Someone made a comparison for Pixel 3 between US Google Store and SG (Singapore) google store, the spec difference between these two sites for Pixel 3 will be the US version of Pixel 3 will not have:
UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8
Will this affects the user as malaysia (like i am) operator still using HSPA+ frequency?

Does the relay have a 900 mhz band for 3g ?
In my country we don't use 850 mhz for hdpda (3g), the droid 4 uses this band (but is more expenive) , but how about the relay 4g ?
wikipedia isn't straight:
UMTS bands I (UMTS 2100), II (1900), IV (1700/2100/AWS), and V (850) are supported
and
3G UMTS/HSPA+ – 850, 900, 1,700, 1,900, 2,100 MHz

It doesn't look like the relay supports 900mhz 3g. You would be probably limited to 2g EDGE on 900mhz.

Proximus deploys both band 1 and band 8: http://www.wireless.att.com/travelguide/coverage/coverage_details.jsp?CIDL=56&MNC=CING
I always thought most places if there's band 8 there's band 1, rarely seen band 8 alone.
Hi, I need help. I am going to purchase Moto G from California, USA. But I am confused about two available version. I want to use in my home county India. Which version should I buy. I have checked play store USA site, where I found that it is for local carrier and if I buy from Amazon then there is a global gsm version. Please advise me....
Please.
I believe you need to buy global gsm version
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
The Google Play edition is said to be the Global GSM version, which should work in India. So it's up to you really. Whether you want 100% stock android from the Google Play version. Or stock android with some Motorola features added in.

From the US Google Play site tech specs for GPE:
Unlocked GSM/UMTS/HSPA+
GSM/EDGE/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
Motorola's site specs:
Global GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
US GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz)
If that helps clear things up.
My gf has the Moto G 2013 (1st Edition) Global GSM xt1032. Will it work in Japan?
Here are the specs from Motorola's website:
Global GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
Requires a microSIM card (not included)
GSMareana.com claims Japan supports the following frequencies:
JAPAN
2G capabilities
3G capabilities : UMTS 800, UMTS 900, UMTS 1500, UMTS 1700, UMTS 2100
4G capabilities : LTE 850, LTE 1500, LTE 1800, LTE 2100, LTE 2500
It would appear Japan supports UMTS 900 and 2100 which the xt1032 supports so 3g should work, but I don't know if I am doing this right so I would like confirmation.
Thank you!
I've used mine with no issues for around 5months! I believe Japan uses UMTS 2100.
However, you will probably not be able to use the special mobile email that Japanese networks use.

Thanks

is there differences in band support? Im from brazil
I bought my 5T and flashed it from H2OS to OOS using local upgrade, no problem.
Seems OP7 supports all frequency bands in Brazil. But you should check with your carrier before getting it.
