If by "tripping Knox" you mean the e-fuse, that's got nothing to do with it. The e-fuse and Knox are different things. Knox verifies the status of the partitions, so if you flash official images on /boot, /system, /recovery etc. and don't modify them in any way then Knox will allow OTA updates regardless of e-fuse status.
I know what you're saying, there used to be some older phones where after tripping the e-fuse you wouldn't get OTA ever again, it would always fail.

you will need to do it again,
flash official 4.4.2 with odin then re-root and install your custom recovery ect
Wait the unroot option on SuperSU pro does not work? I am already in the 4.4.2 leaked version, but I want to install the latest OTA update available.
Once rooted, no more OTA updates. End of the story

KNOX is all about KNOX app, and is not related to OTA / Firmware stuffs.

no. you will not loose an ota, as long as you dont change any system files, you can receive and install an ota, with root. but you will lose root when you ota, and you will lose your custom recovery. but the moment you change a system file, any, you will get an ota, but you will not be able to apply the ota.

i am thinking to get the s6 and i dont think i can give up on root so i heard there is a root method pingpong does not trip knox if i do it
can i install custom recovery on it without tripping knox or anything else on download mode
if i restore to stock will everything stays the same?
thank you in advance
You can root without tripping the KNOX with Ping Pong Root , but if you flash unsigned software like custom recovery or custom ROM the knox will trip and you will loose the warranty.

There is something strange about knox. I flashed BTU(UK) stock ROM on my XXV(vietnam) SM-920F brand new phone using odin 3.10.6. And hell, knox is tripped now. Strange? Anybody any clues?

I'm so glad i saw this, i was about to do the same. Got all my backups ready to flash and wipe to change the CSC to BTU (from EVR). So your KNOX has tripped, how was this confirmed?
Were you able to do anything since tripping it?
Thanks

Can I Update S6 via Odin
I have S6 (SN-G92F)
Made in Vietnam
Original CSC code "ECT"
Active CSC code "ECT"
Knox Warranty void 0*0
CSC Country Nigeria/NG
CSC version
G920FOJV1AODE
Android version 5.0.2
When I tried to OTA update, it shows "already latest OS installed"
I have tried to update it through smart switch, but it updated to the same version.
I have checked in sammobile that 5.1.1 stock available for the same CSC of Nigeria.
Can I update my mobile to 5.1 through odin with out Knox trip.
Knox tripping is very important for me.

I bought a XZ Premium of ebay which is coming in two days and the seller said that he has used the DRM patch, I know you need this for the sony camera to work on unlocked/rooted devices but I also heard some other sony features are disabled even with the DRM patch, also could I revert to stock ROM and receive OTA updates again? Thanks.:good:

It's already using stock rom and no, you can never get OTA updates again.
Did he say it had warranty?

Nope their is no warranty he said, so is their no way I could flash an OTA update, maybe use the sony companion software, if not thats a bummer.
Edit: It comes with Oreo, cant I install TWRP and flash updates, am I stuck on this specific ROM?

Whats on it right now is completely stock. If you reflash you lose drmfix and the camera will stop working.
You will never be able to get ota updates because bootloader is unlocked and drmkeys gone forever = no relocking.
You will have to manually flash each update as the become avaible and hope drmfix is compatible with that version.
