Thanx for the info

It's not recommend to get it from outside. Because most probably, it will be a fake. Better to spend a few more and get quality components. As fake ones won't be good and may even cause more damage to device.

I don't quite get you, are you really asking me how much it would cost? Or just trying to mock me or something (cause seriously this forum is filled with rude people.
I you really asking how much it would cost, that my friend i don't know. You may wanna ask the customer service.
If you're mocking me, i only gave advice. Take or leave it's upto one's own.
If would definitely opt for genuine parts if available at somewhat reasonable price.

the phone is old and not worth much., an original xiaomi part (if they can be sourced at all) will possible cost more than the phone itself!

G-Tablets on sale today at Woot for $249.99

Just thought I'd give fellow xda members that may be looking for a g-tablet the head's up on today's sellout.woot deal. They have a brand spankin' new G-Tablet for $249.99 + $5 shipping. Not bad at all!!

Nice I bought mine yesterday at office depot
Droid X rocking AOSP/Liberty GB v0.8
Man, it just keeps dropping.....
If it dips below $200, I might have to consider a 2nd one for my kids to use.
Thats exactly how I feel. If it drops below 200$ my wife is getting an early birthday present. She will have a shiny new toy and my tab will no longer be sullied with bookmarks to makeup tutorials and daily horoscope apps
If that happens I will probably buy a couple and mount them to the back of my car seats for the kids.
Same here. Been waiting for it to drop to under $200 and buying one for the wife and kids to share so they leave mine alone.
Has the price been dropping recently? If so I'll wait as well for the price to go down some more & then I'll take the plunge

You only get charged taxes in certian states that woot distrubtes from or has a place of business from. That is how all internet sales work, unless you are in Illinois which you are screwed no matter where you buy from.
I'm considering buying this... I currently have a galaxy tab cdma but there aren't enough rom options for me to get my mod on.
The main thing I'm concerned with is the viewing angle.... I've seen a few comments and read a review mentioning its pretty bad. Is it really that bad? Any solutions for it?

If you have a netbook, the angles are most likely the same and you could use that as a baseline. There's one angle that's very bad and that's the one that shows up when you are looking at it from an angle, when it's flat on a table (unfortunately). You can sometimes get around this issue by actually flipping the device upside down, but not all apps will support that - ie. Angry Birds is one that I know is hard coded and is not g-sensor aware.
Hmmm so you're saying if I'm sitting at the table looking down at it (say 60 degree angle) I'm going to have difficulty reading it? Are there any low cost stands for it that you know of?

Waterproof skin + Wireless Charging = Win

This is a waterproof skin thing which wraps around your phone making it impervious to liquids.
Think of it as the good ol' condom trick which protect your gadgets from grit and water.
Now, since it is airtight, the usb charging port is blocked. Fret not! We have wireless charging capability on our phones.
I'll be getting some of these soon and report back.

Life proof cases? First and foremost, this phone costs roughly $700. The life proof cases cost a fraction and you trust them? So yeah... a moot point.
This isn't meant to be a party trick, its a pre-emptive protection. You're not supposed to dip it in water just for laughs. Even liquipel tells you not to use it as a bar trick.
Yeah, this solution does not apply to everyone. I myself found that I hardly need to use any of the ports. I'm still using a dedicated mp3 player so there's that.

Nice. If you have dual band wifi at home, the 5ghz would work wonders for your wireless file transfers.
Obviously life proof case gonna be much better than your so called "condom".
If it is mere a preemptive protection but not really "waterproof", I suggest you buy a condom directly. It is a joke to pay $5 for a leak "condom". I can give you half dozen.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Some people just aren't that progressive. The condom was an analogy. Look it up in the dictionary. A-N-A-L-O-G-Y.
This is an alternative. You can waterproof your cases with minimal bulk.
I think this case is meant to be a one time thing like a condom not being an actual condom.
For its price is not bad to pick up a few for the summer just in case you have plans to maybe get drunk at a pool party where it would come in handy.
The only thing about one time use is that like a condom, you're going to forget it when you need it.
Not bashing. I actually may pick up one. Never been the person who "needs" a life proof case but if i can get a really slim one I may start rolling around in puddles just because i can.

Is this Phone wroth it?

I am from India ,Today i say the OnePlus One on amazon for a shocking price and wanted to buy it ,But when i came here Many people reported so many problems and I was afraid that something would have happened..
Actually I am a die hard music fan and listen to so many songs everyday ,i have read the headphone jack is not good and it might not work long ,Is it true or they are just false claims..
And actually i wanted to buy a laptop ,But when i say this device i was so much impressed ,But when i went to reviews i saw many cons and things ,So i got worried and finally landed here
So guys what you say is it wroth more than a lap for me?
And i have a Moto g 2014 now ,But the battery sucks and there is no development ..
Whats your reason to buy this phone?
(Sorry if i am in wrong section)
The phone is great. Like any electronic device sold around the world there are a few defective units, but the vast majority of these phones are perfectly fine. The problem is that if you do get a defective unit, the OnePlus customer service and RMA system is very bad (terrible). But, buying through Amazon should give you good customer protection so I think you should go for it.
Transmitted via Bacon
The phone is totally worth.
I came from Nexus 5 and i have to say its on par or even better than N5. Moto G is not even in its league. Battery life is also good on OPO. It can easily last u a day with moderate usage. And as far as the defect is concerned there are very few defective ones, mine is perfectly fine and even if u receive a defective model u can return it back to Amazon they will refund u the whole amount.
I would say buy the OPO provided u have the invite with u, otherwise its a hard phone to get as invites are scares.
I truly love this phone. You simply can't beat this type of bang for your buck. I will say it is a bit if a gamble. If something turns out to be wrong with the phone, I hear the RMA process is horrible. However I believe that most of the new phones don't have that many problems. Luckily I have no problems at all with mine, the screen didn't even need uv for yellow tint.
Coming from a nexus 4, I love it. Screen is awesome, it's very snappy, and I get GREAT battery life compared to it. I can get almost 7 hrs sot. Also has 64gigs!

Don't listen to what others say about a product. Be the one to conclude your own opinions about the product. The headphone jack, there is no problems with it other than OnePlus using the reference design from Qualcomm for the headphone jack but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Only problem would be that some headsets may not play nice with the phone but this is problems for all phones.
If you want a phone that is relatively cheap compared to the phone's competitors, development community for custom ROMs/Kernels then get the phone.
This phone has superb battery life, specifications at a very nice price.
Damm i got an invite , But i am like 4k short to OPO ,God i wanna buy this phone :crying::crying:
I got 43 hours left ****

Best Phone I have Ever Had But Last Purchase For OnePlus

As the title states this is one of the best phones i have ever used from the touch interface to the look and feel of the phone.
However looking at the oneplus 6t i will not be upgrading due to the loss of the 3.5 mm jack. I wonder how many of you feel the same?

for me i dont care i dont use it
but i wont upgrade
i dont see any improvment
an it has become ticker the new op6T
The Oneplus 6 was expensive but I somehow splurged since I wanted the headphone jack and an OLED screen on an SD845 phone ( I'd get a cheaper Xiaomi Mi 8 if I didn't need the jack ) .
But even though I plan to use the 6 for a long time simply because it's still around the top in performance, I won't buy another device from them. If I want a "jackless" phone, I can get a Mi 8 ( or the next Mi device ) for less money without sacrificing anything.
Oneplus went from a "flagship killer company" to a "what a flagship company should be".
Just because other companies charge hysterical amounts for, HONESTLY, toys which just have basic phone functions for the fun of it doesn't mean you should slowly creep the prices up higher even though the competition is keeping their prices reasonable ( a 100$ and in the future even bigger difference isn't a thing to scuff at ).
If the Mi 8 had a 3.5mm jack, it would be really hard to pick the Oneplus 6 without sentimental decisions especially when you'd take a look at the prices of both. Sure, the Oneplus 6 "has" water/splash resistance but you're doing it wrong if you expose a piece of tech to the risk of water damage in the first place.
In conclusion:
As much as I love the Oneplus 6, I don't think I'll buy another Oneplus phone. I don't judge anyone who will, it's just not my cup of tea.
If I hadn't already bought my OnePlus 6, I would seriously consider the 6T. Yes, I like having a real 3.5mm plug, but I like wireless charging even more.

Same for me. I totally love the OP6, but with the loss of the headphone jack, I don't plan on getting another OnePlus phone
I have a ton of reference headphones that I use and I like to charge and listen, plus who wants to carry a boat load of dongles around. Might as well buy a iPhone. So I guess I'll be giving this a miss until they come to their senses.
I'm in the same boat as the thread OP. This is a fantastic phone, with few shortcomings. The 6T would be nice if it had headphones and wireless charging. Even one of them would be nice. But it won't and it will be more expensive, and therefore not worth it to me.
I use wireless headphones so no 3.5mm jack does not bother me and not really bothered about wireless charging, but is this seriously the only major things wrong with the device.
Please world...stop the "headphone" jack posts...

Eventaully all new phones will not have a head phone jack.
I guess the choice with the 6T is vs 6, is bigger batter 3700mah. I hardly ever use the headphone jack so the bigger battery is probably better imo.

The bigger battery compensates for a slightly bigger screen and in In-display fingerprint scanner, because the animation for unlocking the screen will surely eat some battery.
As for me, I really don't like and trust the new fingerprint scanner. I'm pretty sure the whole unlocking experience will be slower. So, the OP 6 is the perfect phone for me for the next few years. At least until in-display fps gains my trust.
I don't mind the lack of 3.5mm jack, I barely use it. An adapter is fine to me.
I honestly don't know why they made a 6t. There's nothing significant enough for people to upgrade. Even if they would have kept the 3.5, there's still nothing worth upgrading for. Bigger battery is the only draw but the current 3300 last quite some time.
They didn't build the 6T for 6 owners. In the end, there is no upgrade - same CPU, same RAM, and the same screen.
I do not understand this rush to switch smartphones. Now that the appliance is stable. The T version is released at the end of the year, soon will come devices with the sd855 chipset, frankly, does not pay.

Since this is a very specific section, it shouldn't be hard to figure out that the device is the item in question when nothing else is mentioned.
Whether or not to buy the ROG Phone 5 is a hard decision, but getting the fan for a realistic price can be done on the Asus official site. eBay is hit or miss, as a lot of the sellers are exporting the Korean version and charging considerable shipping on what already has a markup. The only reason to ever go with one of those third party sellers would be long-term unavailability.

DO NOT BUY. Previous update messed up my wifi n hotspot. I had to travel almost 50kms to get the motherboard replaced. This new update messed up my Air Triggers, they've started flickering. MYASUS support suggested me to upgrade to newest version Android12 and it's still flickering. Save yourself the trouble my friend and invest the same amount on a decent graphics card if you have a PC or rather upgrade ur PC. Ofcourse it's my personal suggestion.

The previous update didn't mess up your WiFi. It's a production fault that has impacted about 20% of users from certain regions requiring a motherboard replacement.
An 21 Ultra has similar specs, but without all the flashy lights and fancy software. It beats spending $1200 on a graphics card to realize that your PC doesn't fit in your pocket and the CPU needed an upgrade, too.

Not a fan of information I take it.
If you do alot of mobile gaming, I'd recommend it. I do a ton of gaming, streaming, and emulation on my phone since I vary rarely have the time to sit down at my PC. I've got the 5s version in the US bought from Asus.
Compared to my S21 Ultra, the software isn't has tight, fingerprint reader is a bit touchy, and the cameras are just OK, but the battery life is better, performance is noticeably quicker in general, and I don't think I can go back to a device that doesn't have the side triggers as it just makes gaming that much better.
Better go with Nubia Redmagic 5g...

Quite the opposite. Look, I get you're mad about what happened to your device. I didn't do that to you and taking it out on me isn't going to fix it. Also quite the opposite, it just means there is one less person who feels bad about it and wants to help.
