I'd like to know the cutoff date too. I just decided I want a Pixel XL, but would like to get the Daydream deal too.
Pre order mean before it was released.
So anything after October 20 isn't eligible for the free daydream.
Well i got on the waiting list before oct 20, but couldnt order will after the 20th becuase they were out of stock. Hmmm

Hey guys, there shouldn't be any guessing here.
If you're eligible, you'd know it already because you should've received an email from Google saying so.
I pre-ordered my Pixel XL 128GB on 10/4 and received the email below on 10/6. They shipped the phone on 10/21.
AND I still haven't got the promo code yet. Four weeks after they shipped my phone is 11/18.

So if you worried about not getting a code, maybe double check with support.
I'm kinda upset I was not allowed to change my order (despite my order sitting at Pre-Ordered status for 1+ month) from Silver to Black, and the only way to do it was to cancel and re-order and lose my Daydream VR.
Oh well.

I received the free Daydream code email too. I ordered launch date Oct 20 at 10:25am pacific time 1 minute after the end of the presentation and received code today at 9pm pacific time Nov 14 or 3 weeks and 4 days after launch date.
My wife and I just received ours!

My understanding is it needs to be on the website for full price. But it does not hurt to submit a claim
I am still waiting to get my code,.. it is not fast turn over

They are VERY slow releasing code. Probably will be December or longer before most people get theirs
I waited a week then I inqueried them with fb because I don't know the status . They told me I cannot get a coupon since mine was bought with the dropped price. That is because the phone arrives after one month and activate it too late. I shown my ordered receipt then finally received the code.
Hope release ocean color ASAP ...

The refferal links from OnePlus only work when purchasing a phone you get $20 off an accessory you cant use it as just a promo code for the case alone
