But no OTA ... I have to flash it with fastboot or something and i dont know how and im afraid
I want something to download and go to update app and choose to update from existing file in memory

What is your rom version now? stable or beta Pie? this 8.9.13 is beat PIE (android 9)

I have stable 9.6.4 , i want to get miui 10 without fastboot or twrp or root ... Just download and update in updater app from internal memory ... Is it possible ?

you have to install stable ROM , normally you should receive ota update on your phone.

Just so this is clear, because some people don't seem to be aware, but xiaomi.eu is a CUSTOM ROM. It's a good one, there's no problem with it. But it is not a stock rom, you will need to unlock bootloader etc etc.
If you want a stock Xiaomi stable rom this is not it.

Port Kernel Nougat To Oreo

Hi why developers not port Kernel Nougat to Oreo? Why wait for xiaomi? Xiaomi is slow
Example Redmi note 3 pro have official Kernel Android Nougat Only And Have Rom in 8.1
the developers want to wait for xioami so it becomes easier for them?
I know that if the kernel is ported to Oreo everything will not work but everything can be fixed

Porting kernel from Nougat to Oreo, is a hard work that needs much time... I hope developers will finish porting in next 3 weeks

Yes, because when Xiaomi released kernel for Nougat there were many bugs in stock kernel.

"Developers want to wait for Xiaomi so it becomes easier for them"? Please open your eyes, & go through GitHub sometimes. Satya has already achieved a bootable kernel for Oreo. And even my LOS15.1 trees are uploaded, which even though doesn't boot at the moment, but at least it goes into boot animation, & stays there. Many developers are working on the logs & trying to improve it.
If you don't want to help us, it's fine. But don't put allegations without knowing.
Why do you think xiaomi will release oreo kernel? Has they ever release more than the initially released? I don't think so, will not happen for the first time with this device

Considering how terrible are most of the current device trees for tissot, it's not the best advice for a newbie to look at them

Why dont you do it then? Don't be so demanding, devs here do it for free, just patiently observe and wait for releases
The question is inappropriate, if you're not a developer at least you should know what kernel is, you cannot simply fixed every problem.

Flash Global Stable Firmware on Mi Mix 2s from Global Beta

I need to switch from Global Beta to Global Stable (GPay dosen't work with Beta) and I don't know how. I have the official Global Version of the Mix 2s.
1. Because of ARB/AntRollBack can I switch from 8.11.23 (Android 9) to 10.0.2.0 (Android 8) over MiFlash?
2. How I need to bind my MiAccount to my MiMix 2s? Need to send this 2 SMS for confirmation to China? Thats kind of new thing at Xiaomi "to bind Account" because I have more than one Xiaomi devices with this account
3. I read "you need to unlock bootloader first even on global version of Mix 2s" but why? Is that true?
Regards
With 10.0.6.0 you can go back to stable over stock recovery. I already did it.

Twrp Ask

I wondering when do we get official twrp on Mi Mix 2s guys ?
Doesn't matter if official or unofficial, our TWRP works just fine

Flashing stock global rom using XiaomiTool v2, Bootloader locked or unlocked?

I'm currently on 11.1.2.0 EU ROM, and I want to switch to GLOBAL 11.1.3.0 ROM so I could update to MIUI 12
my question is; if I use XiaoMiTool v2 to flash Stock Global Rom, is it necessary to UNLOCK BOOTLOADER?
Yes, to flash any fastboot ROM you need to unlock the bootloader first.
My question is: it's possible to relock the bootloader without have a hard brick after move from EEA ROM to Global ROM? I have to it on MI 9T Pro but I don't know if you can in the MI Note 10.

sorry, i'm afraid i didnt understand what you meant here. anyways someone mentioned that if you come from EEA to GLOBAL, there's is no need to unlock bootloader... that's why im seeking advice, it doesn't seem right.
You need to relock the bootloader if you will to use Google pay our any other bank pay app without root the device.
Edited my other message due to the autocorrect has changed a unlock to relock and a relock to unlock... Read it again...

I did this yesterday without unlocking bootloader. When flashing, it will give you a weird percentage and I think it reboots twice. Have to be careful and not disconnect it before the process is finished.
It is working great.

You can flash from MIUI 11 EEA to MIUI 12 Global using XiaomiTool with the locked bootloader. Then you can lock the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock, a data wipe will be done after the upgrade and another one after the bootloader lock)
What you can't do is going back from Global to EEA (now also the EEA is updated to MIUI 12) without unlocking the bootloader.
Hello, i have Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, with stable EU rom, can i migrate to stable MI rom without unlocking bootloader? The phone is with Mediatek cpu.

I'm here for this same exact reason (Redmi note 10S)
[EEA MIUI13 >>> Global MIUI 13] Do I need to unlock bootloader before flashing?
I'm in the EEA v13 and I want to move to Global v13 also, which receives updates way faster.
EEA updated to v13 and it's sooo broken gosh

MIUI 12.5.2.0 EEA - Lite Edition

Hi all,
somebody knows if a "lite version" of MIUI roms exists ? Normally I'm using MIUI roms based on A11 for my X3 NFC but everytime (every update) I need to disable or uninstall all trashware / unuseful apps... Maybe someone has already removed them from the ZIP file and it's possible to flash a clean ZIP version of the rom?
Is that possible?
Thx

That's what xiaomi.eu does, right?
Other than Xiaomi.eu, the only MIUI based custom ROM that I'm aware of is A10 EliteRom (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/4189431/)...
