Charger Honor 8 Pro - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I'm trying to find, on the net, an official charger for my Honor 8 Pro to enjoy fast charging.
The Anker IQ I bought only works with Snapdragon processor.
I made a search package but difficult to unravel the true from the fake. I found this one, it says Qualcomm but I have a doubt because it seems to be an official Huawei charger that uses Kirin processors.
Can you help me find my happiness?
Thank you in advance.

With no P8 Max or Sony Ultra successor, where to go for 6'8" size Phablets?
I'm panicked. It's a dead breed!
Yeah that sucks no P9max
Lenovo Phab Plus any good?
I am a proud P8 Max user (the international variant) and I am disappointed that the P9 Max did not get released.I am also pleased that it did get released because I have only recently purchased my P8 Max and I am pretty happy with it and would not even consider getting a Samsung S7 Edge or the P9 Plus or any of the Ipants versions.
Also, as a former user of the Xperia Z Ultra, this phone is on a completely different quality level. As for the Lenovo Phab Plus, I don't think it compares to the P8 Max in terms of quality and spec so I would buy the P8 Max again with my eyes closed over the Phab Plus or X Z Ultra or even the LeTV Le Max/Pro 6.33".
The important question here is did someone lie about the P9 Max existence? Why did all the tech blogs fail to give accurate information or gave almost confirmed information? Was Oppomart the web site that claimed to have unveiled the specs at 6.2" inch display when subsequent rumours claimed 6.8" inches did it as a scam to promote their site?
Clearly, either Huawei decided at the last minute to postpone the launch to gatecrash the release of Samsung Note 6 in September or as suggested it has been discontinued as a series. Lets hope I am wrong about some of the statements I am making and that some good news will emerge but for now I think all the so called tech/mobile experts have failed miserably even at rumour level.
Do we need a successor to the P8 Max? Possibly yes in an ideal world but I strongly think the developer community priority should be to start developing quality roms for this precious handset and the legacy of this device will last many years think of it as the HTC HD2 for the Phablet lovers. This way we would not even need to hope for a better model when this one almost ticks all the boxes (except the lack of IR blaster and NFC support).
Thats all that is needed for this phone/the ultimate REAL phablet.
On a separate note, I was looking to put my P8 Max DAV-701L Titanium Grey on sale if the successor was announced but I guess I have to put that thought on hold. Lets see what the future holds.
Yeah i don't get it. Many websites had the specs for the P9max. Now they all changed it to the P9 Plus. There is a big difference between 6,8 and 5,5 inch.
Also gsmarena changed it :s

I still hope the P9max comes unannounced, like the P9 Lite:

I'm also looking at the new Letv Max Pro X910 6.33-Inch. The specs looks good.

Just saw the Mate 8 in the store here. Phone looks great and front finaly in black but its 6 inch So i still need to think about it.
Looks like there will be a P9 Max after all. If this supports full LTE on T-Mobile in the US you bet i'll be buying one:

Yeah! Saw that P9 Max 6'9" screen info!
Sadly, I'm positive there be no LTE frequencies for T-Mobile..
It's just been a Huawei guarantee!
Been using in US? HSPU? How's that been for you?

I am using it with LTE enabled on the Three and Vodafone UK networks and the reception and 4G is really good (coverage dependant). Also, as I have the international model, the overall operation is really good and smooth and call drops etc I used to experience on same networks with Samsung handsets is non existent.

There will be full US LTE support, same as the Mate 8.
Hi, I believe the next big thing is a dual screen of 6.8 inch each as one phone the same size as p8 max. There was conspiricy to cover up with NEC's dual screen phone that had combined screen area smaller than p8 max's single 6.8 screen. I have said too much and endangered my own career. You need a blue tooth keyboard one in home, one in car, one in office. And the thing will be the last laptop you ever have to buy.
I hope P9 Max release...

yeap, but on ASUS Zenfone 3 Ultra microSD uses SIM 2 slot.
waiting another smartphone

Nubia N1 and PPTV M1, are they the same phone?

I'm looking for a new phone and came across these two phones that look almost identical.
They also shared the same hardwares too(not sure if 100% or not but should be pretty close)
The only different that I can think of is PPTV M1 has a led flash for front camera while Nubia N1 doesn't.
I'm guessing that PPTV M1 is OEM from ZTE.
But I just don't understand why ZTE charged us 1699 yuan for Nubia N1 when PPTV M1 is just 999 yuan.
The only thing that stop me from buying PPTV M1 now is software, question is, is it possible to use Nubia N1 International firmware on PPTV M1?
Or maybe just wait until Nubia N1 came down to reasonably price.
I don't know
I don't know but i'm agree, they seem identic and PPTV is much cheaper. Maybe Nubia UI 4.0 is more elaborated than PPOS UI 3.1 also i'm afraid PPTV is the native version for chinese people and goes with bloatware
I am also interested in this phone. it is only 126 USD now

Hi!
Any update on this?
Hi All.
please find specs below for the respective phones. (I will only mention the differences to save everybody's time)
PPTV is thicker by 0.02CM hence the volume of the phone is bigger (102.99 cm3 vs 100.73cm3).
apart from the looks, there are minute differences between the phone:
PPTV M1 supports W-CDMA bands while Nubia doesn't
Nubia comes with Marshmallow. PPTV Comes with Lollipop
Nubia's GPU is ARM Mali-T860 MP2
PPTV M1 uses PowerVR G6200
Nubia's @ 64GB
PPTV's @ 32GB
PPTV uses Sony IMX258 EXEMOR RS Sensor for the camera.
no info for Nubia
fast charging for PPTV.

Which phone is better, the honor 6x or the Blade V8 Pro?

I have an hour and a half to make my decision, no USB-C SUCKS on the Honor 6X. I am torn between each as I have not seen either phone in person. Opinions?
I think you're the same person from reddit? hehe
Honor 6X: Better build quality, slimmer design, more color options, will likely be much more popular due to the Huawei brand presence
Blade V8 Pro: Better specs on paper - USB Type C, AC/5ghz wifi, NFC, 4k video
Honor 6x have NFC and giro, and old USB mains a lot of cable and charger sitting on the tables. I have mine from a couple of days and I feel happy, long lasting battery, good reception. Camera is not top.

It has nfc? You sure? Huawei Support on Amazon.com said "No"
Honor 6x doesn't have NFC as far as I know...
I think you get Honor, since it's a bigger brand than Blade and possibly get future development support.
Personally, I would rather get the Honor 8 as it is a flagship spec device. But the Honor 6X isn't too shabby in terms of performance when compared to other devices at the same price range.

Agree with you. In China, at the same price range with 3G/32G 6X, I can get an used Nexus 5X. With 4G/64G price, I can get an used Nexus 6P. What would be your choice?

I'd still get the Honor 8 as the Kirin 950 SOC is a beast!

Quick Charge support for Honor 8

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a powerbank that will support the HiSilicon Quick Charge for Honor 8. I am unable to find one online.
Probably won't find one unless it's made by Huawei - their fast charger uses proprietary technology that has not yet been licensed to 3rd party manufacturers. But any Qualcomm QC2 or QC3 powerbank will still charge your device fairly quickly due to the higher voltage rating. Just don't expect it to 100% match Huawei's charging speeds.

Just FYI folks, there are 3 PBs so far that support HFCP (Huawei Fast Charge): Honor's own AP08Q (the one linked above), the Yaobao Q12 and the Elephone Thunder.
I have both the Honor AP08Q and the Yaobao Q12 and they both work as advertised for Fast Charging with my Honor 8. The Q12 is built out of cheap plastics and feels shoddy though, at least compared to Honor's first party solution, but it has 2 charging ports vs 1 on the AP08Q.
Theres also the anecdotal evidence that he newer gen-2 Xiaomi thin 10000mAh TYPE-C PB might support HFCP, but I only have the gen-1 model and is thus unable to confirm this.

Question Huawei p50 pro battery life

Hello, I'm considering buying the P50 pro but want to know about the battery life?
I will be buying the Chinese variant with the Kirin chipset, I've heard bad things about the snapdragon 888 so decided against it.
How's the battery life on the Kirin P50 Pro?
How's the phone temperature?
How is software update support?
