Ok, I have seen many posts about this model and how to unlock it if it's only SIM locked but no one has yet decided to give us a program to generate the unlock code. I have started this thread maybe someone will finally post the app to generate the code by imei as I have seen on another post for the Touch model.
I am willing to donate money for the guy's work but I have to decide how much if it works.
This forum tries as I have seen to offer free stuff for people, but with the unlocking tools, simple unlocking tools no one wants to share.
Please is there is someone who wants to share his program to generate the unlocking codes, post it here.

Nop thaks, I ain't gonna pay 20 euros for a **** code, or wait a month until ebay code arrives in my country. I will somehow find a way to read the code from the phone and when I do I will freely give the program to anyone, I am not that despicable and money sick to ask cash for such a software. It cost's about 50$ to buy a mxkey or Axebox if I would want to make money from phone unlocking...but again I will find a solution and post it as open source for anyone...

I really appreciate all the work the devs here put into this device. Without you this would have been an instant return. That being said I can't let myself gamble beyond the 30 day return window with $400. My loss is your gain however as there is now a freshly clearanced gtablet at the Sears store in Chillicothe Ohio. Get it while its hot! I will continue to monitor this forum and I hope one day to see the source code get released for this device as it has a lot of potential. I have an Invite code but I never got around to using Ingress, won't give up the original but If I can invite you guys I will.. Let me sign into the app and see how to invite.. For free.. Flashing a new Rom so I'll get back to you guys by tomorrow on it..

I think its very easy to "scam" someone with trading for a invite since you're giving up a tablet. And chances are if they have a extra invite, then it would be expired by the time the tablet arrived.
So neither sides would feel very secure making the trade, thats just my two cents.

Understood, I would be willing to send the tablet first and once received, the other party could send the invite. I may have too much trust but I consider most of the XDA community to be very trustworthy, in my experiences. :cyclops:

Me donate the invite? If I had one to donate I would be donating them left and right as I got them to fellow XDA'ers/OPO'ers (w/o devices ofc), although I am actually looking for one myself. In regards to trading the tablet and the insecurities someone may have, I would be happy to pack it up and send it via UPS and provide tracking information and pictures immediately or whatever the generous donator asked as I know the invites only last 3 days(?) and then 24 hours once given out. Just an idea. I was just hoping I would be able to purchase one by now so I did not become a member of the OPO community until very recently which I unfortunately assume sets me back quite a ways. Anyways, thanks for the information and I shall be on my way with my fingers crossed

There's people on eBay selling invites for as low as $40 that's how I got my OPO, considering what people are selling them for it was a deal. I would consider that route.

My understanding is it needs to be on the website for full price. But it does not hurt to submit a claim

They are VERY slow releasing code. Probably will be December or longer before most people get theirs
I waited a week then I inqueried them with fb because I don't know the status . They told me I cannot get a coupon since mine was bought with the dropped price. That is because the phone arrives after one month and activate it too late. I shown my ordered receipt then finally received the code.
Hope release ocean color ASAP ...
