Hello,
I do not know how but my phone get out from QHSUSB and now I can go to hboot.
The problem is there is no ROM when the phone boots. It's stuck on HTC logo.
I have unlocked the bootloader with HTCDEV but it is not S-OFF. Hboot is 1.18.
When I go to fastboot I can write "fastboot flash.... recovery.img" and it goes OK, but after restars bootloader I tried to go to recover but the phone just stuck on that logo again.
I have tried CWM and 4EXT but it is the same problem.
Can I flash RUU without recovery and ROM?
Help, please!

Yes, but I don't see instructions about installig RUU afeter unbricking.
I think that this will help but I want some one to explain more about this commands:
fastboot.exe erase cache
fastboot.exe oem rebootRUU
fastboot.exe flash zip path\to\firmware.zip

Normaly RUU (Rom Update Utility) is an exe that you can run from PC to bring a ROM or ROM update to your device. As far as i know.
Where did you find this three commands?
May you could post you question to the Unbrick thread to, i´m sure that there are people that can help better as i can, because i´m a Themer and not a Developer. ;D
I get this error:

Can you boot your device into Bootloader by pressing Volume Down+Power Button. If yes put the PG58IMG.zip on SD Card and Boot into Bootloader, normaly the device will flash the P58IMG.zip if you start into Bootloader.

I have tried but the ZIP just done nothing. Loaded and.. nothing.
I think the there is some other problem. May be some partition is not accessible.
Also I now see that I have to S-OFF to flash RUU tru fastboot.

Okay, normaly the device should flash Firmware (P58IMG) when booting in bootloader. You sure that you put it directly to SD and not in a folder. PLS ask in the Unbrick thread, there are a lot of people that are more fit in developing as i am. I telled you what i´m knowing. Sorry that i couldnt help you to bring your device back to life but maybe there are people that can help. Give it a try pls.
You got the fastboot command wrong, its:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
In any case you cant flash a firmware with S-ON that why the unbrick thread says find an RUU exe and run it

Flashing an RUU is a must after unbrick.
The error you got wile flashing the RUU is because your bootloader is unlocked.
Relock your bootloader using this command:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Then, flash an RUU.
If you can paste the output of
Code:
fastboot getvar all
then I can provide you with a link to the appropriate RUU for you.
Please remove your IMEI & Serial Number from the output.

Yup. Just put the phone into fastboot & flash.
You need the one that is for your device. PG13001 is Sensation XE & PG13000 is Sensation.
You said your mid is PG58130 so I gave you both.
Choose the right one for your device.
================================================
You will also need to unlock your bootloader after flashing the RUU if you want to flash recovery.
Great to see that somebody can help him. Thx and thumbs up!

I have successfully flashed the RUU. The Hboot is now 1.27, but still no luck boot or getting to recovery.
Tried to flash custom recovery again. It was successfull but I can't get to it.
I think that partitions in nand /emmc/ are messed.
Some other ideas?
do
this
boot to recovery using this command
fastboot boot recovery.img
then if you booted up fine ..then flash a custom rom from it

Hi, after flashing an incorrect version of gapps onto a CM10.1 nightly rom I have worked myself into a very tight corner.
The phone is s-on, wont boot into android and also I am unable to enter any kind of recovery. I have tried fastboot flash recovery and fastboot boot recovery with CWM and TWRP and flashing a stock recovery extracted from an RUU. All I get when trying to enter recovery is a reboot then HTC white screen then boot loop. I am under the impression all I can possibly do at this stage is to flash a stock RUU yet I can only find one RUU that matches my ORANG_001 cid and that gives me the error of "44 hboot version check fail". So I then tried to flash a more recent RUU but they all have different cid numbers. If I attempt to modify the android-info.txt to add my cid I corrupt the zip and get a sign verification failure. I've attempted to make a new zip and then resign it with AutoSign.zip but again I get a "12 signature verify fail."
If anyone could shine any light on altering cid inside RUU or possibly a way of me getting back into recovery it would be greatly appreciated.

To run the latest cm hou have to have a hboot of 2.15. What's your current version?
Did you btw flash the boot.img seperatly?
If s-on you have to.
Flash a RUU (cant flash a RUU with a lower hboot than that you already have)
Than do otas till your on jb. Then go back to custom roms.
Verstuurd van mijn HTC One S met Tapatalk
Thanks for the replies, is it possible to s-off when I can only access bootloader though? My hboot is 2.15.0000 and yes I had flashed the boot.img separately, the rom worked perfectly until I flashed the wrong gapps. I would love to flash an RUU but I can only find one that is compatible with my cid and it won't install.

fastboot erase cache
^-- this often / sometimes / maybe fixes the situation where recovery fails to boot.

extract the boot.img file from the zip (do not extract the zip) to your PC desktop, then boot the device in fastboot usb and in a CMD session in the PC (located in the desktop folder) type:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then when you get the OKAY, type:
Code:
fastboot reboot
Hello! I have this phone and it had unlocked bootloader so i flashed custom recovery to install stock rom. But it didn't boot even after flashing zip from CM. So i decided to flash stock RUU. I managed to get cid from unbootable phone by using "getvar cid" so i downloaded RUU with proper cid. This RUU flashes fine until it comes to the end- and that is represented as error 152.
When i unplug the cable, phone shows that partition "USERDATA" failed, and when i reboot the phone, i have black screen with HTC shown, with 4 triangles at the corners.
I tried to unlock bootloader to flash recovery again, but it does nothing when i use unlocktoken obtained from HTCDev. I also tried using rom.zip from RUU to flash through fastboot, but it doesn't help.
is there any hope for this phone ? thanks in advance.
I am trying to restore my stock ROM so I can do a carrier reset. (I use ting and my phone was sprint).
I am using ubuntu but have a windows install as well.
I Unlocked the bootloader with htcdev, installed TWRP, and rooted with SuperSU, and flashed the ARHD 20.0 rom because sprintzone makes me angry. It read that it is actually a GSM rom and I have a CDMA sim card so I won't be using that anymore.
Current predicament:
RELOCKED
S-ON
RECOVERY MODE fails with "failed to boot to recovery mode"
phone will not boot to system, just goes straight to bootloader. Download mode works.
I want to fix recovery mode but I can't do it because the bootloader is locked.
MAIN PROBLEM: fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin reports success, but the phone immediately reboots bootloader with RELOCKED, so I cannot flash any recovery image. I also cannot turn S-OFF because I cannot boot into system or gain access through recovery mode to install the sunshine app.
I have gathered that I need to flash an RUU image, but I can't do that because my MID and CID are not supported (according to other threads) and S-OFF.
I tried to install the RUU anyway with:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 0PJAIMG.zip ##(sprint version)
but it threw: Invalid sparse file format at header magi fastboot: /libsparse/sparse.c:144: write_all_blocks: Assertion 'pad >= 0' failed. so no luck.
Is there another way I can restore manually from fastboot without an RUU? I couldn't find a system.img or bootloader.img or anything like that. Will it work if I go buy an external SD card and but the RUU on that? or maybe someone knows what is wrong with the unlock process.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Have you tried using sp flashtools instead to see if that works ? I think you may be better asking in the m9 forums here

hopefully one of the experts has come across this before
