@JBookieBop: isn't it easier for the users to just do the nandroid backup and post only system.img & boot.img (but not data.img of course!)? (at least it was good for the Cliq/CliqXT phones).

Hey there M3 mate yes it would but the recovery we have available Currently only allows us to back up everything. But we can restore just the system or data.

I seem to remember that most recovery versions create a checksum file that includes everything you originally backed up. So if you create a nandroid backup with every partition, but you post it without data.img, then it may fail the checksum on restore. Unless there is a way around this.
I'l have a look this evening if I can get a clean Nandroid.
I've made one for the TELSTRA AUSTRALIA Version. Its 120mb, where is the best place to upload it to?
System version : Blur_Version.2.26.0.MB525.Telstra.en.AU

Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Baseband version: EPU93ST2_U_03.03.00

BPflex version: USAJRDNEMARAB1B5TEK02A.0R

Build number: JRDNEM_U3_2.26.0
I have not restored (booted) in to it yet, just used Recover to wipe/factory reset, then made backup of the newly wiped version, then restored my backup then booted into it.
Try posting it on Multiupload. That way you get some redundancy.

Had some trouble with the defy recovery. Came into bootloops. Now everything works and I made a nandroid of this original motorola rom:
JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR -> Central Europe
Only things I've done: root, defy recovery installed
JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR_NANDROID.7z @ hotfile.com
Mirror:
JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR_NANDROID.7z @ uploaded.to
I'm a little lost.
If I do a backup of my original Spanish Vodafone ROM, if I have a problem and I must send my defy to repair, I can send the phone with the original firmware, unroot and with the original recovery? Or this is impossible as the moment?
Sorry, I'm not used to write in english often.
You should be able to, just remember to unroot it before sending it in?
Actually I don't know about the stock recovery, that is Tenfar's problem.
This is the stock US rom, ripped off a just-opened US T-Mobile Defy, right out of the box! I will upload until at least 5 people have the torrent, but this is something you should keep if you screw up.

You need a torrent client such as uTorrent to download this, but it is completely safe, I promise.
I uesd the [TOOL] [12.27.13] WinDroid HTC One S Toolkit v2.0 | Unlock | Root | Flash | S-OFF | to root my HTC ONE S.
Step 1 & 2 was ok. Unlock Bootloader & Flash Recover, but I couldn't flash Super User yet.
In Recovery - I wipe all, but not backup yet. (So stupid)
Now:
- Recover - Mount - Mount USB storage - I copied the "cm-11-20140129-NIGHTLY-ville" 187MB to my phone
- But It can't Install this ROM. Fail - no MD5 file found.
How can I flash a new ROM for my phone ? Is it something wrong ?
Please help me a ROM or how can I Flash ROM for my phone.
Thank you so much
(sorry bc my English not good)
Hey there, I tried the exact same thing you did today and ran into the same problem as you. You might want to try and install cm10 instead as that was the last stable version, at least that's what I did and that solved the immediate problem of not having a rom on my phone. Hope this helps!
I fixed it - HTC ONE S, S3.
.
I used this ROM: Cyanogenmod10.1 : http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160555
1 I Flash Cyanogenmod10.1 ROM
2 Turn Off the phone and then back to the bootloader. Used flashboot tool in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175411 to boot this boot.img here http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=22909751817929723
3 Back to recovery and install goolge Play: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip

hi sir
good morning
this is harish & i want to have my doubts clear about flash stock firmware, kernel, cwm recovery, unlock root pro. What are the advantages of the softwares earlier mentioned. plz inform me. Secondly I tried to download unlock pro free but link is corrupted. I want to root my phone as well.
I am using Quick Heal. when i dwnlod unlock root pro, quick heal says the file has moved and i don't get file. plz help me out. Also when i try to dwnlod firmware through the link, there i can't see the details for my device for which i want firmware.
My device:samsung galaxy s duos (7562)
android version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: S7562DDBMJ1
Build No.-IMM76I.S7562XXBMJ1
This ROM is Migo G9199(a.k.a Avio Sen Pro One in Vietnam)'s ROM
Some info:
Chip/sOc: MT6577
Android version: 4.0.1
After bricking my phone, I realized that the auto ported TWRP can only WIPE but it can neither flash ROM nor restore anything. Luckily, I've backed up my device with flashtool . After a hour of Googling, I found out that many people out there have a bricked Sen Pro One(like me), and I think this might help many people. :good: :highfive:
Drivers, flash tool, firmware(of course) are included in the ROM.rar
200MB? too light-weigh huh? don't worry, It's pure stock ROM. I compressed it with "best" mode of winRAR

btw: I'm new comer, if you want to help me with the recovery please reply. This device hasn't had a stable custom recovery yet.

Hi
requires 2 same devices
in one, flash twrp and backup boot.img
in another device, flash twrp to the boot partition and reboot the device, which will bring up twrp, and then backup stock recovery in twrp
return back to stock with available backups
Hi,
do you also have the stock rom for htc_oceuhl devices ?
Hello there,
I just stumbled upon your thread because I'm looking to revert back to stock. However, I've not been able to find a good - twrp/custom recovery - flashable Stock ROM variant for this device.
I just saw this and got excited but the link is broken/down/deleted. Anyone have a link to spare or can point me to a similar stock flashable zip?
Thanks in advance.
A working link
The link of ROM is no longer available , can you update it please or send me another working one
