Phone stuck un BootLoop and cant get into recovery mode - General Questions and Answers

Hi.
Today my phone suddenly restart itself and got stuck in bootloop
I can go into the (Vol Up + Power) Menu but if i pick recovery mode it just goes back to the bootloop
Fastboot mode seems to work but i dont have usb debugging
Odin cant see it
Do i have any chance of getting the phone working again?
It is a Doogee x5max rooted with the "clean rom"

The Recovery has nothing to do with other partitions. And Odin can see you anyways if debugging is on or off.I think it is a hardware issue as you can't boot to Recovery.

Hmm interesting.
Is there any way to confirm hardware issue? Also didn't odin need the phone in download/recovery mode to do anything?

Yes, Odin requires the device to be in download mode, but Odin only works on Samsung devices, it isn't compatible with other devices.
Fastboot isn't going to work without USB debugging enabled.

If fastboot works you can flash a recovery. If not working, flash a stock boot image and then custom recovery . Once you get into recovery problem solved.

Tell me I've not bricked my Xoom!!!

I've just tried to root my wifi only Xoom using the 1 click method, but didn't see there was a tab for wifi only & a 3G tab. I went through the options using the 3G options.
Now my Xoom's stuck at the red Motorola screen & won't go any further.
Are there any threads to reverse my balls up?? I've had a look but can't see anything
Please tell me I've not bricked it?!?
tell me why you posted this in the wrong section
I could tell you that it's not bricked...but then I might be lying.
Moved to Q&A. This is not development.
You will need to adb and flash recovery then flash the rom again.

Please let us poor souls know how you did it!!! I am stuck with the same problem - the screen freezes with the Motorola logo and the tablet wouldn't boot up!
For those still having issues, try going into fastboot and flashing the stock images.
You can access fastboot by restarting your xoom (power and vol up) and then once the red M comes up, tap the volume down key around a second later. You have a decent window of opportunity to press the key. This should take you to the bootloader. Once in there, use the volume down key to enter fastboot.
From fastboot you can either flash a custom recovery then from the recover install the BRD 3.1 rooted update, or you can just use the fastboot flash command to flash each partition back to stock.
Good luck.

Thanks . I have now installed custom recovery (ClockworkMod 3.0.2.8) but where do I get the rooted or stock ROM from? I suppose it has to be in a *.zip format.

[Q] Stuck in "FASTBOOT MODE - NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG"

My NExus S is stuck on the screen that says:
Fastboot Mode No Boot or Recovery IMg.
Product Name - Herring
HW Version - Rev34
Bootloader Version - D720SPRKC5
Baseband Version - D720SPRLCI
Carrier Inro - SPR
Serial Number 32300E25C33500EC
Lock State - Locked
options to select
Reboot Bootloader (gives me exact same screen) except it only says "Fastboot"
Reboot Back to the "FASTBOOT MODE - NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG"
Recovery (Can boot to CWM but I can't mount anything)
Power OFF (That works fine)
Then the little green man and the android logo
Followed by USB Control INIT
USB Control INIT End
STANDARD_SET_CONFIGURATION
Conventional wisdom says download some files and fix via fastboot. However in fastbootI can't run ANY of the steps without running FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK. When I run it my phone asks if I really want to unlock the bootloader. when I choose YEs and hit power it just freezes there.
My next thought Boot to recovery and restore. A restore through recovery followed by a reboot leads me back to the original no boot or recovery img.
Okay I'll just sideload a working rom by mounting usb storage. Then I can flash it with CWM and be up and running.
but when I try to do mount the USB Storage I get "E:Unable to write to ums 1unfile (No such file or directory)"
Finally, Last ditch Effort, I'll load up ODIN and use that to put on a working recovery. there's forums all over the place explaining how to do that right? Well yes, but the links to the Tar file are all broken.
What next my friends? I'd really like to get this phone working.

Reinstalled Drivers. Still no luck.
I have the same problem.
Same situation for me, because i pressed "Reboot" in CWM without having flashed a Rom (stupid ). Broken power button, hanging on Google logo or in Fastboot mode.
I hope RTK will help me :good:
Edit: I have no idea how to revive my Nexus S. Status: Broken Power button, Bootloop, can access Fastbood Mode but dont select someting, Bootloader unlocked, RTK doesn´t find any devices in Fastboot Mode, Device is rooted and has CWM

what about just using adb? Can you find it when you type fastboot devices? If so there's a command in fastboot to reboot to recovery I think.
I on the other hand am screwed. I read in another forum that it hangs on unlock because the internal memory is fubar.

Solution for me:
1. Turn device on into Bootloop
2. Connect it via USB (PC founds it)
3. type in CMD "adb reboot recovery"
4. device is in recovery
5. reflash everything i wanted :good:
Requirement is a working Android-SDK!
I wish it was that easy for me. I can access recovery just fine. It's the memory I can't touch. Unless someone knows a way to fix corrupted memory...

[Q] Need Help! Brand New Out OF Box Root Went Bad.

I'd just rooted Nexus 4 and that went very easy.
Now of out of box root on Nexus 5 went bad.
Installed ADB drivers, adb devices confirmed device, adb reboot bootloader, fastboot oem unlock (which erased everything), fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.2.3-mako.img (same 1 I used for Nexus 4 4.4 KitKat) and installed, went to recovery and enter. Then it locked up to a dim lit background. Now it won't turn on. Just turns on to very dim lit background that's blank.
The phone is not recognized by the PC no more. No ADB.
Need Help! Any Ideas?
i'll do some looking around. is there a reason you flashed a recovery meant for a different device instead of the ones you can get for the nexus 5?

I was in a hurry and should have read a little more. I thought if it worked for Nexus 4 with KitKat 4.4, it would work for Nexus 5 4.4 (bad idea). Now, I'm worried because the phone won't boot to nothing or turn on. It's just a dim lit background that's black.
so then i'm assuming you cant boot to the bootloader.

Hey, I got it in bootloader and tried to start it up but went back to dim lit black background. What should I try next?
@fish411 your only supposed to flash a recovery that's compatible with the nexus 5. You said you flashed to same recovery for your nexus 4 that's the problem it's not compatible.
While your phone is off try accessing recovery mode by holding volume down and power then use volume buttons select recovery. If that brings you to recovery mode try factory resetting

try fastboot flashing the right recovery. if that doesnt work, you have to fastboot flash the factory image.

Bootloader is recognized by the PC now. I got the Nexus Root ToolKit. What's the best option to use from that?
At least I'd thought, the driver shows up in device manager, but when typing in adb devices in command prompt, it just said " List of devices attached" with on device listed.

Code:
fastboot devices
not adb
yup. you'll fastboot flash recovery, not adb flash recovery.

The screenshot you posted of RSD lite shows a USB error. Make sure you're using a good quality cable (preferably the Motorola cable that came with the phone) and that you're plugged in to a USB port on the back of the PC and be sure it has a good connection. If nothing else, try using a different PC altogether.

Put the phone in fastboot mode and flash the stock images. Don't bother with toolkits, they're not needed plus they can cause more problems. Instructions in section 8 of my guide thread:
