Hello everyone, I was modifying the A5 2017 ROM, and I realized that there are some scripts like [FONT="<font><font>Arial Preto</font></font>"]Boot logo[/FONT],[FONT="<font><font>Arial Preto</font></font>"]SuperSU[/FONT], and a question arose that was like creating a Xposed script for this ROM?
Is there any nougat 7.1.2 custom rom or higher for the galaxy j7 2016 ??
Well a quick <search> would answer your question very fast, but I'll try to help you. The answer is YES there are custom ROMs running Nougat on the J7,
but it all depends on which J7 you have. There are many different J7's. You said yours was J7 2016 but there are a couple different J7's released in 2016.
After releasing the first Galaxy J7 in 2015, Samsung released two new J7 models in 2016 and five in 2017 -- making it a bit tricky to work out which phone
you actually have.
The fastest way to know for sure is to check the About Phone section of Settings. Open the Settings app, scroll to About Phone, then scroll down until
you see the model name listed. The 2015 model will be called the Galaxy J7, while the 2016 model will be called ‘Galaxy J7 (2016)’. After that, it gets
more complicated as the roster of Galaxy J7 phones has swelled to include the J7 Prime, J7 Max, J7 Pro and J7 Nxt.
From a quick search I see:
[ROM] Download Lineage OS For Galaxy J7 Nougat 7.1.1 [SM-J700F/H/M]
[ROM] [NN] [7.0] [Stock] [G610XX] FeedStock Nougot Rom for J7 Prime
[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2] LiquidDark For Samsung Galaxy J7 [OMS][24 Apr 2017]
[ROM][7.0][J7 2015 Exynos] Revolution OS v4.5 Updated 22/08/2017
[ROM][7.0][V2][HYPERION FIRST TW NOUGAT ROM FOR j7 2015]
[ROM][7.0][Version 1.0][SPECTRE UX NOUGAT ROM For J7 2015]
[ROM][AROMA]Pixel Experience ROM for Galaxy J7 2015
[ROM][7.1.2][j7elte][UNOFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix N R_1 [SM-J700F/H/M]
## I HAVE NOT TRIED ANY OF THESE, so do so at your own risk. But first off you need to be sure you have the correct ROM for YOUR phone.
Good luck my friend

Yeah I found them too but I have a SM-J710FN so it's not compatible
Samsung Task Changer APK
This is the apk that I found on APKMirror. It changes your recent screen to something you saw on Android P. It is official APK by Samsung and I tried it on Stock S7 Flat. It should be supported on all S7 variants running on Android 8.0.
Instructions:
Download APK
Install as regular app, nothing special.
Link:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/task-changer/task-changer-1-3-01-61-release/samsung-task-changer-1-3-01-61-android-apk-download/#file
ENJOY!
How to unintall?
I have installed on a galaxy note 8. Since Samsung Task Changer does not support multitask double windows, i would like to uninstall it. How is it possible?

You have to install the latest version of task changer. That version supports multiwindow: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...-task-changer-1-3-01-62-android-apk-download/ You can uninstall in settings > apps > task changer
Install the BadLock App (That App Is The Reborn Version Of Goodlock)
WORKS ON ALL SAMSUNG ROMS WITH 8.0 OREO UPDATE (Galaxy S7, S7+, S8, S8+, S9, S9+, Note 8, Note 8 FE, J7 (2016), J5 (2016), J3 (2016), A7 (2016), A5 (2016), A3 (2016), etc...

The reason for the request is since both phones appear to be the same with very minor differences (90Hz screen on the M12 vs 60Hz on the A12 and possible RAM and storage configurations), and keeping both phones in different forums would split any development effort possibly resulting in lower quality work for both phones.

@cater2 ?
@Badger50
Could you please move the threads from post 4 over to here and rename this forum as M12/A127f so that the Exynos 850 devices are in one place?
Lol no. They both are two different devices tho on paper they look identical

Both SM-A127 and a13 are Exynos 850
SM-A125 is mtk so the first 2 are more closely related.
The main difference is that m12 has 90hz screen refresh rate and a12s has 60hz

They have other differences too
Like battery on m12 is 6k mah where as in a12 it's 5k mah. A12 has MediaTek Helio P35 where as m12 has 850. They have different os updates. They've difference in weight and thickness etc etc. Most importantly, they're asking for merging it with a12 and not a13.

Still I don't think there is a good reason to merge.....
I have had a Samsung J7 for awhile now, and recently got interested in rooting the device. However, I cannot find any info for how to unlock the bootloader of this specific model. I have the newer version of the J7, and it is running pie, rather than oreo as I see in most of these threads here. I have come across a few threads discussing it(
