Hey guys, I was wondering why Snapchat doesn't work on my phone, I had it rooted, unrooted it to try to get it to work, still didn't work, I've tried alot of different things at this point and don't know what to do, the phone is rooted again but it's incapable of going into twrp so I can't do anything with recovery like unrooting or flashing
Hi.
You have to flash stock rom via flastool than install snapchat and than, but only when youre loging into snapchat, root the Phone
Use magisk.

Hello,
Until today, I was using the v18 of the Omega ROM on my Galaxy Note 2 and today I installed the v26. But the Wifi was bugging, so I tried to flash the fix from CWM. I didn't manage because it didn't find the file and when I quitted CWM, my root has been disabled. Since that, I don't manage to root it again, I have done like many tutos but each time, even if the software like Odin was telling me it was OK, when I launched SuperSU, it tells me that no SU Binaries is installed. I have tried to uninstall/reinstall, I have also tried with Framaroot, but it tells me to try with another exploit, but there is only one...
I don't know what to do, I can't back up my folders and apps with titanium backup without root... Do you have a solution ?
EDIT : I have installed again CWM recovery, and then the Omega ROM. And everything is good now.
Hey everyone!
I broke my Nexus 4 a few days ago, so as a replacement went with the Moto G, loving the little thing.
However, now i am running into some problems. I installed CWM and rooted it, without flashing any custom rom. Then Moto asked if i wanted a system update, so i downloaded it, but it cant install. Every time it reboots during installation, it goes to CWM, which asks if i want to install the update package. When i click yes, it fails, saying there was an error, tells me i probably lost root and reboots. After reboot, moto tries to install the update again, and the circle keeps going.
So now a few questions.
Im coming from a nexus, which is very root friendly, so please be patient with me
1. can a rooted device receive updates at all?
2. Is it possible to keep root but reinstall the factory bootloader? (seeing as this is the problem, it would fix it right? I dont want to install custom roms, i just want root for added control with tasker etc.)
Any help greatly appreciated
Blucose
In rooted device, you will get updates but you can't install it if you using custom recovery..
As per my knowledge you can relock the bootloader but you will not get the warranty back..
Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Do you have a source you trust that i could get the locked bootloader from?
As far as I know, If you use either stock or philz recovery you can still install OTA updates and keep root.
OK first off this is my gfs phone, I had rooted it using Kingroot with no problem. I flashed a custom ROM I used cynogen 12.1 and also flashed a synthetic v3 kernel. Her phone was working just fine until she let some know it all at her work mess with it! I was wondering why the hell I couldn't get into recovery thru my twrp. I have to manually do it now. Even then everything I try to do it says it fails. So I can't back it up at all. Nor flash the old stock KitKat THST it originally came with. Her screen has been blacking out to every since that dumbass friend of hers downloaded pimp my rom. He had no clue wtf he was doing. Now thru that app it allows me to delete all added **** he did to it. But somehow her phone lost her permanent root!!?? Beats me, but it explains why I can't use device control anymore. And why I can't wipe the cache to the dalvik machine. I can't flash any roms, I can't do ****. I tried using kingroot but no work! It worked on my 4th try last time but I was using her stock Android 4.44 KitKat rom. I recall reading somewhere that kingroot doesn't support lollipop 5.2 which is what I put on her phone using Cynogen 12.1!!! So basically if I can't gain access to permanently root her phone I won't be able to fix it at all! Which is bs! Van anyone help me? I manually go into recovery mode it won't even let me do a factory reset. No matter what I do it keeps saying Fail!!! I'm growing very impatient, I need to fix her phone asap. I'd appreciate it if any of you guys can help me out please. Thank you for your time...hope someone helps me.

You need to use the latest.. I repeat the latest version of Odin and also the stock firmware for your region which has all the parts AP/BL/CP/CSC, flash it and your phone will work again and no you can't reset knox if it has been tripped.
So ive been rooted since this phone came out like 2 years ago, but without recovery. Its my first android without twrp lol and it sucks bc if i ever bootloop i just have to factory reset. Thats the reason why i haven't been using xposed. When i try to install twrp in the rom flashing process its frustrating bc you cant get into recovery without a usb connected or some dumb issue. And its hard after the phone restarts, i cant get into recovery. Is there another way to install Twrp on N9860? Like this is the only phone like this, where you need a usb connected to enter recovery, they messed it up on a bootloader update i think. Anyway helping me is much appreciated. Also if i can get twrp on my phone, whats the best way to installing edxposed, or lsposed. Taichi is kind of a hassle
