Can someone direct me to firmware for Samsung S5, region Australia, not found in the Samsung firmware page, every region but Australia My phone purchased in Korea. FIRMWARE NEEDED G900IDVU1BOJ1. Phone on Optus network, but not locked.

You would have better luck if you went Sammobile.com, samsung-updates.com or galaxys5update.com. You will need to use your model number and possibly the specific build number that you are looking for.

I had successfully rooted my Samsung Grand Neo Plus using the steps on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/root-galaxy-grand-neo-plus-gt-i9060i-ds-t3070302; the problem was that a lot of the phone functions stopped working. The main thing that troubled me the most was that the usb tethering couldnt work, and also the mobile hotspot.
I decided to try returning to the original stock firmware, but i found something that could help me with the problem of rooting and having a fully functioning phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2690270. This soft bricked my phone.
I managed to get it working again with this rom https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24391638059057834; Its for Arabic region; and im pretty sure that that was the region for my phone was XSG. The problem i have now is that i dont have any service from my sim cards and the imei number is null. I tried entering this code *#197328640# but it doesnt work at all. Could you please help out.
EDIT: Checked the local store and got these:-
PDA: I9060IXXU0AOJ1
CSC:I9060IOJV0AOK1
PHONE:I9060IXXU0AOK2
REGION: XSG
COUNTRY: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
OS: KITKAT 4.4.4

The best place to go is Sammobile .com or samsung-updates .com and use your model number in their search engine to find the stock firmware for your device, make sure you get the correct one for your region.

I have a Huawei mate 8. I wanted to unroot. My model is NXT-L29C185B190. The country is bahrain. I found a stock firmware from another site but the country is Pakistan. Does the country matter when you try to install the stock firmware??

Basically no , it doesn`t matter but you must be sure that the firmware matches the exact device variant / model
What can be missed is the CSC codes which are available only on the country`s firmware , you can google CSC codes

I have a Galaxy SM-A515F-DSN 2020.
model number:- SM-A515FZBVEUE
I am living in Spain and unable to install samsung Pay as it's not available to download in the play store.
Am I Right in thinking I have to change the csc and firmware?
I have looked for the Spanish firmware and found this A515FXXU5EUL3_A515FOXM5EUL3_PHE.
Do I just use i¡odin and flash? I have seen a thread on changing csc but some of the links are dead.
ps. the phone is away for screen replacement at the moment with Samsung so no access to the current firmware installed.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I've tried to search but no luck specifically to my region
I bought a SM-N976B from a friend and i couldn't use Samsung pay.
I brought it to the Samsung store and they said i have a different region.
I ended up searching if it is possible to change the region by flashing, I've got mixed results and I downloaded Frija and couldn't search the firmware i want to use...
I'm currently using this model SM-N976B and would like to change the firmware region to HONG KONG so that i could use the "Samsung pay x Octopus".
Could anyone please help me point me in the right direction?

Hi I have a A326B/DS smartphone and the only firmware I can see online is from the Brazil region. I live in the UK and can see this was also an international model. So no idea why the only firmware online seems to be from Brazil.
My question is, I'm wanting to root/flash the device. Do I stick with the Brazil option, or should I use a A326B Firmware which looks like its from the UK (No DS on the end specific to my model)
