Bluetooth Question - T-Mobile LG G5 Questions & Answers

I usually have my G5 connected to my Bluetooth headset and car at the same time when I'm driving. My problem is that I like the music to play through the car's speakers but Google Maps and Waze to play through the headset. Is there any way to make this happen from one phone?

Integrating trinity with car

I am looking for a quick and easy way to integrate my trinity with my car.
Currently I have have a generic car mount with charger. However, I find that TomTom and telephone calls over the speakers are too quiet.
I was thinking of installing a Parrot MK6000 in my car as a method to stream audio from my trinity to the car stereo whilst also acting as a car kit for hands free use while driving. Has anybody had any experience with wiring up this kit? is it easy for a moderate level electronics users (able to solder wires proficiently etc.) to wire up?
Alternatively does anybody know of other solutions to integrate the trinity with the car stereo?
Hello:
I installed this hands free in my car, and it works really fine as a hands free. The audio streaming works well too, but the sound is quite methalic. With tomtom, there is a delay in the sound, the first word it says, for example "...Turn on the left in...." you listen "...urn on the left in ..." and it hanpens allways when tomtom starts to talk.
My OS version is wm5 and I read that wm6 solves this problem.
I recently bought a LG LAC7700R (carstereo with bluetooth and cd/mp3/wma player, with a seperate mic you can place somewhere in your car) works good, up to 5 phones can connect, last six called contacts it will remember. no phonebook in carstereo. Carstereo mutes automaticly by incoming call. You can even use BT audiostream.
i have always BT on, on my phone, it will connect by itself with the carstereo.
works fine for me.
now i am looking for a nice phoneholder with only a charger.

I have a similar setup, with the Sony MEX-BT2500 instead.
However I did not manage to route the Tomtom or iGO sound over the BT A2DP stream.
As a charging holder I have the Brodit Cradle installed.

check this, maybe it will help:
goto bt settings in your phone and activate bluetooth stereo on. that's the thing for play mp3's and navigationvoices over BT. The handsfree mode is for phone voice. (leave that on!)
does sony support a2dp ? maybe that's the problem.

Actually I bought the Sony because it supports A2DP. And with MortPlayer it works flawless when listening music. With activated Bluetooth Stereo (Headphone Symbol in top bar) Tomtom still uses the internal speaker.

bluetooth music streaming

How about it? How can you do it with a standard stereo headset? Thanks!
??
turn on bluetooth of phone.
turn on stereo bt headset into pair mode
discover bt headset in settings/networks/bluetooth
pair headset and phone
turn on music app
play music.
if you're asking about using any normal headphones, then you should get a bluetooth bridge adapter. some companies make them...

[Q] OK another audio question

is it possible to have phone calls streamed via bluetooth to in car audio, but have other audio output via phone speaker..
my issue is the navigation commands from copilot are inaudible when playing music - and also wont seem stream via bluetooth - so my ideal setup would be
phone to car bluetooth for calls only
play audio in car from ICE system
have phone play sat nav commands via phone speaker
quick answer.. yes i can
long answer .. involved switching off the bluetooth media device in the car

[Q] Bluetooth issue - other bluetooth apps?

Hello all
One of the issues I have with Bluetooth on this phone is that the controls aren't granular enough. I want to be able to make and answer phone calls in my car using the Bluetooth connectivity, however, when I turn Bluetooth on, Google Now and Maps also try to send their audio to the car speakers, and either A) you can barely hear the voice, or B) it doesn't work at all and I hear nothing (this is especially true when I'm playing other music media in the car that isn't coming from the phone).
Is there any way (or is there an app) that can redirect Google Now and Maps to continue to use the phone speaker, while phone calls can go through the car? Right now it seems like it's the same setting to control both phone calls and audio output from apps.

App suggestion for fitness instructor

I was talking to a friend and he is a fitness instructor..
He recently started his own gym with a few friend.. and asked for the best solution to add a mic into the music system..
Currently he is playing his music from computer via wire to a bose wireless speaker (30 Touch). I could suggest him to buy a stupid expensive uhf mic system and add into his system..
However I am wondering won't it be a much better system to use his smart phone and just bluetooth it to the wireless speaker instead? I mean have a headset plug it and use it as a mic and have the both the mic audio and the music play out and stream to bluetooth speaker..
Anyone know of such app.
If there is no such app.. Is there even an app to allow mixing of mic from headset and music playback together (live) and output through headphone. If there is such thing at least I could suggest to use a headset splitter and a bluetooth transmitter to send that signal to the speaker.
He currently have an apple but if he needed to get a cheap android phone just for that use, so be it..
Please let me know.
