im just in about to order a nexus 5 from google store but first i want to know if that works perfect on at&t,thank you so much :good:

Yes...I took my sim card out of my galaxy s4 and dropped it into the S5 and its been working fine ever since.

I want you to know that the Nexus 5 "works perfect" on AT&T.
You will get a confirmation of this great news by going to the Specs of the phone provided by Google in its Store. It says, among other things, that it works on the GSM standard. As long as AT&T keeps using this standard your Nexus 5 will work on the AT&T network

Brand New Nexus 5 Dead Pixel

So I just bought a brand new Nexus 5 from T-Mobile and I have yet to dropped it, but I already have dead pixels on my screen. Does anyone else have this problem?

Nope, and if my phone had had dead pixels when I bought it then I would've immediately sent it back. It's one of those faults that you can't forget about or 'unsee' once you've noticed it.

I don't have that issue but I think you should get it replaced right away.

I had this on my N4. And I just checked and I have it on my N5 too. Ridiculous. I'd recommend you get it replaced mate.

My first one had a dead pixel or two. Super small but still annoying nonetheless. I got myself a replacement and all is good now in Nexus 5 land. A number of people seemed to have had this problem.. On a side note the way the black dots looked like they may have been dust under the screen instead of a dead pixel. Either way, I'd swap it out for a new one.

I am now using my fifth Nexus 5, three of the previous ones had a dead pixel. The other one had dust under the front layer of the screen...

I also have dead pixels, but actually I rarely see them.

I have seen these kind of threads pop up all over the net but without a picture. Most people trolling for attention as anyone can say they got 1 and give some type of opinion so take a pic f it with some kind of proof you have it in hand or it never happened.

What is the battery like? I know you have just got it so will be hard to say straight away.

One more question about the volume warning. Is it a constant nag with the headphones or Bluetooth or does it only remind you once like the Pixel and then goes away? Also, US Version?

HELP please, Pixel screen completely bugged out!

I was playing Puzzles and Dragons and all of a sudden the screen when partially block partially completely messed up. the screen is all colorful pixely. it's unlocked but not rooted, when i try to boot it into recovery mode the screen is not centered, colors are off, and i can't see what i'm doing. I can get into bootloader mode and that looks normal but that's ALL i can do. what do i do about this??? is my phone a goner????
UPDATE i just tried to get into recovery mode again and it said it FAILED to get into recovery mode

Trade it in for the Pixel 2.

trade it in? but i've only had it for less than a year. and does google even have a trade in option for the original pixel? i don't think i can afford the new one. nearly 1000$ for that thing. it's not worth that much. i just want my phone to work agian.

I was just being facetious. I know it's quite disheartening how all of a sudden every Pixel and xl have gone to pot. Scanner not working, battery life, etc. I don't know what I'm going to do either. But I don't like the options. Trade in for the XL and Pixel are too good. I'm going to let this play out for now. Not thrilled whatsoever.

It's for the Google store not the play store. You can only use the credit for physical items. I wish it could be used for apps, movies, and stuff.

Unfortunately it's only good till the end of August before the pixel 4 comes out. They thought of everything to make this credit not very useful lol. ?

I put my 150CAD credit towards a Google Home Max which recently had a price drop to 400 and was on sale for 300 so in the end it cost me 150 or around 115USD.

What $100 credit? Is it only for brand new devices just purchased? Or how does one come about getting this credit?
Edit: devices purchased before May 18 (quick Google search).

Spending the $100 credit on another Pixel 3a seems to get you the most value... but I don't want another pixel. Google store sucks.

I agree, there really is not anything that I can use. There products are way over priced.
I do not need any Nest junk, because I use Amazon echo. I did like some the head phones, but of course they are out of stock.
