Hi, I have a note 10.1 and just got myself some creative d200 speakers which are really nice!
my question is i now have them paired and when i turn my bluetooth on from my note 10.1 it shows as devices ready to connect and shows my speakers 'paired' but i then have to always select them for them to connect, is there any way that when i turn my bluetooth on it will auto connect to them?
thanks
james

With my phone note if I first swiched bluetooth on from my phone and after that turned my headphones on it would autoconnect. Don't know why is that if i turned my headphones on first and then the bluetooth i would have to connect manually

Whatever car app I am using on my S6 it will open BT but not autoconnect to my htc stereoclip bt receiver in my car. I have unpaired and re-paired many timed. The only solution is to shutdown the bt receiver and restart it, why is the S6 not connecting by itself when the app ask it to?

So very annoying. There's an app called bt auto connect, try that. It only worked for me occasionally, but maybe you'll have better luck

Tried it but nothing changed, the only way to for my S6 to connect is doing it manually or to turn off-on my BT receiver everytime.
I ordered NFC tags but I wished there is a fix.
It looks like samsung TW is forbidding auto-connect for a weird reason
My s7 is not connecting to my bluetooth stereo like my previous phones did. Anyone else have this problem? I think I may have changed a setting by mistake
I have the same problem, the BT disconnects from the car during calls for no reason and then tries to reconnect again. Never happened with any of my other devices, including S6 Edge... really hope Samsung comes up with a solution, this is very annoying and I'm very disappointed.
I also have the same problem. My S7 doesn't connect automatically when in paired device range. I had Nexus 5 with marshmallow and it was always connecting automatically to car audio.
Does anyone face similar problem or know the solution?
I have the same problem and have not found a solution.
Hi all,
Recently upgraded to Cyanogen 13 (marshmallow) on one plus one and since update Bluetooth connection to car head unit is not stable. I can receive calls fine but if I try to make calls the phone reboots. Happens less if original one plus flip cover is open (sensor not blocked), didn't happen in 12.1 (Lollipop).
Have done the forget and re-pair on both car head unit and one plus, clear cash/data and have done factory reset, nothing works.
Seems to be worse when playing podcasts via BT, not an App problem as all was fine before update.
Have looked through previous posts on a lot of forums, looks like this is not restricted to just oneplus and may be a marshmallow issue. Anyone else experience this and come up with a fix?
Cheers.
I have connection issue too in car, connects for 2 seconds then drops, cannot hold the connection. It worked before I upgraded to COS13. Only thing I've seen is report the bug to developers and hope they come out with a fix..

Same for me. Buetooth connection in CM13 is very bad. Phone reboots... Worked fine in CM12.x.

Same for me, the phone reboots if any call is made through Bluetooth & Car when the flip cover is closed. Looks like a bug is reported in jira, but closed with description as invalid.
Anyone knows workaround?
There is a small magnet about 45mm up and 10 mm in from the bottom left corner of the case, (looked at when the case is open) this interacts with a hall effect device. What I did was tape a piece of mu metal 10mm x 40mm over the magnet in the cover so that the phone doesn't turn the screen off or on when the cover is opened. It needed a bit of experimenting as the first time I tried it, enough magnetism leaked after 30 mins to activate the sensor.

Ran into this on my Samsung S3 running CM13. (Seems to be a core CM13 issue....) Only a problem on my phone when connecting to headphones and speakerphones that have BOTH media AND phone profiles.
The workaround (not great, but better than a rebooting phone) is to disable one of the two profiles in the device-specific Bluetooth settings. Then it only accepts/makes calls -or- plays music/audio.
I don't know if anyone is having this issue but several times when im on a call in the car after a certain period of time my phone disconnects from the car and reconnects.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Otherwise it could be my car but would like to avoid taking it in.

It might be your car, but I would suggest turning off the nearby device scanning, because if it detects another Bluetooth device, it will try to connect to the other device, which might be causing the disconnection problem.

definetly is your car, more than this i tell you that is BT of you car not anymore compatible with MM.
I have a Pioneer one, mentime is connected with gear fit and hand free car audio with my S7, no issues.
In the past with lollipop, i had to change car audio to make it compatible.
i suggest to contact you car brand for a update(something impossible but it is worth a try)
I just got the S7 two days ago and I use Tasker to automate music playing both on my BT speaker and in my car. Using both devices the bluetooth connects/disconnects/reconnects in a second according to the log in Tasker. So say goodbye to using Exit Tasks if a profile is set to run on BT Connect.
edit: btw just to clarify, the phone doesn't disconnect after that initial issue and that can only be detected because of the way Tasker works/because of the log, otherwise connecting to a BT device appears to be seamless, you won't notice it dropping the connection for one second when it initially tries to connect.
