I've actually been wanting the same thing for my Xoom, but all I need is to be able it see and send messages, share websites from phone to tablet and vice versa, over with preferably.
If your phone is rooted, try Webkey:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.webkey&feature=search_result
You install it on your phone, and then you can access your phone from any web browser, like your transformer

+1, I couldn't remember the name of it until you posted .
It's still in beta, and you need to be rooted, but it may work for your phone. You'll just have to get a vnc viewer on your transformer to use it.

Awesome...works perfectly!
If you have problems with vnc servers, whether your device is rooted or NOT, you can now try our new app, VMLite VNC Server, which allows you to view and control any android devices using vnc viewers or browser, rooting is NOT required.

Just downloaded this, amazing app!!
You could also try Airdroid. Put Airdroid on the phone and go to the IP it lists on the tablet's browser.

[Q] Data sync between Android Phone and Android Tablet

Hi Guys/Gals
I Ave a question regarding sync data between phone and tablet. I have a galaxy s2 and galaxy tab 10.1 and I use them both for work in terms of documents etc.... I use the tablet mainly for working with documents, emails, photos etc... and the phone mostly as a means to access said mentioned data quickly and easily when travelling or on the go when I don't have my tablet to hand.
My question is, would it be possible for both devices to contain the same config with same apps, data profile etc....? What I mean is like a laptop and a desktop having the same user profile same home screen or desktop and then have documents sync'd across both devices maybe using combo of drop box or box.
I know it sounds crazy but I think this will be something that windows 8 will support using windows live id as a profile login and stored in the cloud so when you logon to the upcoming windows phone 8 or a windows 8 tablet and a desktop..... in theory they would all be a replica of each other, a neat concept I think.
Comments or suggestions most welcome.
Thanks

[REQ] Best app to get on a pc screen a real time image of my android device

In order to run demos and project (for large audiences) what appears on the screen of my Nexus S, I'm looking for the best app (not necessarily free) able to do that via USB or WiFi.
Have you addressed the same need in the past?
Any suggestion?
Thanks
P.S. Being able to do that without installing any special software on the pc would be a plus
VNC. e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476648
Look at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tigoliproductions.phoneprojector
Webkey https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webkey&hl=en
runs on your pc browser

Chromebox and development xda ect.

hi all, i just bought a chromebox and am planning to ditch windows as my house is now the full google ecosystem, what i was wondering was will i still be able to connect my phone and use adb and toolkits for my phone and tablet ect. is there possibly an app for the chromebox where i can install windows in a virtual machine and use it when necessary. any help or opinions ect ect would be great thanks
I do not think there is currently a way to do that due to chrome OS does not run apps like windows. However if you want windows for a long time on your computer you can switch the switch inside your chromebox to developer mode and edit chrome to do that or install windows. I hope I helped

windows appstore download issue

hey all, I use my nexus 5 as a hotspot for my windows tablet. when im connected to be nexus 5s wifi I cant download any apps from the windows app store. but every other data related program on the tablet works fine. now if im connected to a traditional wifi router then the appstore will download the apps. I have been on the phone with Microsoft tech support for over 2 hours trying to trouble shoot the issue. They even logged on via remote desktop and still could not find a solution. so this is my last ditch effort to solve this problem.. bring up to the great minds of XDA.
I am using windows 8.1 non rt
Odd one.
Any add blocking / altered hosts files on your Nexus?
Only thing I can think of.
May be your account is not update..
