Hey guys, just another thread about root and fortnite on the oneplus 6. I am currently using this guide to get fortnite on my oneplus 6. https://highonandroid.com/android-howtos/how-to-run-fortnite-on-any-rooted-android/
Just today I tried editing my build.prop file to make fortnite think I was using a note 9. so I reinstalled the fortnite installer and was surprised to find out that it said "how to redeem your fortnite skin"
I'm testing out now if you guys have tried this tell me if you get that message and tell me if you got the skin after at least 48hours. CYA dudes!

It's not working.. I already waiting over 3 days and yes I played 3 full games

But why u need to do something with build prop to get game running? I think oneplus 6 officially supported?
I did nothing just downloaded installer from epic games installed created account for beta, next day i got confirmation, so started game and was able to play until i jumped out from jus. I was kicked out. But this only because im not passing safety net cuz im using android p beta.

Yeah that is why I'm using build.prop to bypass waiting and hopefully get the galaxy skin

So, did u get it?

I use a xiomi mi max 2, i have edit the build.prop(to a note 9)and the GPU(to adreno 530), when i install the fortnite apps to install,(i download from Galaxy apps, And me apeared the Messenge: play 3 maths And you get the Galaxy skin in 24/48 hours. I do this yesterday, And for that moment, i don't recibe. (I speak spanish, i'm sorry for my bad english) you can me speak english that i understand, And too in spanish.

Has this worked for anyone?

It's not supposed to work. You need an actual Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to get the skin. I imagine they do an IMEI check or serial number check before awarding the skin. Also, it is limit 1 per device, so once a skin is redeemed on a device, you can not get anymore skins from that device. People were getting around having to buy the Note 9 by going to wireless carrier stores and installing fortnite on demo devices. That has been blocked since demo devices should now block fortnite installs.

does someone know how to change the IMEI permanently that it will not change back even if you put on core-only mode in magisk ?
If that is working, im sure everyone who do this can get the galaxy skin on any arm64 device

I didn't get the skin tho. You don't need to edit build.prop anymore either because the op6 is officially supported and there is no wait. Just skip the build.prop changes in the tutorial.

If you don't change buildprop you get kicked out because they know that you have an unsupported device
If you don't want galaxy skin you should use the values of any suppotred device in build.prop eg. s7 or s8

Telenet Yelo Play app on Marshmallow and rooting

Hello,
First of all this is an online TV watching app here in Belgium provided by my provider called Telenet link.
It works fine when I'm not rooted, so no SuperSU installed and no su binary. I did some testing and tried "RootCloak" and "No Device Check" but that causes the app to force close after logging in. What can be the cause of the app force closing with RootCloak or No Device Check enabled? I think the app only checks if SuperSU is installed because I'm using systemless root. But again I'm not certain.

the problem is that telenet now is working with Microsoft PlayReady DRM, is there any solution to make it work on rooted devices?
On cm13 the app worked fine until I flashed xposed framework....

I hacked a version for my personal need (pretty easy to do, but every time telenet comes out with a new app I need to redo the hack because of the update policy) and it is working on rooted devices but it is only for Lollipop roms (5.0 and 5.0.1) and lower.
You can download here, if in the future Telenet updates the app I will try to release a new hacked one.

Thanks civato, this works on my Huawei Mate with Android 4.4.2 I had to uninstall the original version first, update only resulted in streaming problem.
I am interested how you managed to crack or is this a secret you don't want to share?
What is the problem to make it work on Android 6.0?

Android is open source to me so no secrets here.
It is a older yelo play (4.3.0) that I changed. I just change the build version (matching the new yelo play app so it doesn't wan't to update) Then I recompile and sign it.
As 4.3.0 only supports up to Android 5.0.1 and doesn't have the DRM stuff Telenet put in the 4.7.1 and higher , but it was from 4.7.1 that it started to support android 6.0.
Maybe if I got more time to look into the smali files and try to get around to detect method for rooted phones I can get a better solution for this problem.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I will try to use suhide on my new phablet with Android 6.0
I just don't understand why Telenet refuses rooted phones, on a PC you are allowed to be administrator with much more possibilities for "misuse" than on Android.

Update: when I try to watch tv on my android tv stick, I only get the possibility to swipe it to a TV. How do I fix this please?

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to buy this phone since it is actually dirty cheap and the specs looks pretty good...I was wondering about some things:
1. I think it comes without play store installed...do i need to root the device in order to install it?
2. Do this device comes pre-rooted?
3. Will I be able to play Pokemon GO on it, considering all the "security" features implemented?

1. I installed CM on day one, but I remember having Play Store in official ROM. The icon might be different though.
2. No. In fact, NONE of the consumer device comes pre-rooted. However, root is available. Please check in these forums.
3. Can't say.

Elder Scrolls Blades Fix

Hello
Recently Bethesda released Elder Scrolls Blades Early Access but on Our S6 Devices isn't Supported .
S8/S9/S10 and above are Supported so i desided to change S6 build.prop into S9+ build.prop (Only Devices Names )
the think is changed it and still the game would recognize my Device as S6 , so i checked it out and it was true that my Device still is S6 and not a S9+.
Also Android Emulators can't Install Elder Scrolls Blades
Any Idea how to fix it ?

Android : 9.0.0
Rom : Resurrection Remix 7.0.0

Yeah multiple times from Apkmirror and Apkpure, could be possible from Architecture of GPU ?
But if it was it would not install.
I Also tried every Android Emulator I could find . Still non have worked

Android 12 beta port for op8t

Is there any port of android 12 for our device? I see there are ports fot op8 and op8pro. Can they he used for ours?
Im currently testing if beta 2 gsi will work bia DSU. First boot with it just got an Android 11 dsu but im trying the second option it gives which i believe is just without gms. At this point I don't think that will be any different but ill update after I try it.
Update: as i expected that still didn't work. I suspect in order for ot to actually load an Android 12 system the gsi build needs special OnePlus keys.
Also, can you provide a link to these ports you're talking of? Im not finding anything on xda or via a google search.

Questions about Redmi K50 Pro

I've been using my K50 for 2 months now, but there is some issue for me about the phone. If someone has encountered or solved the issue before. Please reply to my thread.Thank you
1. Can't install google chrome but google chrome beta is fine(i can click download but it's not avilable right away)
2. Microsoft Teams isnt working (everytime i clicks in the app and it just says preparing about your stuff etc)
3. I was trying to download APKs but it says Cant install system application from unofficial Channels.

I'm using K50 (dimensity 8100) too, and I get no problem with that. Just tell u this:
Better you should unlock bootloader and root it then install whaterver you want. Remember to turn off MIUI optimization.
