Hey guys....so i just tried out wifi calling, but every time i called my s6 from my landline i get a busy tone. And the second i switch off wifi calling incoming calls work again. Anyone know how to fix this?
On normal calling every time i call someone they tell me i sound muffled or stuttery, or that i sound 'tinny' (whatever that means)...so i wanted to try the wifi calling but i can't even get that to work.
I am using Stock Cyanogen OS 12.1 YOG4PAS1N0, Build Number - LMY48B with T-Mobile.
I am facing a weird issue where I cannot receive any call. The call directly goes to voicemail after a couple of rings. There is no notification of the call at all on the device. I can make a call and send/receive texts. I can also connect to 4G and Wi-Fi. Everything else also seems to work fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA
Hello all,
I am making this thread because I am having a really strange and frustrating issue that I am hoping can be solved before I am forced to get rid of my phone. I have a factory unlocked SM-G955U running the most current stock software. Basically my issue is my phone randomly mutes my mic during outgoing calls. I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Sometimes all I have to do is hang up and call back to fix the issue. Other times, the only way for me to fix the issue is for me to restart my phone. Strangely if I hang up and the other person calls ME back, then the problem is instantly solved. I thought this was limited to actual phone calls, but I had the same issue happen today with and outgoing Whatsapp call as well. I can confirm the problem is 100% isolated to OUTGOING calls and has no effect on incoming calls. I would have to assume this issue is software related and not hardware related given the fact this is only happening randomly on outgoing calls and has never once happened on incoming calls.
Ive done all of the basic troubleshooting and even removed my ultra thin phone case with no change in results.
Any help would be much appreciated thanks!
I have been experiencing incoming call issues. Also outgoing call issues but not as frequent.
Incoming calls while on Android 10 are silent. I cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear me. If I enable speaker phone I hear them and they hear me fine, I then can disable speaker phone back to the ear piece and all is normal again. I am not sure if this is for carrier specific incoming calls or just a sw bug or both...
Outgoing call issue has happened a couple times. In this circumstance I made a call put it on speaker phone. It was on speaker for a while the call was fine I could hear everything so I muted my side until I needed to speak. When I un-muted they could not hear me. I took it off speaker while un-muted and still nobody could hear me. I had to hang up and switch sim cards back to my V30+ because of this issue.
I have yet to test other dialers or phone apps, to see what might be happening here. Anyone have any suggestions to check logs or is there a way to get to a service menu to troubleshoot?
Hello there, after update to 12.5.2.0 OTA update, phone is not able making calls - contact choosen phone start make call, but immediately call canceled, people complaints, it is not available reach me, phone is looking like turned off... no outgoing and not incoming calls, but this is happend randomly, 3-5 hours not able to start calls, or get incoming calls, next time is working properly, 2 day all fine, 3-th day no outgoing or incoming calls. very dissapointed with phone behaviour... anyone have same problem? anybody is ready to help me? I have this too, but have scheduled the phone to power off and on at the beginning of each day. That seems to be a workaround for now but I hope the next update for MIUI will fix it.
I have the same issue, 13.0.4 miui and 12 android.
