P9 Lite 2017: Front camera problem - Huawei P9 Lite 2017 (General)

Yo
I've had broken touchscreen to change. I've bought touchscreen with LCD and frame and then I did moved everything else from old frame the the new one. When I finally had a possibility to test if other things were fine, one of them was not working properly - front camera.
Problem:
Rear camera works great, but when i switch to the front one there is no image, just blurred picture of rear cam preview. No errors, I could still switch from front to rear by tapping camera button and then switch camera button.
What I've already tried:
-Clearing apps data and cache.
-Wiping cache.
-Upgrading/Downgrading to Oreo/Nougat and then doing everything above.
-I've bought another front camera and swapped it, but the results where the same.
Motherboard (or whatever it is called in smartphone that has cpu/gpu/ram on it) had no visible damage at all.
I most likely could miss out on something and I'm running out of ideas
Some screenshots (clean install):

There is no point in repairing that phone.
No one of user's did that beacause it's trash. You can bought it heap as hell~
Don't think that someone will help you~

[Q] Strange Camera Issue

Hi there!
I found something quite strange when I use any 3rd Party Camera App (A Better Camera, Google Camera...) with flash turned on:
When I take a picture it is divided into a brighter and a darker half like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Only the stock camera doesn't show this strange behaviour:
First I thought that maybe it had to do with bad timing between flash and shutter so I tried exactly the same with an image situation where the flash is turned on but doesn't illuminate anything:
The same result. When the flash is turned on something happens during the processing of the image.
Can you reproduce this behaviour?
I almost never take pictures with the flash turned on so this is no big deal for me.
Still I am curious.
Device is a rooted OPO 64GB with Stockrom Build KTU84P
Chris
I found this problem too on my 16gb opo. Problem only exist with Google Camera and the one with Whatsapp. Haven't try other camera app yet.
With stock camera it's just fine.
Do you guys have any updates on this? I just noticed the same issue :\

There's no fix for this, other than ensuring that you use the stock camera when you need to take a photo with the flash enabled.

Front parking camera -- questions on how to wire it up

I have a Eonon GA9153A (MTCE_HT_V2.84_1) in my 2014 VW Beetle. I am already using a rearview backup camera that automatically activates when I go into reverse gear (the camera is wired up to the reverse light for activation).
I would now like to add a forward facing camera for parking assist (probably mounted at the front license plate). My Eonon unit appears to have a second video input (no. 19) right next to the rearview camera input. Is that the correct one to use? I also went into factory settings to tell it to switch to the forward camera for 10 seconds right after disengaging the reverse gear. But how would I wire up the forward camera, meaning how would I supply the forward camera only with power when I just disengaged the reverse gear (meaning not all the time)?
There's a device that came with the radio that is called a "regulator relay" that I suspect may have something to do with this, but there are zero instructions explaining what its true function is.
Below are the schematics of all inputs on the device.
Thanks!

Pixel 2 back camera not working

Hi
I tried installing a port of the pixel 4s camera app onto my pixel 2, and have been having problems with my camera ever since.
The stock camera app does not work at all, it just closes if i try to open it, but i can get the front camera to work in snapchat.
Occasionally the rear camera will pop up in snapchat, but it wont focus.
When i restart my phone and try to open snapchat i get a message saying it cannot connect to the camera, but eventually it will open and my front camera will work again.
I've tried factory reseting, unrooting and flashing the stock images, but its still not working.
I was able to capture some error messages on ADB which ive attatched.

I was planning on replacing the battery and screen (the screen cracked way before any of this happened) but i dont want to spend the $100 if the camera isnt going to work.
I've also thought about trying to replace the camera, but again dont want to spend the extra money if its not going to do anything.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Wife's phone having same issue. Factory resets haven't fixed. Phone isn't rooted. What's easiest way to downgrade camera? Current build is 7.2.018.

OP8/OOS11 Full Screen Has Stopped Working

Hi there,
I'm a new owner and the OOS11 upgrade was available for me out-of-the-box so I've been using that since day one. After first setting up the phone and loading my apps full screen worked as expected and respected the camera notch setting (show/hide). I have it set to show the camera hole so apps should all work full screen.
Everything was working as expected until I picked the phone up the other morning and full screen is broken. It's now some hybrid combination of show/hide. It works perfectly if I hide the camera but now, with the camera showing my apps don't go full screen, see the screen shots below.
With the camera hidden WhatsApp displays correctly:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
With the camera not hidden WhatsApp doesn't render properly full screen:
With the camera hidden Asphalt 8 displays correctly:
With the camera shown Asphalt 8 renders incorrectly:
This occurs for all apps and prior to this all apps were working as expected full screen. I've toggled just about every setting I can find and even removed some software/apps to see what might be the problem but I have run out of ideas.
Short of a factory reset, does anybody have any insight or suggestions?
TIA
Bump.
Surely I'm not the only one?

Blurry photos on S10e

Hello,
I bought myself a used S10e in last december. First i made rom update (Android 10), root with magisk. The photos from the main sensor were blurry, while those from the wide angle did not have a socket. I changed the autofocus. It improved the photos, but I can see that the photos are blurry on the left side while they are sharp on the right side.
Ways to solve the problem?
thanks in advance

You can try if the latest update to Android 11 will have a positive effect on the stock camera.
But the hardware is limited, so do not expect magic.
I try Google Camera but no improvement
You can see blurry on left side and sharp on right side

my guess is the camera software is blurring out the parts of the scene, because it's having trouble identifying the distance of objects it is seeing. Sort of like how Portrait mode blurrs out the background
