I have several bands listed, but I can only select/deselect a few bands. The others are grayed out and I cannot select them.
Anyone know how i can select the other bands? I have terrible signal to the point i stand outside in downtown chicago and I loose signal!! I get a max of two bars anywhere i go.

if I write *#06# I see only MEID number: HEX and DEC
please, help me
how can I unlock?

The phone must be in GSM mode for *#06# to display the IMEI.
The IMEI is printed on the label in the battery compartment.
The IMEI can be viewed in About Phone/Phone Status when in Global or GSM mode.

The phone is A956 Global but under battery I dont have any IMEI, only MEID and another code.
If I write *#06# the phone show only DEC and HEX
how is it possible?

But how can I swith the phone in global mode? When I turn on the phone it ask me the unlock code.
I choose dismiss and after I can only emergency call or activate the phone

Hello,
In the Setting/Network Mode, there is LTE/3G/2G selection and due to unavailable LTE on my area I would like to switch to 3G preferred.
Each time I chose 3G network, it will show "Change the network operating mode" in the Network Mode, if I choose either LTE or 2G it will stay as it is
I read from the forum, suggested using "*#*#*4636#*#*" >> phone info, choose WCDMA only, but it will reset back when phone is reboot.
Is there anyway to permanent this WCDMA mode even after reboot?

I have a Samsung phone, and whenever I enable mobile data it doesn't change from E to H, you what I mean at the status bar there are 2 arrows pointing up and down then beside it has E or H,(H perhaps in my place is faster). My father has another phone we're on the same place but his mobile data signal indicate it was H. When I search for answers what I found is *#*#4636#*#* then go to Phone Information and change Preferred network type to WCDMA only, however it just keep going back to GSM only it doesn't change. I try to change Network mode through the phone settings (settings>more>mobile networks>network mode) however the network mode is disable, you can't even click it I don't know what to do. please help me,
My phone shows service disabled. It all started when I changed my network mode from gsm/wcdma to lte and now I'm unable to change the mode as the network modes are hidden.Is there any way to get back to gsm/wcdma or to get out of service disable. Please help me guys.
