Yep I got the 85 mgb update to the full ota we got 2 weeks ago. All the LTE/4g bands that Europe use are still missing! Well done Xiaomi!!!!

Works perfectly here no issues with 4g in lithuania. Swipe fp for notifications option is also there and works good
Confirmed in Germany. Still updating, so no information about LTE Bands yet
LTE working 100% in Macedonia.
Overall, the phone feels smoother. One thing missing is the LED notification. For me, it's not working.
LTE working in Brazil too. I went from 8.1 to 9.0 official. I guess those that updated early are not receiving a fix for the bands with the December update. I hope Xiaomi fixes it for you guys.

I just got the update 1069.1 mb in albania, and after install my data conection is not working at all, not 4g, not 3g or 2g , nothing :/

Here in Serbia stable update came and no problem with LTE, just problem with hardwer keys and their glow even with enabled soft keys. And no notification light ?

No, not for me. The only thing I noticed, is that the data limit warning was resetted to 2GB (before it was set to 5GB) but I am missing no important data at the moment.
I can confirm the update for Germany. LTE is also working fine. Battery life seems to be improved. Update did not wipe data

I'm currently on Turkey and I download 1069.1 gb update but there is some features mising and I actually don't know why. I can't see digital welllbeing nor ambient display settings (ambient display only have notification option) also I don't have buttons section on advanced settings is it regional lock or am i doing something wrong ? Someone can help me pls

You can only enable or disable ambient display. There are no other settings. What do you mean with "buttons section in advanced settings"? If you want to enable the pie gestures, you have to go to settings > system > gestures > swipe up on home screen and click on enable.
PS: If you have Do not disturb enabled, please check if you have selected custom settings under do-not-disturbed settings > notifications. There is an option under "With deactivated display" "Don't turn display on". See if this in un-checked.

As you probably know, there is probably an issue in EMUI and killing «automatic processes» application like Tasker & Macrodroid even though they are activated in protected mode and in ignore list of optimization.
I have tried Tasker & Macrodroid as far now without any luck. EMUI version NXT-L29C432B320

I have problems on this with Tasker and other apps not being able to stay on in the Accessibility.
I can't keep up my sleep cycle alarm up all night ._. this is ultra annoying. Not only I can't send smses from 3rd pty apps like mighty text, or pushbullet, but now I can't even use these apps, which sleep crappy EMUi.
I'm running Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 on Huawei P10 and I experienced that my Runkeeper is killed time to time as well.
I just found a hidden menu with battery optimization. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Settings (a gear icon at the bottom) >> Special access >> Ignore battery optimization. Found your app and disallow the optimization.
I haven't tried that yet but it might help.
update: no, it does not work, Runkeeper is still being killed :-/

I can confirm this does not solve the problem. On my Honor 9 (EMUI 5.1) Tasker still gets killed from time to time. I also checked Run in foreground + Show notification icon in Tasker options.

One change I see is that I don't have Bluetooth activation problems anymore. While before this update my Bluetooth suddenly disconnected and couldn't be enabled unless doing a restart, it seems that now this doesn't happen. My Bluetooth stays enabled and it can be easily enabled disabled.

In this update, you can go to app drawer from home screen with swipe up, and back in home screen from app drawer with swipe down. ?

Nope. The difference between XZP and XZ1/C is display Flash, Treble and new Dialer.

Does anyone know why whenever an app is installed it doesn't show in the home screen instantly, i always have to swipe it out?

Currently nothing is known about this update - no changelog, no announcement, nothing.
Let's discuss what's been fixed and not fixed in comparison to the first Oreo update.
I haven't received it yet and I don't want to clean Google Services Framework data (this often breaks your notifications).

GPS icon stuck
DND volume UI problem
Ambient notifications can now be interacted with
Fingerprint swipe gesture UI is now enabled
Bluetooth battery drainage
Phone app freeze/delay
Audio quality for video recording
Wrong rapid charging message
SIM is HD capable icon
App is running in background notification
GPS issue is still there.

Yes, it's really annoying but Xiaomi refuses to fix it.
What about lock screen notifications fonts? In the first Oreo build they were increased unnecessarily.

For me everything is working flawlessy. Xiaomi devs did a good job.

Try clean flashing the last nougat update via MiFlash, I just got it after setting my phone up
How do u use mi flash and can I get a guide please.
The battery stats still not shows well, after clean flash.
for me dialer issue is still present...the Phone app freeze/delay as before...i have tried thousand methods:
factory reset
reflash rom and update to january patch
change slot sim
clear app\data of phone app
update phone app
downgrade phone app
reset permission

This bug still remains in latest build (8.10.11). in miui per/app notifications option, notifications are activated by default,
BUT you can see a few options below each app notification page switch: Sound, vibration, show on lockscreen, show headup....
By default, I seem to remember only vibration option is activated, so here (and on each conversation you got a notification in the case of telegram)
You have to activate all options you want: sound, show on lockscreen....
After a while, all this activated options will be resetted by the system (we dont know why) and will switch back to its defaults >> "only vibrate and dont show on lock screen" combination.
So I want to collect information about this bug, wich remains after months, and its a very important thing wich need more atention.

This is a Pie issue. Early versions of Pie GSI ROMs had the same issue, but they were eventually fixed. I don't think that MIU is using that fixed Pie ROM as its base.

Same with WhatsApp vs. GBWhatsapp and sure more apps. Its a system issue on how it manage defaul values depending on preset or non preset apps

Disappointed by this and also the screen is not that good in my opinion. (Colors and Resolution compared to others)
Performance were great and gesture mode perfect.

I´ve tested new V10.0.3.0 very excited, but sadly I have to say this issue remains there.
Some of you maybe say "oh, Im not having this issue... my notifications are working well". Yes, but maybe it default is to play sound, vibration and so... but try to uncheck sound or anything, clean recents, and wait to get a notification for these certain contact. Probably your unchecked options will reactivate again.
I have the same issue on Dev Global M10. No notifications whatsoever for Hangouts, Android Messages, Discord, and Snapchat. Gmail works fine though.
Android 10 - Build QP1A.190711.107 is released. My PH-1 is updating OTA.

I assume now that it is official, that SafetyNet is passing ok so things such as GooglePay aren't a problem? I had avoided trying a beta because of the lack of SafetyNet failures on them from what I had read, and I tend to use GooglePay and a few games that need SafetyNet.

Can't really answer that definitively, it came out a few hours ago. I don't consider using Beta releases as proof, and the thing about battery life, is that it is so dependent on what you do with your phone, that each one of us will get different results.
I'm surprised that the update is only 16 MB if you're on the final beta, but I think I remember the update from Android 8 beta to 9 being similarly tiny. That's a pretty good indicator that barely anything changed from beta 6.

WIFI and bluetooth will not stay on. Factory reset doesn't help. Neither does going back to Android 9 and doing another OTA to 10. Staying on 9 until further notice!

Go to gesture settings. Switch to 2/3 buttons
Mine on Android 10. Problem is :
1. Full dark mode but not on google feed
2. Force dark mode is good, but in Facebook app highlight text/Notification text is turn to white.
3. No Face unlock
4. Media crash on calendar sound
5. can`t use gesture navigation with 3rd party launcher

Updated OTA last night. So far so good, not noticed any specific issues yet.
Kudos to essential for keeping so on top of these updates. If they do ever release another one I will buy one so long as they strengthen the phone/data signal a bit. That is pretty much my only disappointment with this one, but still it was worth every cent of the 200 bucks or so I paid for it.
Flashed ota through twrp and rooted using Magisk's canary build.
No issues thus far. I can change the stock calendar notification without media crash, but I'm only using the stock sounds. Are those experiencing issues using custom sounds?
Still can`t use gesture navigation with 3rd party launcher?
