Back pet glass protector - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Accessories

Anyone know of anyone selling one , I usually buy the skinomi front and back wet applied , but they are not released yet.

I just got the PhantomSkinz front protector, but they also make both. I went with the ultra clear, will have to wait till the phone gets here for fit. I did also get one for the LG V30 for my girl, and I can honestly say I am impressed so far. Fits perfect and doesn't get snagged on the case. Also has more of a smooth glass feel. Maybe check those out.

Yes, I used skinomi clear skin for the back in the past on my note 8 was good. But still not available , I'm guessing due to then not having a template yet.

[Q] Best Screen Protector So Far?

Had my One S since last Wednesday and although I'm not in a hurry to get a case for this sexy beast I DO want to get a screen protector on it because it's a bit too glossy for me, I'd like something to tone it down just a bit and also protect it a little.
So, any recommendations? I've seen several good comments about the official HTC screen protectors but was wanting to get feedback from those who have actually purchased, received and are using a screen protector.
Thanks!
I am using the Zagg Dry (the ones that u don't have to spray stuff everywhere) protectors that come for a front and back protector. Seems to go very well and gives good grip.
Sent from H1S using xda Prem
I always go for HTC official protector, reason is very simple, it fits perfectly. I mean perfectly, literally, perfectly.
And they are very clear and not easily damaged.
Only down side I can think about is the installation. Cos it fits so perfectly, it makes the installation bot difficult, you have to be very patient to do it, but definitely possible.
BTW, yes, I have official one on my one s, and I love it.
And, no need to go to Expansys or other websites which are really expensive, eBay will just do, less than £5.

Do you have any type of case? Was thinking of getting the Cruzerlite clear case and using it with the official HTC screen protector but I want to make sure both fit correctly together.

i got this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200745665...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
it fitted perfectly.. Its so cheap and it does the job
well worth it
htc official protector for me as well. More expensive but you can really slide the fingers on it and it fits ideally. No cheap stuff

Yes, have normal tpu case on. They work well together. Never had the Cruzerlite one but it should be ok I assume. It's a normal shape tpu case right?

I went with zagg for the screen and waiting for otterbox for the case.

I'm waiting for the otterbox myself... I hope they can send in the UK directly.

i bought the one like "azzledazzle" too.(sr first post and can"t post other links).I am in Berlin now, at ebay.de they said the good is in Berlin but i waited for 4 days till it came.and on the Bill it says come from UK lol.
btw this one is good, cheap, but hard to press (power and volume)
the screen protector ist good too.
I was using the one they sell at the T-Mobile store and it worked quite nice. Only complaint is that my D30 case peeled it up in the corners so I took it off. That was most likely from me putting it on weird though.

I have the same combo and initially had the peeling problem, too. Try pushing the screen protector away from the side where it's peeling. That worked for me.
Really like the official tmobile screen protector.

I'm using the official T-Mobile version with Cruzerlite case...no problems.
Anyone know if the HTC one is that much better than the one from T-Mobile?

does the t-mobile screen protector offer a smooth surface to touch? I am used to SGP's screen protectors which smooth as hell. Right now I am deciding on the t-mobile ones or the Realook ones

Smooth as the original screen...I don't experience any difference.
$30.00 Zagg dry for me. Watch out when you put the front protector on. It needs to be done withe the phone sitting upside down, your ear piece needs to be facing you. I recommend you do this with your phone off.
When I did mine and answered a txt while doing the front and ended up setting the phone down on the desk right side up. And now the front screen protector is on up side down. Still works though.

Skinomi for Nexus 4

Just checked out their site and they have the skins already. Time to get one for this

I much prefer Best Skins Ever
I use juggle between the two. Nothing yet on the bse site though
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I've tweeted Best Skins Ever, they're making a N4 skin as soon as they can get their hands on one
I hate skinomi bought one for my one x and applied on to the screen, the water stayed inbetween the skin and screen, it also had dirt caught on to it, do any of you know how to get rid of dirt from a screen protector.

It's how you apply it. It has to be a dust free place. Never experienced having a speck of dust on between with different brands of skins on a screen and I also make sure to squeegee out the liquid thoroughly
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Honestly I don't see much difference between these, BSE, Invisibleshield etc. But I usually go with Ghost Armor because they have a stand at mall near me that does the installation and replacement themselves.
They all work fine, but I hate when they are not applied correctly, it makes them pretty redundant.

Ahh I see. Thank you for confirming this.
I had a bad experience with Skinomi.
I hate that "orange peel" feeling when touching (or looking at it). And most of all, the sticky surface. No no no..I won't buy an Skinomi never again.
I'll look into buying an SPG, very good experience with them. The bad? Their screen protectors are expensive, but they worth.
i currently have a sgp ultra olephobic screen protector for nexus s and it was pricey but was worth it
I ordered one and still waiting on confirmation... no ordered processed or shipping... wanted this for as soon as the phone arrives.

XO Skins

What do you guys think about this screen protector from XO Skins? http://xoskins.com/cell-phone-skin-protectors/google-skin-protectors/google-nexus-4-screen-protector
Had one for my G Nexus, EXTREMELY TOUGH... tested it when I removed it... (sending phone back to Amazon to refund for a nexus 4!)
It really is super tough.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I just ordered one the other day. I am hoping that it would get to me before the N4 arrives so that I do not have to worry about scratches on the screen. Read a lot of great reviews about XO Skins for different phones, and thought might as well try it. Hopefully it's not ~$14 down the drain.
Have a search on YouTube for tips on applying the skin, it makes all the difference! I searched for xo skin application galaxy nexus or similar... it's a breeze, really.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I have been researching them and it looks like this one is right for me. Apparently these don't have the orange peel look and I think these might be better than the hard/plastic protectors because I've gotten scratches quite easily. But they do seem like I don't have anything installed on them. I'm gonna give the XO Skins a try.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
XO Skin is an excellent protector! I used to use one on my Nexus and I can tell you it's the best protector I've tried so far. No orange peel and the rubbery feeling goes away and feels quite smooth after about a week (or two? been awhile). Also the customer service at XO Skin is top notch, never seen anything better. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty, why aren't you ordering it already?
Here's a reference to the XO Skin thread for the Galaxy Nexus if anyone wants to read up some user reviews on it:

Yes they do, I ordered a full body one here:
http://xoskins.com/cell-phone-skin-...protectors/google-nexus-4-full-body-protector
They also do case fit versions too.
I won't use a wet applied skin protector if the screen itself is not in curve, why make it so trouble?
Although XO skin has very nice customer services (I returned 4 times...still getting a bad product, they gave me refund at the end), I was not impressed with their product.
Back to the Samsung Vibrant year, I use Realook clear SP which is really nice.
Do they still make nice screen protector now?
UPDATE:
Damn, just knew that the N4 STILL having curved glass but on the side.....................
I just ordered it ..

Here you go buddy, from xoskin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA-bH4RsyFs
From my experience, 4 out of 4 of my XOskins have rainbow effect for either the whole screen or partial screen.....which stop me from getting one for Nexus 4..
But I see reply saying Nexus 4 is still a curve screen on the edge..
so is that really no way for a dry-apply one to fully cover it?

weird the ones i had for my gnex / iphone were mint / crystal clear at all angles.
did you use the solution from the box?
btw ordered another set for the n4 using sprintxo promotion code. Dont bother getting any other shipping other than the usps priority cheap kind. I usually receive their packages in a day or 2 From their office which is in seattle i believe to connecticut.
(actually they are based in utah)
I've seen a rainbow look while it was still wet. Sometimes it takes a few days to dry out.

RE: Realook

RE: Realook
I just got confirmation from Realook that they WILL be offering a back protector!!!
Finally! a vendor that is offering both the front and back for this beautiful piece of glASS!!
As for a 3D forming front film, I believe they are debating this--depending on demand.
Post below if you'd be interested in the 3D forming film for the front!
Lets get some real demand going for a quality product for the nexus 4!
I'd be interested. Figured I'd would wait for Spigen SGP to do the case/screen protector combo that they usually do and get something of equal quality for the back (and Realook is for sure just as good as SGP's stuff from my Galaxy S days).

however, are they able to make a dry-applied one for curve screen??
They just made one covering only the center of GS3 which has almost the same screen design...
didn't they just make a wet-applied one for Gnex which had bad review?

I would definitely buy one from them if they make one.
However even SGP is saying curved one will not be available in N4 :crying:
The Realook on my Samsung Vibrant has held up strong, in fact I'm still using this until my N4 shows up. I would definitely be interested in a curved dry application screen protector! Can't wait till they release the back protector even though I already ordered the SGP one on amazon.
I'd definitely order a curved sp if they made one.

ZAGG on NEXUS 4 Improved!

Hi,today I installed the ZAGG front and back protector a the mall....I had it on my galaxy nexus too.I just wont to inform everybody who is considering this screen protector....compared it to to one on the galaxy nexus it has way less of that "orange peel" effect and it is not so much "gripy" than the one on the galaxy nexus that I installed almost a year agoo.So they must changed something on the protetctor.Overall Im very satisfied with this one and I would recommend it.
Thanks! Glad to see they've gotten better. I just don't like how expensive they are so I opted for a different brand.
But I am curious about that ZAGG HD.

You may think that they're more expensive but if you take into consideration the lifetime warranty I find them worth the price. I've only had to pay for 1 screen protector on all of my devices. Whenever they start peeling off because of the case I have or any little issue, I just get it replaced for free (you can take it to the mall and they'll do it also but i believe they charge) As the OP has mentioned, the orange peel look isn't as prominent as it used to be. It reminds me of my older devices with the original Gorilla Glass, its there if you look for it but if you're just using your phone its nearly impossible to see.
Are the Zaggs case friendly or will they pull band bubble up on the corners if I have a case? Because otherwise I love these and will get one asap if they play nicely with cases

I installed a HD on a friends iPhone 5... it's pretty awesome, much thinner and feels like a sheet of glass, still have the great protection though, should be how Zaggs come as standard tbh!
They only work with the OEM bumper
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
The ZAGG screen protector has 2 variants: 1 for no case, and the other is case friendly. The case friendly ones are cut more to allow room for case sides, so they will not push up against the sides of the screen protector. IF you got the wrong one, just ask for a replacement.
The greatest thing about the ZAGG lifetime warranty is that even if you ordered the original version and they later release a HD version for your device, you can simply ask for a replacement and get the HD if that is the one you want.
Easy Peasy.
