here's a method too remove red developer options red banner in notification area ? - Vivo Nex Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi guys just got my vivo nex today and loving it, I found a method a few months ago on my vivo V9 to remove the red ugly banner in the status bar which allows you to keep developer options still running with no issues , so now we can change our animation speeds and what not..
Step one..
Switch on developer options.
Step two..
Navigate to more settings then applications then all.
Step three..
Scroll down to vivo service and select it .
Step four..
Press storage then Clear storage inside vivo service .
The red notification should be gone now and if you go back into developer options it will still be enabled.
The only thing is if you switch your phone off you will have to repeat the process, (my phone never sleeps ? ,
but hey it works, sorry if this is known by the masses but I've had a few people ask so I thought I'd put it up, stay free :silly:

Yea, this worked for me. Thanks for the trick.

thanks this is a very good find... This is better way then having a 3rd party app like autonotification installed. I do not reboot my device that often either so I am willing to live with this...
With apps like tasker etc I am sure you can do this automatically if you use it ?
For me its irritating but not a big problem. But this is still retarded to this from Vivo... The funny thing is... the logo say... the phone will have more stutter but when I change the animation speed to 0.5x the whole device feels twice as fast so its just stupid..

Tested working fine, Thanks

Wonderfully working. Thanks Friend.

working on nex a good tip thanks

Auto notification app is your friend.
No matter how many time restart your phone you'll never see red status bar indicator(i'm using it almost 7 months and do its job excellent)
Keep in mind you have to allow all permission to app(auto start- run background etc)and white list from battery optimization.

For the Chinese model set, I have turned off iMusic online music service under the Built-in Apps Management.
However, each time I launch iMusic, there is still notification prompting to enable the online music service.
I have tried adding iMusic to the list of apps for blocking by AutoNotifcation, however I still get the notification. Anything I missed?

I've completely uninstalled stock music app day one as its garbage compared to Power Amp or Player Pro so I can't tell what's going on

No you won't need doing this but in order not give every time restart phone notification permission you just need to activate app to startup menu.

[APP] Smart lockscreen protector

Hi all i made an app to avoid unwanted people can power off, teh device (or put in airplane, mute ot reboot) , this from lockscreen.
if you hold power button a power menu will show, so even with any password everyone can turn off the device. if you have apps like Cerberus for tracking, any thieve can turn off the device, so this app can avoid or at least make difficult turn off the device and works better for non removable batteries (i know you can use hardware buttons, but not everyone knows this).
So my app block the long press power button and close "power menu options", only when you are in lockscreen, you can use in other circumstances. its battery friendly
No need root, but if you want use a custom menu, you will need for reboot y power off only.
Any issue please let me know, if you like my app please give me 5 stars, any issue please contact me before leave a bad feedback or 1 star.

Hi folks. Works on 5.0? actually doesn´t work for me. 5.0 LG G3 D855P + Root. =( Thanks from Brazil dev!
Hello dev, i bought the premium version and i am loving this app, really useful
I saw today (06/10) that it's been updated to v2.1 and before i update i read the description where it says: "removed optional Notification(sorry it will be always on to prevent stop working)"
It works fine for me the way it is right now (marshmallow 6.0.1 on rooted galaxy s7 flat) and i absolutely hate having a persistent notification up there, but i am willing to try and see whats happens, but just in case i don't like it, where can i download the previous version of the apk (2.0 i'm guessing)?
Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Cool idea! I'll try to use it
Thanks for your app, which I had purchased. It fully worked on stock Android 7.1.2 on the Google Pixel for blocking both the power dialog and status bar from being pulled down. On the final Android 8.0 on the Pixel, it still works for the power dialog but doesn't block the status bar from being pulled down on the lockscreen.
I hope you would consider updating your app to make it work again for that part. I would absolutely donate another $1 to have that feature again.
Thanks!

Problem resolved!
I have the Xperia L from 1 week ago, and had the same problem, the first notification was the data traffic and i could not use the advanced notification features of JB (On JB and depending on the app, the first notification have extra features like reply an e-mail, ) here is my low tech solution, no root needed!:
Press and hold the notification, a submenu will appear "application information" click it, it opens the App info for Telephone app, force stop it using the first button on the screen and the notification will be gone!
First i was skeptical because of the force closed app name "Telephone", but it only removes the notification, i'm still able to use the phone as it was before, calling, texting, browsing, wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc.
When the phone is restarted you will have to do it again.
Hope this helps.

Put the attached file in the "/system/vendor/overlay" folder with any root explorer and set the permissions to "rw-r--r--". Then restart the phone.
Data notifications enabled / disabled should not reappear.
To do this you must be root.

Thx for answering! I try, but on the app info screen I can't untick, because it' greyed out... Any other solution or script, like disable data traffic notification...

App Optimization notification is annoying!

It pops up once every couple days and just won't stop, even after adjusting the app optimization settings. Just keeps informing me of a feature I'm fully aware of. Anyway to stop this?
You can go to app notification option by pull down your notification bar and long press on the apps and turn on "block notifications"
What does it want from me?! Is there a setting, besides shutting it off, to disable that?
Oh nice!
I always forget about that feature, thanks!

No, I want the optimization feature active. I DON'T want the notification every 2 days. It keeps reminding me about the optimization feature as if I've never touched it. That on off you're talking about turns the whole feature on and off.
Briankbl is right, long pressing the notification does not give the option to disable the notification like most other apps. I've also been wanting to know a way to disable the notifications without disabling the feature. It's annoying for me too!
You can only hide the lockscreen notifications. Hopefully, at receiving Taskbar notifications every other day, it'll only be 10 or 20 more notifications before we OTA to 6.0 and don't have to deal with it anymore lol.
Any idea if this *beeping* notification is actually still active in 6.0? Or are we just hoping it goes away...because it's aggravating. So very, very aggravating...

Whatever - this only started impacting some users 2 days ago, so these other threads have not addressed the issue or closed it yet. (Yes, this is a dev. forum not a user forum.)
I take it, the notifications cannot be disabled without disabling the entire process.

hmmmm what do you think I was responding too because your answer to me makes no sense. but OK... Have a good day
It's been pissing me off as well, along with the daily volume notification that leaves me on my motorcycle every day wondering why my bluetooth headset is silent. So is this Samsung's meddling again, or is it Google this time?
I have the same issue. Since the last update on my Galaxy S4 (GT-I9515). The notification every few days is annoying as hell.
So annoying!!!
I threw my phone against the wall and smashed it because of that stupid annoying notification.
(Well not really but I feel like it)
I finally just turned that stupid feature off. It's not worth the annoyance.

you are in qatar how did you order yours?
I watched this review about the NEX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9Bn6-BEZJY
It mentioned this: "The NEX refuses to let you change the default launcher without having a VIVO account, which you need a Chinese telephone number for..."
I was annoyed about this, because I think it's a limitation and I use myself NOVA launcher, and it's one of the first apps I install when setting up a device from scratch. So I contacted the shop in China where I ordered my NEX, and asked if it is true about this VIVO account thing, and also asked them if eventually they could set up an account for me, that I could use once I get my NEX. They answered: "hi, it's not true, the vivo account only for China area, it's no use in other countries." Not only I think it's great I received a reply within 24 hours (they have to sleep also, don't they? ) but I'm reassured about the question I had.
Makes me look forward even more to my NEX...

dont want to root the phone. want out of the box way to get simple GAPPS working.
It is easy to install Google, just download from Vivo app store. I think Google framework is preinstalled. If tou want to change laucher you have to go to security section to allow the change of default launcher. Otherwise it will return to Funtouch once you press the hone button.
The third party apps can be unnstalled and yes, there are still Chinese inside some of the items in the setup menu, most of them being hints and tips etc.
When fresh out of the box, my lock screen showed a random picture every time i switched it on. After playing around with some wallpaper settings, I lost that random showing of pictures. I can't figure out what the settings are to get back to the random lockscreen wallpapers. Does anybody have an idea?
You have 2 default lockscreen and you have to switch between them to have back the random feature. Of course you need to have the lockscreen poster option enabled.
Did you setup your wallpaper to appear on the lock screen? Also, check settings to see if you have turned off "lock sreen poster"

It's not there, you have to go in "style of lockscreen". It's the 3rd menu, then you switch to the right one, go out and switch back to the left one and the poster are back.

When bringing up the control panel with a swipe from the bottom (left or right) there is a row of apps which are running on the device. You can close them by swiping them upwards one by one off the panel. Is there a way to close them all with one swipe or tap while staying on the control panel?

Charge battery notification & Sound

Hi everyone, my OnePlus7Pro suffers from the lack of an audible warning when charging and when it is removed from the charge when the phone is " on " it has no message or sound when the battery is 100% charged. For this I have created a simple Apk with tasker to install without root permissions on all OnePlus7Pro that solve this lack. It should work even when the screen is off . If you want to try it, you are free to do so. There is a button in the menu to disable the popup service and the sound but the notification is always running to work. The only permission to give is "storage". Tell me if it consumes a lot of battery and is worth keeping it installed. My goal is to "share" this simple solution with some users who know no solutions .. Consider it a test for now.
Updating 14/07/2019 :
Try this new version. I changed the skin of the popup. I added the vibration . I added the button to activate only the acoustic notification without the popup but only when it is charged and removed from the charge.
Updating new version Full 1.0 / Full.57.apk

This is a much more complete version. The recharge sound is present when the power is turned on and when it comes off. There is popup, sound, I added the LEDs to the screen off. I added the possibility of using the desired profile on 4 different profiles, the possibility of disabling all the LEDs and all the profiles in case you don't want to use anything. Other little things you need to try on the menu. If you don't use the navigation bar it will be seen in full screen. Tell me if everything works, in the other case I will try to fix it.

New version: full.68.apk
"most stable version"
Installation :
Give access to memory as usual and "allow change system settings"
Redesigned smaller LEDs, battery icons with percentages (I think it's more tasty to the eye). In PROFILE 4 Every 25% of charge there will be the display of the battery and an acoustic signal "red 25%, Orange 50%, Yellow 75% and Green from 75 to 100% . Now the screen does not turn off when it is added to the AC recharge. The suspension of the screen will increase the duration to allow the application to work well otherwise the LEDs and icons will be disabled, then everything will return to normal as soon as you remove the AC charge. Now there is a button to prevent the LEDs from being seen in the dark if you have enabled automatic brightness. When profile 4 is running you can activate the screen with a touch on the display. On the menu I tried to give as many explanations as possible and excuse my English if it's not good.
I'm glad to hear from you if you liked it and everything works well. As I said before I can solve if you point out the bugs.
Hi
Amazing idea and indeed it's usefull, I'll test it and let you know.
Hello, thanks for sharing! Do you mind sharing the profile itself?
A few weeks ago I tried doing the same but I was stuck with Tasker not vibrating when the phone is in silent mode.
From what I've heard Oneplus will "fix" this in next updates.

It should vibrate the same even with silent. Perhaps in the next version I will add vibration when removing the USB cable from the power supply and when the popup will appear. Contact me in private because this is an apk, it's not a Tasker discussion.

I'm doing another much more complete version. There will also be the LED, the LEDs based on the percentage of the charge and vibrations when the power is disconnected and attached. There will be 4 profiles to choose from.
Added Full version on the before page. Try it ?
