I accidentally installed the B513 Marshmallow update which was for MT7-TL09 version of Mate 7 on my MT7-TL10 Gold version. I did not notice the version no. on the file and now my phone is bricked. I have tried everything to revive it. Put different versions of softwares UPDATE.APP in dload folder and tried to force update it but the software failed at 5% and I also tried to fastboot system.img from previous updates but no luck. Now the phone won't go to recovery mode and neither to system update menu. Only bootloader remains and the phone is now stuck on the 1st bootloop. Please can anyone help me revive my phone?
hey guys. as the title says... I have a L29 Huawei Mate 8 ( origin Firmware B180, bootloader already unlocked)
i stuck at the stock menu which says you phone is unlocked and can't be trusted... I flashed several times TWRP 3.xx and try to unbrick B170 via Italian Knife. I feel so hopeless now. Did I brick it? i can enter Download mode pressing down power.. any ideas? Which page should I read again?

Flashback to stock using "dload" put the update.app in dload folder in sdcard. Then hold the up+down volume +power.

Here is a way!!
Dload honor multi tool on PC, run it, enter honor 6 on multi tool, then put your phone into bootloader mode (vol down + power) and enter the following numbers for recovery (I think it's 1) and hit enter, then select the EMUI you had, e.g. like my phone honor 6 h60l04 with Android marshmallow, I would select number "3" and then enter because Android 6 has EMUI 4.0 and agree that you have your bloader unlocked, install one of the recoveries it shows. Then have a rom that's based on your previous stock android version e.g. Android 6 rom for my phone (KingVip worked best for me) and finally install it with your recovery, wiping your data then clicking install for best measures

This will get your device back to 100% stock.
Please note, I do not have this China variant, but I would assume the install instructions are the same as the US version. Once extracting the zip, review the document ReleaseDoc\SHT Software Upgrade Guideline.doc for install instructions, but for the US version it was as simple as:
Extract the zip file
Copy the dload folder from Software\ into the root of a formatted Micro SD Card (as is, do not extract any other zip files in dload)
Reboot into the EMUI Recovery (from a powered off state: press and hold the Vol+ and Vol-, then press Power)
Wait...
On the US device, I believe this kept the bootloader unlocked, but restored everything else including any custom recovery.
Hello all !
I have a big issue on my Huawei Y9 2019. I updated the software version moving from EMUI 8.2.0 to EMUI 9.1 via HiSuite. The HiSuite downloaded then the new version and installed it. Once the update was complete, the phone rebooted.
The problem is that the phone does not boot correctly. It says that "Your device has loaded a different operating system" and immediatly goes to eRecovery where 4 options are available: Download latest version and recovery, Wipe data/factory reset, Reboot and Shutdown.
- I tried to select the 1st option but it goes to a "Getting package info failed".
- I tried then to Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition. Same result, eRecovery each boot.
So I decided to search for stock ROM available online and downloaded ROM on the internet:
- Huawei Y9 2019 JKM-LX1 JKM-L21 Jackman-L21 8.2.0.102(C185) Firmware 8.1.0 r1 EMUI8.2 05015JMY androidhost.ru

Tried the mode download, create a dload folder and put the update.app inside the root folder of an SDcard (Vol up + down + power) but none of them works. It says that "Software install failed. Incompatibilty with the current version. Download the correct update package.''.
I'm really lost, I don't know what to do, these are the only ROMs available for JKM-LX1. What should I do please.

Never heard of this phone.
Common problem with Huawei, try to flash stock rom that you had on phone when you have buy it. Be careful on version and region and if it is Cxxx or CxxxCUST.
Try to update HiSuite and try again. Do you have Y9 2019 (JKM-L01, LX1, L03) or Y9 Prime 2019 (JKM-L21) ? See on backside of phone, on bottom.
If you have unlocked bootloader, you can some custom rom. Do you have custom recovery (TWRP)?
Or you can use right rom with pro-teammt.ru, creators of Firmware Finder for Huawei/Honor. Like there.
You will need to use eRecovery and change DNS to redirect phone to use pro-team site in stead of official.
Or try multirom tool to unbrick phone / repair rom. https://pro-teammt.ru/en/multi-tool-huawei-honor/
