Changing region firmware from G950U1 (XAA) to G950W (XAC) Galaxy S8 - General Questions and Answers

Hello XDA, I want to begin with a disclaimer: I am brand spanking new to this site, and I am aware there are many tutorials on how to do *similar* things with the question I'm asking now. I have spent the past 3 days reading hundreds of threads trying to find an answer to this question but I haven't found anything unfortunately.
Anywho, I want to change the firmware on my S8 from G950U1 to G950W because I live in canada and i'm missing out on specific canadian features like samsung members and faster updates. The firmware from sammobile I would be installing onto my device is:
Product code: RWC (Rogers Wireless)
PDA: G950WVLU5BRG4
CSC: G950WOYA5BRG4
My device is currently:
USA unlocked
Product Code: SM-G950UZVAXAA
Original CSC code: --- (blank)
Firmwares CSC Code: XAA
Active CSC Code: XAA
PDA: G950U1UES5CRF5
CSC: G950U1OYM5CRF5
Baseband Version: G950U1UES5CRF5
I'm wondering if the firmware I want to install is compatible with my device? I've read from a few places that you can only install firmware that matches your device model number, but other sources have said otherwise.
I'm also wondering how I would install this onto my phone if it is compatible. To my current understanding I would put my phone into download mode, download the firmware onto my laptop, extract the BL AP CP and CSC then put those into their respective slots in odin, press start and wait for odin to install the firmware onto my phone.
I would like to sincerely apologize if this question has been answered before, I cant tell you how many threads I've gone through that havent left be with a solid answer. This is my last resort making this thread.

Now when the officail kikkat is avialable to download i am damn confused about regions i should download from ..coz my PDA version and Csc version denote different regions !
So what i need is some expert advice on this as to what to do in this case when the PDA and CSC /Product code show different regions!? Should i change my csc, den how?n how do i know the correct csc for my device coz my PDA shws i have a multi csc ?(n i dont knw what was my csc before i rooted)

[Completed] firmware for S5 Australia not found G900IDVU1BOJ1 LOLLIPOP

Can someone direct me to firmware for Samsung S5, region Australia, not found in the Samsung firmware page, every region but Australia My phone purchased in Korea. FIRMWARE NEEDED G900IDVU1BOJ1. Phone on Optus network, but not locked.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
You would have better luck if you went Sammobile.com, samsung-updates.com or galaxys5update.com. You will need to use your model number and possibly the specific build number that you are looking for.
Hope this helps, good luck.

[Completed] Root SM-J320FN

OK, there are dozens of solutions to rooting a Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 phone on the web, but none of them have worked for me.
The problem seems to be that the solutions are too "old" and don't take into account new firmware updates. Or the solutions are for different variants of the phone, there seems to be so many.
So, my particular phone is:
AP: J320FNXXUOAPK2 (PDA Version)
CP: J320FNXXUOAPK1 (Phone Version)
CSC: J320FNOXX0APK1 (CSC Version)
The OS is Lollipop 5.1.1
Does anyone know how to root this EXACT MODEL of phone?
Also, I have been unable to find a working version of TWRP for this model, so if you know of one I would very much appreciate a link to it.
Cheers

[Completed] Advice on installing new firmware to Samsung Galaxy S5

Hi everyone, I have some questions regarding my phone so here we go.
I have an S5 that I bought a couple of years ago with the following:
Model: SM-G900V
Android: 4.4.4
Baseband: G900VVRU1ANI2
I can't upgrade the Android version by going to the menu so I was thinking on installing a new firmware and found one on firmwarefile dot com but it has different values on PDA and CSC:
Android Version: 6.0.1
Product code: VZW (USA Verizon)
PDA: G900VVRU2DPD1
CSC: G900VVZW2DPD1
and another one with:
PDA: G900VVRU2DPG2
CSC: G900VVZW2DPG2
So in order to not screw it up:
Which firmware will work best for me?
By installing another firmware version, is there a chance my phone be no longer unlocked?
Does all firmware out there have the stock apps? (not a problem since I can be root and uninstall them)
What would be the maximum version available for my phone?
I'll appreciate any help provided, thanks in advance!

Greetings and welcome to assist. I would normally recommend the latest firmware or the one that is the closest region to you. You can use this to download the latest firmware
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/updato-largest-online-firmware-archive-t3413785
and flash through odin but you will need to re/root once you use odin. You could also use kies/smartswitch to upadte as well
Good Luck

SM-G920TZKAXAR Firmware Download

Hi all, does anyone know where I can download the SM-G920TZKAXAR firmware for the S6? The phone is an unlocked SM-G920T which, from my research, is the same model number used for the T-Mobile version of the S6. I tried searching this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/stock-firmware-official-stock-firmware-t3086387 but the later pages are access denied? I also found a thread from a couple years ago asking a similar question, https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/unlocked-g920t-t3256656 but sadly no links were posted.
I'm hoping someone has a copy. I did not find any on samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com THanks
check updato.com for G920T
Thanks I checked the site but unfortunately no exact match. This seems to be a very rare firmware, I just realized there was a similar post a month ago asking the same question.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/rare-firmware-sm-g920tzkax-t3877413
Is there any particular reason that you need this specific firmware? I would give the firmware for the regular G920T a try—seems like it should work.
I'm running a debloated version of G920TUES6ERC2 on my phone, which also uses the XAR CSC code and has all T-Mobile-related things removed.
