Hello,
I bought myself a used S10e in last december. First i made rom update (Android 10), root with magisk. The photos from the main sensor were blurry, while those from the wide angle did not have a socket. I changed the autofocus. It improved the photos, but I can see that the photos are blurry on the left side while they are sharp on the right side.
Ways to solve the problem?
thanks in advance

You can try if the latest update to Android 11 will have a positive effect on the stock camera.
But the hardware is limited, so do not expect magic.
I try Google Camera but no improvement
You can see blurry on left side and sharp on right side

my guess is the camera software is blurring out the parts of the scene, because it's having trouble identifying the distance of objects it is seeing. Sort of like how Portrait mode blurrs out the background

Here are a few contrast figure to illustrate this problem
The first one is the reference diagram, filming equipment for panasonic LX2

LX2 shooting effect is the most close to the naked eye can see.
The next is nexus5 HDR + photo sample
Can be found that dark yellow picture, it is the sun is shining but of old photos made into a near dusk.Continuous shooting many times still has serious white balance is not accurate, not alone.
Here to do a contrast can see understand, above, open HDR +, below to close the HDR +, can be found is turned off, the white balance though drift, but obviously improved a lot.
To open after the HDR + white balance serious drift problem, only through the late PS remedy, below is adjusted during before and after contrast.
Conclusion: the new firmware update this problem before, recommend best when big scenes in the daytime close HDR +
What good method can solve this problem? How to Google response problem?Google engineers will see?
Hi all,
what camera is the fastest in term of focus. I don't care for the quality and options, just need to take pictures without waiting 1-2 sec for nexus to focus.
Its for wifey that just needs to take pics with kids that cant stay put for more than 2 sec
right now the phone is on cataclysm with stock camera.
Thanks anyone.
I think this one.

is it already on 5.1.1?
Im using camera360 app, its focusing fast and have many effects
I am using "Open Camera" because I wanted something with a faster focus than stock and I feel like it does that for me. However, you have a lot of features built in, for example you can lock the focus so it won't change after you manually focused it. For taking pictures of moving children though, the exposure time might be relevant too, which depends on the brightness wherever you are taking the pictures (bright = low shutter time, dark = high shutter time).
Note that stock camera had a new update ?today? which is supposed to improve "capture and shot-to-shot speeds", might solve your problem.
Google camera update is real nice and fast.
good day.
Hello! I have the S6 for a couple of months now and it has never disappointed me - until it's time to take a picture in natural sunlight.
Everytime I take a photo on a sunny day using Auto Mode, portions of it turn up overexposed and the colours seem washed out, making it hard to distinguish a detailed subject. Even the sunrays get blown out into big streaks of light. Decreasing the brightness seems to have no effect. Otherwise, the camera performs amazingly good under even lighting or artificial light, cloudy days and low light conditions.
I will attach a few photos to illustrate the issue. They were all taken in Auto Mode with HDR Auto. But even when I switch to Pro Mode and tweak the settings to take another photo in the same place and under the same lighting conditions, the halo effect still stretches over a big part of the picture.

Could anyone tell me if the problem is on my end and I'm incapable of taking a good photo and what can I do to fix it or should I just return the S6 and replace it with another one? Did anyone else experience this issue? Thank you!
Ask a photographer, but my vote is, not a phone problem. Take pix with the sun behind you, not in front of you.

Yo
I've had broken touchscreen to change. I've bought touchscreen with LCD and frame and then I did moved everything else from old frame the the new one. When I finally had a possibility to test if other things were fine, one of them was not working properly - front camera.
Problem:
Rear camera works great, but when i switch to the front one there is no image, just blurred picture of rear cam preview. No errors, I could still switch from front to rear by tapping camera button and then switch camera button.
What I've already tried:
-Clearing apps data and cache.
-Wiping cache.
-Upgrading/Downgrading to Oreo/Nougat and then doing everything above.
-I've bought another front camera and swapped it, but the results where the same.
Motherboard (or whatever it is called in smartphone that has cpu/gpu/ram on it) had no visible damage at all.
I most likely could miss out on something and I'm running out of ideas

Don't think that someone will help you~

Is this normal or I have problem in the wide angel lens ?
If you have P40 pro , you can test this by putting your hand on the cameras and use wide angel lens to take a photo , share it with me .
Thanks
This happened also on P30 Pro on main camera. It has something to do with the RYYB sensor as I can understand. It can't find anything to show so those dots appear.not sure why,but it only happens when the camera is completely covered...not when you take a normal picture in the dark.
