New to this but in need of help with missing mobile network on Galaxy S6 ATT - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I'm new the flashing custom ROMs to phones but very willing to learn. I just need some guidance please. I Used Odin to flash [[G920A]] Full Stock Odin Nougat 7.0 G920AUCS6EQG1 found here on this website.
The issue I'm having now is that I can't connect to my mobile AT&T network. Everything seems to be working without issue other than the mobile connection. I don't even have the option to set it up manually. It's a Galaxy S6 SM-G920A. Can somebody please provide me some direction to start? My baseband is unknown and it doesn't show my IMEI number. However, when I was running Odin, it would fail at sboot.bin but if I removed the BL file than it would complete without issue. Could this be the problem?

[Completed] Basic questions about installing a ROM on a Note 3

First, I have installed a ROM on my phone before and I followed very specific instructions. I am a developer in the land of microsoft so I recognize I am very much a newbie here.
Now, on to what I have now and what I want to do.
1. I have a Note 3. The SM-N9005. The baseband version is: N900W8.... suffice to say it is a canadian phone. If the rest of the baseband numbers are important I will post them, just ask.
2. I want to install the Alliance ROM, it seems to have what I am looking for.
3. When I rooted and ROMed my phone years ago I used the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2614772
4. Currently my phone is running a Jedi ROM from the vintage of that thread. However I must have made a mistake back then because the Hotspot feature does not work. Making the hotspot feature work again is my primary reason for undertaking this operation. The 4G works, I can use the Internet on the phone just fine. The wireless works I can connect to a wireless signal and use the internet that way (with mobile data off). The hotspot will allow a connection, but no data passes between the 4G (with Mobile Data On) connection and the connected computer. I have tried this with multiple computers to confirm its not the computers fault.
Back when I did this before I had to be careful to get the right CSC file and modem file and a few other steps.
With that background, my questions are below (if you need any more info to point me in the right direction, just ask):
Do I need to worry about CSC files, modem files and so on to Flash to Alliance ROM and still have everything work? I ran across a thread that said that some ROMs have all the CSC files in them, but I cannot find any direct information (or I missed it) about the Alliance ROM with regards to CSC files and the like.
I have TWRP installed on the phone and was planning to use that.. that install of TWRP is over 2 years old is there an update to TWRP that I should do or would it still work since it worked last time?
Last, but not least, the instructions say that if I am not installing from stock 4.4.2 or stock 5.0 that I should install stock first, then install the alliance rom. I visited the sammobile website and there are no ROMs for the USA or Canada there... am I missing something or should I just use the UK ROM from that website?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me on this endeavour.

Failing to flash stock firmware.

As title says I am having trouble flashing original stock firmware onto my phone.
The model number is: SM-G920F.
I originally installed a rom which caused my phone to lose it's baseband. I then tried to flash a stock firmware and it didn't work. In ODIN it just fails instantly.
I noticed that in download mode it says that the "product name is: SM-G920P" however.
So I flashed the G920P instead which got it working back to normal.
The only problem is I don't live in the US. I live the UK. The firmware is rejecting my sim card.
I want to flash the G920F and am having some trouble. If anyone could help I would appreciate it if someone could talk me through this.
I have looked around the forums etc and I haven't seen a solution to my problem.
Thanks in advance.
You've got a CDMA version of the S6, as far as I know, no UK carrier uses CDMA, they use GSM, so you're out of luck if you want to get it to work in the UK.

How to convert stock firmware from SM-N920G to SM-N920P

I have Note 5 (SM-N920P) for Sprint, which is came with a limited set of languages,
I added more languages by modifying the language.xml but nothing happened then I realized that the whole system is stripped from all other languages,
I disabled the dm-verity as well but a red line is showing after booting (Kernel SElinux is not set to Enforcing) and the phone is stuck at Samsung logo,
What I need is to convert a stock firmware from another Note 5 with multi-languages and to disable dm-verity,
I found someone who already did it in the link below but he doesn't want to share it or sell it to anyone except repair shops,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qep7fkDq9Zk
So I chose to convert N920GUBS3BQB1 6.0.1 for SM-N920G to N920PVPS3BQB1 6.0.1 for SM-N920P as they share the same base build,
I set everything up in order to do so,
I would be grateful if someone could provide me with instructions on how to do that and I really want to learn how to do so as well,
Many thanks in advance
Update
After downloading the full firmware for SM-N920P and SM-N920G,
I extracted SM-N920P and replaced the boot.img with a modified one that has dm-verity disabled (for that I chose Aurora kernel), cache.img and the system.img for SM-N920G,
I repacked the firmware using cityradar's tool (Thanks to him you can find in the link https://forum.xda-developers.com/s6-edge-plus/general/tool-tools-file-extraction-img-tar-md5-t3236605 ),
I flashed it with odin and the phone booted successfully and everything is working fine except there is no baseband,
Then I replaced the modem for SM-N920P with the one for SM-N920G and re-flashed but it failed because the security check for the radio file,
Now the only thing remains is how to disable the secure download in download mode or to modified the modem.bin and make it bypass the security check,
I would appreciate if someone could help with this matter,
I will be awaiting for your replies
try reflashing the modem.bin for the n920p

Thank you for the reply,
I already did that from the start that's why there is no baseband,
If you check the youtube link in the first post you will see that the guy flashed the modem for the SM-N920C into SM-N920P,
So we need to modify the modem.bin to bypass the security check
Let's proceed to plan B as I feel that the expert in xda are not here anymore,
Let's port the firmware (app, priv-app and everything related to them only) from SM-N920G to SM-N920P,
Everything is set up with the latest tools from xda (deodexing, modifying and repacking) in both Windows and Linux,
I searched the forum but I couldn't find a thread about porting from-to the same model,
I would be grateful if someone could advise me on how to do that,
Your replies are appreciated
aren't bin files just containers? have you tried extracting the files from the modem.bin? and opening some of the contents in a text editor?
did u accomplish i had tried too i was falied !!!!!!!!!
I have sprint N920P. But there are some problems,
1. no hotspot available
2. some network activation crap when turn on phone
I want to convert it to N920G. How can I do that ? (If possible).
I have another question, If I do something wrong and at the end, flash N920P stock rom, will my phone carrier locked? I don't know how this network unlocking works. Is it on device software or on network side. ?
Thanks
I have file to change the model from n920p to n920c.
I have file and tutorial.
I bought Note 5(n920P) from Honk Kong and I couldn't use it in UK.
I paid for this file and now I have in phone description n920C, no sprint activation, active hotspot and what was most important for me 4G network.
If you are interested write me please.

Can't connect to any cellular network anymore SM-G920F

Hello, I can't connect to my local mobile network anymore.
So I can't call or receive phone calls.
I am in Latvia, Baltic region.
My imei is legit and working, so is my phone number.
When I search for my mobile network it finds it -LV TELE2, easy, but when I attempt to connect to it, it shows it 'can't connect to this network try later', when of course the network is working properly for other phones., and it is the network that worked before.
I happened after I flashed a custom lineage rom. It was the right rom for my device,
and I flashed it in correct order and all worked except mobile networks.
I thought using odin to flash back the stock rom will fix it, but it didn't.
Now I am back to stock 7.0 , flashed csc SEB version for my region.
Now in mobile networks there is only Lte/2g/3g options, why there is no gsm or vcdma mobile service?
I believe my provider is gsm, so how to restore it so I could call again?
It shows no service in the drawer, and can't connect to my carrier.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you ^_^)/
Had same problem after my motherboard was changed in some mobile repair shop and old imei and stuff copied from old motherboard. After flashing stock 7.0 with ODIN, I had same problem. Luckily repair guy added some certs back free of charge. Something to do with not being official Samsung repair place and not having right kind of tool.
Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Thank you for your info. Then it must be possible to fix it with the right tools even at home! I am sure there must be someone who knows how to do it and can help me, and many others with the same problem.
When you tap *#0011# imei status is OK or NG?
Hello, I typed *#0011# and yes imei status is ok, more info - rat=gsm (2g), band=pgsm900 and reg status is = not registered.
So this couldn't be an imei problem, could it?
During this time, I tried many roms, nougat and marshmallow, official and custom, but none has fixed it yet.
I was thinking, flashing original galaxy s6 lollipop rom will definitely do the trick,
because I remember I had a similar problem with my old galaxy s plus phone,
it was impossible to connect to any mobile network on any rom,
until I flashed the oldest stock rom for the device.
But the problem is, I can't find a working download for a custom lollipop rom, they are extinct it seems,
and the official lollipop rom can't be flashed with odin, obviously, because I have a higher fw already.
Official lollipop would be the best and would show if the problem is software related for once and for all,
but how to install it when knox and all kinds of binaries doesn't allow me to flash it with odin?
Is there another way to do it?
No need for this anymore, never solved the issue.
I sold the phone.
Thanks anyways ^-^)/

[HELP] Missing IMEI and Baseband on a Network Locked SM-S337TL

Hello guys,
I have been stuck in this for about a week now. Have read tons and gone through a bunch of videos but still stuck. I will greatly appreciate any help.
I was trying to unlock a Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro SM-S337TL (GP) Tracfone.
Downloaded and flashed the combination file using odin but after booting into the binary it show:
CP Crash
Upload Mode
Secure NV read decrypt fail.
Because of this I am unable to complete the network unlock. After several trials I flashed the 4files and got back into the phone, to discover the IMEI and Baseband are gone.
I have tried to download and flash many versions of the Stock ROM for model and even used KIES to find the corresponding Firmware version using the Serial number, but I can't seem to get them back.
I didn't backup before I started. Big MISTAKE.
How do I fix the device to be be unlocked and get the IMEI and Baseband back? One step at a time please.
