Background Sync - ZTE Nubia X Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
so this thing is annyoing me since i got the phone about a month ago and I thought maybe someone else would come up with this but seems like noone actually has this problem.
So since i got my phone, basically background synchronisation of apps are non-existant. I use a lot of social messengers (whatsapp, skype, etc) and the messages just dont get synchronised in the background. Its not about Data, i checked and disabled all the limits. Also its not about Power consumption, i also checked that. Background Sync is working for maybe 10 minutes until the phone just shuts the app down and no messages and or notifications appear.
It really annoys me, so maybe some of u guys got a fix.
I am on version 2.20 now, but started at 2.11
I already rooted it in every version and also tried resetting but that didn't help either.
My Carrier is T-Mobile Germany and the APN seems set correctly. Could it have to do something with the carrier?
Developer Option Background Limits is set o Standart. I just got one simcard installed
Thanks for looking into it and sorry for any language mistakes

GMail Not Auto-Refreshing/Pushing!

When I get new emails, or delete emails on my computer, the phone is NOT UPDATING/REFRESHING. This happened BEFORE AND AFTER the OTA UPDATE. I also made sure in settings that it was set to sync.
Whenever I manually refresh, the manual refresh works. So far that's the only way it works. I just came from a Vibrant and it was working fine.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry I do not have a solution...but I notice the same on mine
When I woke up this morning and grabbed my phone on the way out the door, I noticed I had no emails. I know that I usually get a few throughout the night/early morning (bank balances and such). When I opened the Gmail app and hit refresh...it suddenly pulled them all and had 13 unread emails...
...I noticed for the last week or so, my HD2 running Foyo 2.2 was also acting a bit wonky with email delivery as well...but because Android is not native on that device, I kind of blamed it on that fact...maybe not?
It's not just you:

I will get my GMail emails without manually refreshing, but rarely...
There's too many crumbs all over the place at google right now.

[Q] Live Mail Sync Error 800C0069

Is anyone else getting problems with synching email on the WP7 device at the moment. I get the above error code on my HD7, and it can't receive or send email for my main live account. When I go into the email tile, no emails are displayed at all. It was working fine yesterday, but today it's gone completely. No matter what I do, I can't get it to work.
I've tried the suggestions found on some of the MSDN forums etc... such as changing your region language, unchecking the sync email option, but nothing works. The only other suggestion I've found is to hard-reset the phone, but that's something that I REALLY don't want to do, and don't think I should have to do either!
Any ideas out there. This is the first time that WP7 has really let me down, I think it's a great OS with masses of promise, but something like this could be a total deal breaker. What's more, MS don't seem to be taking it at all seriously, even though it seems the problem is quite widespread.
I'm facing this problem sometimes using Wi-Fi, but never happened when using cellular 3G. You dont need to hard reset device, just check when you have better connection.
Not connected to good or bad signal - get the problem no matter whether on wifi, or with full HSDPA signal.
Eventually managed to get it sorted - by changing the sytem locale, rather than display language, it seems to have started synching again, let's hope it doesn't go tits up again!

[Q] Stoped automated email refresh

Hi I noticed that for a while now that my email is not refreshing automatically anymore, I think it was convinient that the device made a sound everytime I got a new email, any ideas what might have changed?
Ps: Can you stop the sound when the battery is low, I really dont need a asian lady with a heavy accent telling me this ^^
thx in advance!

Check your email Sync settings? Not sure what the asian lady thing is about. Lol
Asian lady? What asian lady? Mine only ever beeps when it's low on battery...
Is this a battery saver setting, by any chance?
As for the email, sbdags is most likely right, check the sync settings.
Asian lady? NIMBY!
J/K, obviously, but I've never heard an Asian lady tell me the battery is running low, even the relatively short period I was running stock. Third party app?
And indeed you should take a look under Settings > Accounts> Google and see if there's something awry with the E-mail syncing (I've had a few errors in there, especially concerning Calendar sync, but you never know).

Well you are right I checked accounts and indeed there is something wrong with synch, however it says it will fix itself in a while but it has been a few weeks now. Also my Hotmail won't synch either so it is not just Google.

It didn't fix itself in my case -- I had to manually remove my account (I may have rebooted subsequently) and then re-add it. You might give that a try. It did correct itself one way or the other in the end, but it took my inetrvention.
Oh, and Tasks syncing screwed up as well: it needs to be granted access to Google Tasks explicitly -- I must admit that took me a minute to find out.

[Q] No notifications on the screen turned off (Hangouts/Facebook Messenger)

Hi guys.
November 28 I have a problem with the notifications of Hangouts and Facebook Messenger. If the message comes on the screen turned off it does not notice. It was only when I turn the screen it appears notification. I checked everything, from programs, modifying the change ROM with another version of Android and the kernel. During testing, it does not turn the settings, do not sync anything but I installed hangouts. Also format the memory card. I do not know what to do. I did not change the radio, I do not know what is.
Thanks for any advice.
Felt that no one knows the cause. Strange problem...
Maybe someone is interested. I found this:
[APP][2.2+][ROOT][FREE][12-SEP-2013] Push Notifications Fixer v4.1
Google Talk disconnecting repeatedly, also affecting push notifications
I will check. Strange that only me that problem exists.
No change. Push Notification with Hangouts and Facebook Messenger comes along with notification of new mail with Gmail (including notification push). I do not know what else to do...
Be sure you're not the only one.
I'm struggling with the exact same problem on my HTC One XL for mothes.
Nothing helps.
I'm mad by now...
So do I. So far I have not found this method, and lost a substantial functionality.
I tried to contact Google several times, but no response. Waiting for service updates to version 4.1.31 google, as nothing will change that sell Sensation...
Problem solved, it turned out that I had no Z710 Sensation, only Sensation 4G. I do not know what exactly is different except that 4G was available in T-Mobile.

Apps don't show notifications until opened and can't get started by other applications

Dear XDA Forum!
first: yes i used the search function although i couldn't find a thread which addresses my issue in general, also i tried a few of the fixes regarding the notifications although it didn't solve my problem.
Phone: Doogee S88 Plus
OS: Android 10
I received this phone a while back and i'm pretty happy about it, although i noticed a very strange behaviour regarding nearly all apps.
Apperantly, every app that isn't a foreground app, will get killed or at least will not send notifications until they are opened which, you sure can think, is damn annoying.
Also, apps won't start with Android Auto, except Google Apps like News, calendar, maps and such. Spotify, Audible and every "external" apps will refuse to start on android auto until i open them manually on the phone, then they will show up on my car as well.
i checked the installed software and noticed a preinstalled energy saving app (which is funny with an 10Ah battery but well ) called com.cydroid.softmanager
Thinking this could be an issue i uninstalled/deactivated the app via ADB, although it didn't get better in any form.
And yes, of course i checked the battery optimization which is turned off for the usual apps which send notifications like Signal, Threema, Outlook, Authenticator and such
As i use Signal as my SMS/MMS app, i can say that i will not receive SMS/MMS notifications as well, i will receive them if i use the standard SMS app Messages though.
Also notifications in general are activated.
Maybe it has something to do with Doze? I'm currently at my wit's end.
I already thought about rooting the device, although it doesnt seems like that there is any rom out there for it, it has the option for OEM Bootloader unlock in the dev options though, but to be honest it's been a long while since i rooted android devices except from Samsung.
Hopefully you guys can help me!
Kind regards
**edit**
also i think it has to do with the background apps in general since foreground apps like my VPN (Cyberghost) will keep running without issues
also i noticed if i restart the phone all the apps will start correctly in the background, so it seems, since i'll get the notifications immediately
