New app from Chris Lacy (Action Launcher Dev) allows any device running Android P to run Digital Wellbeing.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionlauncher.pixelshortcuts
I'm not sure if this will work on devices running anything below Android 9.
All credit to Chris Lacy.
Enjoy!
This app adds only shortcuts for wellbeing app and other pixel stuff to the home screen.
There is no way to run the wellbeing app on other devices than pixels running android 9
As the developer says: ** Please be aware that Pixel Shortcuts will not magically make a non-Pie, non-Pixel device able to run the Digital Wellbeing app. **
Digital Wellbeing is not even working on DP3!?
I can start it, but ot Shows no information ...

It works on P Beta on OnePlus 6 and Essential Phone (probably other devices running P too). You need to install Digital Wellbeing (Beta) from Play Store first (https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.google.android.apps.wellbeing)

I found the apk through a Google search and installed it. Works fine.
Why isn't there the timer app function working for the op6? Or do I have something to do?
Bumb?
I've figured out!
Sorry for the big bump but I've figured out how to use Digital Wellbeing on Essential phone up to date as of today. It may work on other devices running SDK 28+ too (as Manifest suggests).
First I've downloaded the latest version from the internet (v 1.0.230918304 when writing)
Next I've installed a custom activity launcher (Activity Launcher on Google play for example) and launching the Digital Wellbeing activity named 'com.google.android.apps.wellbeing.settings.TopLevelSettingsActivity
It will open the Wellbeing dashboard. At the bottom of the screen, I've checked "Show I con in the app list" and voilà!
For now Wind down seems to be broken.
Hope it helps.
It works.
But how about the wind down?

Hi,
I made modifications in quick circle apps that they can work on Lollipop.
Tested on AndroidNow HD 4.0-5.0.

- Quick Music working
- added Slovene language
- fixed issue in Quick Calendar - wrong number of days

Music work for me too but Quick Music didn't work. You can use other players to play music and control with Quick Music.
In Android 5 they change some functions and you didn't have control of other player.

oops I meant QuickMusic (I use Google Play for music, so I use QuickMusic a fair bit) - in 20A none of the third party apps work, but when I flashed 20C I tested them all and everything (except hide settings) was working fine, at least for me anyway.

Try this to make QuickMusic work. Try opening it once from quickcircle menu (case closed). Then OPEN quicknotifications. If it's the first time, you will be asked to open the case, do it. Now you are in "Notification access" menu. Is there "QuickMusic"? Select it and it should work now with your preferred music app (using Spotify here without problems).
ATM I have no option to check it myself - does QuickCircle from this zip work with CM12, or there's no chance for that?

Its because this mod is made for STOCK firmware (LG's one, with "quick circle" in settings).
--> CM12 is not based on LG firmware, so quick circle doesn't actually work on CM/AOSP ROMs

Welcome back yoavst. I've been keeping an eye on your app on the gpad forum.
I have a request, if it's ok.
Is it possible to add xdabbebs XCam to your quick circle app please?
XCam is a great app but I find I take 80% of my pictures with the quick circle case closed, so have gone back to using the stock camera.
Thanks in advance.

What's the problem with stock camera on QCircle?
My App for G Pad, won't win, Since Android Wifi-Direct API sucks, and Bluetooth is damn too slow.
So it will probably work for me only

There's nothing wrong with the stock camera as such.
I'm a novice at picture taking.
I just see that I can get nicer looking pictures with XCam. Especially when used with the paid app.
Good luck in the competition, the gpad is a very underrated device and it really deserves some love.
LG really should have built upon it this year too, instead of releasing those 3 mediocre tablets.

If using Nova Launcher, Long press the homescreen > Wallpapers > scroll right to live wallpapers
Those live wallpaper shortcut apps are still available on the play store, no need to upload apks
I don't use nova I prefer original launcher and use a app to access live wallpapers (lwp manager pro removed from play store) or you can use (live wallpaper shortcut).
samsung get a little unkindness in android 7 I don't why but I I think in Android 8 will be add this I hope.

Here try this link I give you install the app it is free pro app that Google removed from I don't why but I like it bring back the live wallpapers to your mobile and you can even manage them here this link:
https://www.apkmonk.com/app/sightidea.com.manage.livewallpaper/
check this
https://android-apk.org/sightidea.com.manage.livewallpaper/
and
https://android-apk.org/com.google.android.apps.wallpaper/
I saw many people struggling to get it working.
Some suggesting to use with magisk module. But I got it to work without root.
So here's the steps to get it.
Steps :
1) Install latest wellbeing apk from apkmirror.com or attachment
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...wellbeing-0-2-207862754-android-apk-download/
2) Install Nova launcher (just needed to create shortcut)
You can use this app for shortcut too https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionlauncher.pixelshortcuts
3) Go to homescreen on your launcher and long press
4) Go to widgets and search for "Nova activities"
5)Scroll down and look for Digital Wellbeing in the list and tap on it
6) select ".home.TopLevelSettingsActivity" from the list of activities in digital wellbeing
First thing done. Now to permission.
Search for Digital wellbeing or wellbeing in apps and ensure all permissions are granted.
Lastly
1) open settings
2) search for usage access
3) allow wellbeing access
Done.
Now to see the app click on shortcut firstly created and you can see the dashboard working.
Hit thanks if I helped.
GDrive link for wellbeing I used
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u-Oy-hbJ3Mp7u_4vmnAEQ5Mcb-W53kkj/view?usp=drivesdk
Screenshot :
Tried it.. works as described! Thanks

Scoop: Catches a stack trace when an app crashes unexpectedly
This module - as the description says - saves the stack trace of a crashing app and displays all crashes in a list so you don't have to look through a long logcat anymore. Additionally you get a notification on every crash (configurable) which already displays the most important information.

This app is based on @MrWasdennnoch's Scoop Xposed module which doesn't work on Android Pie anymore (no Xposed :crying::crying, so I forked it and made it work without Xposed. I've also made some UI changes so the app feels more modern.
The app still packs many functionalities like the old module does, with a nice addition. These are the supported features.
- Search in crashed apps
- Search in stack trace
- Crash preview in notification
- Combination of same crashes / apps to avoid long repetetive lists
- Crash blacklist
- Quick actions to copy / share a stack trace
- Uploading to dogbin for convenient sharing.

Hi @paphonb,
Thank you for your effort and congrats on the nice result. The app is really useful.
While rewriting the v4a app I was trying to implement a centered action bar title just like in your app, but I haven't been able to achieve the desired result. I wondered if you want to share the source or some code snippets to help me out a little.

Didn’t google remove the start on boot broadcast on Oreo?
@paphonb just letting you know that Scoop 2.0.3 is working as a Xposed module for me with Android Oreo + EDXposed 0.2.9.7 but I believe it will also work on Android Pie. The only setback is that Scoop only captures the logs if Scoop is open in my recent apps (I'm sure it's working through Xposed because I did not give root permissions for Scoop to be able to enable read logs permission). Could you test on your device and fix whatever it takes to work perfectly as a (ed)xposed module just as old Scoop worked with Xposed for Marshmallow and Nougat? Thank you!

I do not know...
However... I do know there are lots of apps that do start at boot... And I don't always remember to start scoop...
But having at least SOME logs when you're not ready for a crash has made life easier
@paphonb Would you mind adding a filter option so some apps' specific crashes (eg some that would occur often) are blacklisted ?
Also, when many notifications are generated, they won't bundle in one expandable Scoop notification. Could you make it so they would ?
