Hi All,
I've been quite closely following Alterbridge and his Overcome GB custom rom, and since i travel around alot, its been so worth my while following it through the XDA app.
The app itself is clean, no extra fuss, and gives exactly what you ask for. What i'm driving at here is, do you feel its missing anything? Maybe we can get the developer to join us and see if they like our ideas and possibly add them to the app.
i'll go first - i think the option to THANK someone in the forums, if they helped you in any way could possibly be added to the menu (for me in android, its long-pressing menu drop-down on a specific post )
The app itself is VERY similar to Tapatalk but its missing one of my must-have features. I would love there to be a "dark" theme that uses white text and a black background instead of black text and a white background. Just something to think about.
xda app
i still can't figure out how to post with it
Search function, being able to see the smileys instead of text wrapped in colons, ability to re-arrange the order of the favorites list, and the ability to attach files other than images.
I use the XDA app alot, probably more than I visit XDA on my PC, so I guess the little things that the tapatalk app don't do tend to bug me a little after awhile lol.

There is an option to use different themes. Press menu/more/settings/display style. And you want the simple theme.

I've been trying out different ROMs and AcDis apps, but nothing compares to the stock Active Display. One feature I liked of the AcDis-like apps was the ability to change the foreground color. Is it possible to change the stock app's foreground color with an xposed mod or app? Thanks.

I have been messing around with xblast and managed to change some of the colors. Not the clock color but some of the info you get when you press down on a notification in active display. That's a powerful xposed module.
Yeah I would love to be able to change the colors. I'm sure it could be done with xposed but I have no clue how to code. If anyone took this up it would be appreciated!
Might be able to come up with something...
Is there any way to change the active display pulsing time / duration? It's great, but the time difference between the Active display going off and coming back is six seconds for notifications, which is little too much for me.
Thanks for you help, let me know if you need anything from me. I'm on an unlocked Verizon running stock system, faux kernal, and TWRP.

Finally,,change colours of active display is possible or not??
Hey guys,
has anyone of you seen this before? Stock email app, the reply, delete, forward buttons on the bottom of email work fine but I can barely see them, they are super faded to the point I need to put the phone 5 inches from my face to see what's what. Any ideas?
If you are using a theme, try to revert back to default theme and see if the problem persists

Agreed, most likely a theme applied color scheme
I love the icon set and used to have it on my B321 Rom but now I downgraded to B200 the Benbai theme is no longer listed in the Huawei themes app.

Thank you very much.
on a side note, does anyone know how to remove the circles behind the icons?
Solved this myself. Used the EMUI theme editor on the play store to remove the mask around the icons.

I'm just wondering if anyone happens to know where handcent might store their images for their downloadable themes? There's a few I love, short of one detail on either the conversation list background, or the actual conversation background. So I'd like to be able to tell both areas to use the background image I like more. I know I can tell it to use a custom image, but I'm just not sure where those ones are stored on my device to select one.
If anyone happens to know, that would be great!! Thanks
