

The USB port on that device probably does not support MTP, so it can't directly pull music off of the storage. It also was released around 2010ish (Based on a quick Google), before Android got the capability to send audio over USB so it does not support the Android standard. It will not be able to output over USB. You're going to have to use a 3.5mm cable to connect it to the headphone jack on the Nexus to get any audio output.
Ok, thx 4 help. Now i will buy 30pin to mini-jack adapter on ebay .
You can try one of those Apple 30pin <-> Bluetooth adapters. That way you can charge your phone over USB and just send the audio over Bluetooth to the dock. Something like this: http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-bluetooth-dock-adapter/

[Q] USB Bluetooth v4 driver for Android 4.0.3

Hello everybody !
Here's my issue:
I have an old chinese single core Cortex A9 ZeniThink C91 tablet with standard type A USB socket and Android 4.0.3.
I bought a ModeCom Bluetooth speaker which works perfectly with my mother's Acer Iconia A1-810 and Bluetooth v4.
I also bought an Ultron UBA-140 nano USB Adapter to use with my notebook and tablet but it doesn't recognise it.
I also have an old Bluetooth v1.2 adapter and it recognises it, I can pair the devices but can not use the speaker so the device and the Android supports Bluetooth adapters.
My questions are:
Can I get a driver for my BT v4 adapter to the Android 4.0.3 ?
Or should I buy a different adapter which is compatible with the tablet ?
How can I know which adapters are compatible with it ?
Thanks,
Zoló

I've already checked manufacturer's site.
There are Windows drivers, no Android

Question What USB type C to 3.5 Jack earphone adapters work with Xiaoxin pad pro / P11 Pro 2020 TB-J706F ?

Hi, I just recently bought a P11 pro 2020 and I'm very pleased with it.
The tablet came with a USB-C adapter to 3.5mm Jack headphone adapter that works perfect but I would like to have a spare one.
So far I have bought 2 cables that doesn't work, who knows what brand and type works with this tablet?
The brands/types I bought are;
Vention model BGJHA, without DAC chip advertised to work with Xiaomi/Huawei/Honor/Smartisan Nut/Oneplus **dont work with Xiaoxin pad pro 2020**
Blitzwolf BW-AA2, I believe with DAC chip advertised to work with Samsung Galaxy note/Google pixel/Ipad pro 2020 **dont work with Xiaoxin pad pro 2020**
Greetings!
Wow I didn't know this was a thing. I've used about 4 different ones. All with no issues
Have had NO luck with any adapters that I've tried. Just got a USB-C to HDMI adapter yesterday it fails too. I know one thing, I'll never buy another tablet unless it has a 3.5 jack on it. Damn this crap.

Nameless generic unfortunately
Ok, hope somebody else rings in with the golden tip.
My thoughts were that you can choose adapters with and without DAC chip but it seems there is more to it.
Trough I don't know for sure if the Blitzwolf adapter has a DAC chip.
Only when plugging in the original adapter I see in the USB settings menu that it is connecting, even with no headphones or headset plugged in.
I will try and order a Vention adapter with confirmed DAC chip and report back.
Just got the audio adapter in and it works! Headphones work and when plugging in a headset the tablet shows the headset symbol.
It is the Vention model BGMHA with DAC chip, advertised to work with Ipad pro, Samsung Note 10, Macbook etc.
Samsung USB C headphones adapter is recommended.
It supports up to 24bit/96kHz (32bit/192kHz for Motorola phone) with Poweramp
Pro 2020 do not required adapter with sound chipset integrated, obviously you can use any adapter without any issue
- Base us C to 3.5 adapter
- Xiaomi C to 3.5 adapter
Add this

It works best with Moto phones, but it works pretty good with P11+ as well

weird sound issue

Hello everyone, I have a very very annoying issue with the headphones + amp / DAC connected with the mobile phone ( fold z 4 )
I have little hopes to find a fix, but it's worth trying.
So, let's explain what is about.
I'm using the headphones Denon D9200 ( wired ) + the Signature amp / DAC connected to the mobile phone.
micro iDSD Signature by iFi audio - Supercharged desktop and transportable USB DAC and headphone amp
Our iDSD Signature Dish Supercharged desktop and transportable USB DAC and headphone amp that will take your tunes to the moon and back.
ifi-audio.com
https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/over-ear-headphones/ah-d9200
After listening some time on YouTube, the signal from the Signature is gone and the mobile phone speakers are active, not the headphones
I tested on different mobile devices. Here are the results.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 ultra : after less than 5 minutes, same issue.
Android 13, One UI 5.0
Samsung Galaxy Z fold 4, same issue.
Android 13, One UI 5.1
Google Pixel 2 XL, no issues
Android 8.1, rooted phone, but the sound quality is far far away behind , from everything else I used as mobile device.
Low volume, no matter I do, and it sounds like I'm using some cheap amp / DAC device
IPad Pro 12.9 ( tested on 3 different devices, 2018, 2020 and 2021 )
No issues at all. The sound quality and the loudness level is the best I've ever heard with the Signature + Denon d9200
That's a mistery for me. I thought, the Signature is doing the job, not the mobile device or the OS
USB C is on all devices ( iPad pro, Android phones, Android tablet )
PC Windows 10, no issues at all
Laptop Windows 10, no issues at all
Samsung Galaxy note 10 and Note 9 ( didn't check the Android and One Ui version )
Same issue
It's hard to say but it might be Android ( latest versions ) the culprit.
Google Pixel 2 xl is using Android as well but some older ( 2018 ) version and with custom ROM + custom kernel
Hopefully, someone here who read this post, with the Signature and some newer Android devices, could give me some advices
Thank you
LE : from the Signature to the mobile devices, it's a cable USB A with an OTG adapter to USB C
That's the only way I can connect it with the USB C mobile devices.
Just did another test, for about one hour with Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus
Android 12, OneUI 4.0
Not a single issue.
Android 13 is the culprit. Not the cables, not iFi Signature.
With Android 13, they added the headphones icon when headphones are connected and the volum button is used
Android 12, classic, without the headphones icon
I wonder what exactly could be done about this
There must be a way to fix it
Any advices, guys??
