change font type pixel 3 - Google Pixel 3 Questions & Answers

Is there a way to change the font type on pixel 3 to a bold one?
I search for it here on xda but maybey i used the wrong search words?

In settings-accessibility you can change the size but I dont see an option to make everything bold. That may still do what you are looking for.

Don't want the hexagon style start menu! How to change this?

I know it's in the cpr files, but when i tried to change them, the start menu didn't work at all. I want 4 icons besides each other and 4 colums. It should be possible, but I don't know how.

Thanks, but this isn't what I'm searching for as this is a program which has to be opened each time and slows the phone. Despite this I'd like to have 4 columns, not 5.

This might be what you are looking for http://www.wmskins.com/thumbnails.php?album=35
I also would love this, will make a request over there. They don't have it exactly, just want (if I am reading the posts correctly) 4 icons across by however many down in a square grid, not honeycomb. Just looks silly esp. now don't have the honeycomb grid behind to give it structure.

[Q] Editing "pop up menu" to have only 2 rows.

Hey, tried to find this from different forums, and googled my ass of, but didnt find any solution. So:
I was wondering that could i somehow edit something to get my "menu" to have only 2 rows like in picture number one, instead of 3 rows on picture number two.
I think i saw this to be possible when i flashed some theme a long time ago. I really dont like cuz the menu covers up almost half of my screen
Thanks and PEACE!

Got the answer from he_stheone64 .
Im using Endymion 3.2 Rom with "Sense launcher" and now it looks like i want

You can control the menu layout in icon_menu_layout.xml in layout-port folder of framework-res.apk.
These are the important values:
android:maxRows="3" android:maxItemsPerRow="3" android:maxItems="6"
So change them to whatever makes sense for you. I used that for my 1-click Menu in order to avoid more then 1 click and increased these values.

Well, for a more stock Android look, I use an app called "Goodlock" which themes the quick settings list.

Well, that's the problem. You must be an employee of Samsung to have that program. Which means that without a custom rom, it is not possible.
PS: they are Korean

Ohhh ok gotcha!! Bit outta my knowledge.
Yeah i would like to do some design changes myself but don't know how to access the UI to make the changes.

Samsung only gives access for the theme software to themers and the application process is a bit finnicky and you require a portfolio for them to look through. Maybe a different texting program? i personally use textra. Chomp SMS also has some theming capabilities
