HELP PLS?!
I have the XZ Premium, disappointed that it does not have the option to balance audio left/right, I have slightly less hearing in my left ear so drives me nuts when wearing headphones.
I've tried a few APK's with no success and i feel that ViPER4Android is my best option at this time. I've rooted devices before but found them to be much easier, this phone is completely confusing me.
Can somebody tell me the easiest way to get viper on my phone? Like step by step guide?
Or if anybody knows an easier way to get audio balance?!
Much appreciated!!

Are you still having trouble with this? You need to flash a recovery first in order to boot into recovery.

Im new here so please bare with me, i apologize in advance if my question is stupid.
I have rooted my O3D and im currently using the CMish ROM which doesnt work very well. The call quality is really poor and the camera has a green tone to it. The fact that the camera is kind of useless and no 3D is OK, but i cant use a ROM with poor call quality.. Other than that im quite happy with CMish.
I wish to go back to stock rom, is it possible to just update using the LG software or will i brick my phone if i try to update the normal way? Or should i use some other kind of method? I would prefer stock rom at the moment.
Use this method:

Thanks for your quick reply! I suspected that this was the easiest method.
I tried that yesterday, but as soon as i plugin my phone, windows gets a blue screen and hangs up. The only way to get my computer to run again is to restore Windows :/ I hope i get better results tonight when i get home from work.
I have tried that method now and it didnt work, i have done it before when i wanted the 10K-version before it was available here in Sweden.
But now the update program tells me that it cannot connect properly to the phone (the last step in the guide), it only runs to about 7% and then it stops and complains about connection with the phone.
The LG Software recognize the phone and windows installs all drivers properly.
Any ideas? I cant post in the thread you suggested since im a new member..
Hey guys, I did some searching but sadly I'm using the app on my phone so it's not exactly easy and I found nothing.
I'm looking for a way to increase the volume coming from my tablet. I've tried the Volume+ app but it didn't give me the increase I was expecting. I realize I can't change out the hardware but I feel the speakers have more to give then is being utilized.
Are there any apps, flashable tweaks, init.d tweaks or even custom ROMs that would provide a solution for me? I'm pretty familiar with flashing via CWM, TWRP and I know my way around Odin so flashing isn't a problem.
Thanks in advance!
A few of us are facing problems with the "error" message at installation when trying to upgrade to lollipop.
This is primarily because the system was earlier rooted and we changed a/few system files. For example tweaked the mixer_path.xml to increase or/and in my case remove the camera sound file from system/media to remove sound effect on clicking photo
The solution lies in undoing what you did or going clean. Factory reset wont help btw.
Cheers!
PS- i have nexus 5 stock. If anyone has the original mixer_path.xml file, i'll be really grateful coz i dont remember which values i changed. Or some help in the line. Thanks
I always thought this was common knowledge. Either way, it's been covered ad nauseum, and if people would just go to the OTA Help Desk sticky, they would learn this for themselves.

Hi folks!
Maybe my problem was discussed and solved elsewhere, if so - please redirect me as I wasn't able to find anything on topic.
I have a Photon Q (obviously) and wanted to connect it with smartwatch and bluetooth earphone to have perfect set - someone is calling, I'm checking "who is who" on the smartwatch and pick up (or not) by bluetootch earpiece. Well, although I've paired both of them with my phone, I can use it only partly becouse only one of them can be in the state "connected". When the smartwatch is connected, earpiece is not connecting automatically after switching on and vice versa. Even if I force connection of both, earpiece is connecting with state "connected (without phone)". The effect is when the smartwatch is connected, I can see who is calling on it, pick up and talk through it (it has speaker and mic - LG Urbane 2) but nothing is redirected to the earpiece. When the earpiece is connected, I can pick up and speak through it but there is no info on the smartwatch who is calling (although the rest of notification stuff still works ok)...
I've tried to do some magic with the BT settings of both devices, swith off the telephone profile for the LG, leaving it for the earpiece only - no success. Can anybody help me? Is it problem of my phone, my ROM (CM 13) or my bluetooth devices? I've read that people have no problem with connection and parallel work of two BT devices, can check who is calling on the watch and pick up by earphone, which is very intuitive and convenient.
Greetings
Arkady

Thanks for the answer.
No, I didn't try it, just after purchase I've sent it for SIM modding and since then I'm using CM ROMs, CM12 and now CM13. I was thinking about the fact that this problem may be caused by the soft but on the other hand CMs looks like quite well prepared so I was not sure... But if you suggest this, I must give it a try. Could you advice me where can I find this stock ROM for the Photon? I just don't want to load any crappy build and brick the phone.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for prompt reply. Have you a Dropbox account? I could share a folder in my Dropbox account, where you could upload the ROM.

Thank you very much for your help. Just one more question - is it possible to install it with TWRP recovery? Becouse TWRP I have installed sees nothing (I suppose it expects zip file, as the CM update files looks like). In the catalogue is the file named "recovery" - is it recovery needed for installation of this ROM? Will it be possible to go back to my present ROM and recovery in case BT problem would not be solved?
Thanks again

You can grab a version which is flashable via TWRP from here.
If you want to use the one provided by CornholioGSM, you'll need to flash with RSD Lite.
Thank you very much guys. I appreciate your kindness and I hope it will solve my problems.
All the best for Xmas and prosperous New Year!

Please suggest somekind of guide or tool that makes easier to change 1+8t bootsplash..theres only up to 5t tool but it aint work for me, or i just cant.
Would really appreciated if some guru could help
Thx in advance
You talking about the unlocked bootloader warning?
If that's what you're talking about that, then I'm sorry you're out of luck. Google has hardware baked that into android from my understanding.
Good question but it might be difficult to convince some developers to build this patch.
It has something to do with logo and display time which can replaced but I am completely unsure about this.
I am waiting for proper TWRP and pretty bored to keep manually flashing everything.
