Hello, google assistant does not work on my unit. The microphone works, I phone without problem. When I want to record my voice "ok google", there is no reaction. My friend has the same car radio and it works. Google services are updated.

Is there any information out there on Google Voice playing thru in car bluetooth sets. I have a Cadillac Escalade which works fine with the HTC Stock VVM but not with Google voicemail. Any thoughts?
This does not work with wired headsets either.
Strange. Playing voicemails on google voice through my wired headseat works fine.
My car is a Nissan Rogue 2012 and it does not have A2DP for bluetooth and only allows phone calls to go through my speakers in my car. Lately when i use the bluetooth calling through my car it has not been working. Well I decided to do the "Ok Google" voice command through my phone and my car picked up the audio as if it was in a phone call and the response was played over my car speakers. This has never happened before and is a great addition. Does anyone know if the new Google Search update added this feature for some reason? Anyone else having the same thing happen to them?
Hi.
I can't get OK Google to work via my bluetooth microphone.
I have the Google app open and it says "say OK Google".
It works 10/10 when I say it directly into my phone.
When I press the microphone button manually, it picks up 10/10 commands via my bluetooth headset.
Ok Google detection is ON for the Google App. (and it works via phone)
Hands-free -> For bluetooth devices = allowed
"Record audio through bluetooth headset if available" = ON
When I do the "OK google voice model" guide, where it asks you to say OK Google 3x, it doesn't listen to my headset at all. It picks up nothing.
As I said when I press the mic button manually it works 10/10, there's nothing wrong with the bluetooth set or connection.
Any ideas?

I usually have my G5 connected to my Bluetooth headset and car at the same time when I'm driving. My problem is that I like the music to play through the car's speakers but Google Maps and Waze to play through the headset. Is there any way to make this happen from one phone?
Hi, I just bought e nord 2 (but the question is applicable to any phone I think). I had a P20, and when connected to my car, (nissan qashqai J11) I was able to use steering wheel command to call up android assistant on phone, and it answer either if the infotainment device wasn't in aux/bluetooth mode. Now with the oneplus, it only works when in bluetooth input, or better, I can hear assistant voice only in that mode and putting the volume very high.
I think the difference between the two devices is that P20 send assistant output to the car as it was an incoming call, while op send it as a music stream or something so.
Here the question: is there some settings or some app that let me to send the assistant audio as a voice call over bluetooth?
Thanks!
