Yes you should. Logins or google now card settings won't be cleared.

yes clear the cache.... its better if you restart your android at least weekly once...
Disadvantages would be more along the lines of when you open the Facebook app, for example, your friends profile pictures next to their status updates would show the default no picture icon for a quick second before the images load and are cached again. Yes you should clear it.
Almost 4GB...yikes.
Yep, clear of restart...

[Q] [REQ] Random Freezes and System Lockups

IDK Which is causing this and am trying to figure out how I can find the culprit, but my Edge has suddenly begun locking up and completely freezing where if left alone like that it hot reboots, it had to of been a recent app I installed in the past 12 hours cause wasn't it doing it last night.
How can I figure this out to see what the last processed app was before the lock up and battery pull.
Seriously I've pulled my battery at least 6 times today and it's driving me insane. Went and uninstalled a few recently installed app's but still am suffering.
Bout ready to break something if something doesn't change. LoL! I can't even be up from a fresh reboot for a couple minutes without it locking up.
Wished I knew about this awful lag beforehand, would've waited for the Note Edge 2. I don't get how a Note 3 can out perform a Note 4 Edge.
Not really an edge problem. Specific to your piece.
If you've already uninstalled the recently installed apps, then next step would be clearing cache from recovery.
If that doesn't work, then looks like it will have to be a factory reset. Do backup first.
If rooted with a custom recovery, wipe cache and dalvik and see.

I may just do a cache cleaning then a dirty flash, see if that gets rid of the problem or if it still presists to remain present.
Oddly enough if started acting up when I uninstalled SetCPU, now I'm looking for a more up-to-date CPU Tweaker/Tuner.
May also delete the Android folder on my external sd card, since I've been cleaning up and cutting back on a lot of app's, uninstalling a few everyday, installed a bunch from a backup, then been weeding them out.
Recovery > Wiping Dalvik Cache, System and Cache then dirty flashing the rom all over again seemed to work and allow me to keep all my app's and stuff.
It turns out I think it was the Xposed Module Power Nap. Uninstalled it and no more lockups.

Samsung Tab 4 7.0 sm-t230nu lockscreen doesn't show anymore

Recently I've been having problems with my Samsung tab 4 7.0 it crashes some of the times due to lack of ram and lack of processing speed. (I have 300 apps so yeah) Anyways just yesterday when I booted back from a crash so after I did that it booted with no lock screen and I restarted the tablet several times, clear data of TouchWiz, clear dalvic cache, cache through recovery and nothing work. Then I change it to to pin lock and it showed but I don't want with pin ? I want regular lock screen. Well then I did some prior research about that problem I did found some video that said I had to clear credentials on Setting>General>Security but it resulted that wasn't that because it doesn't let me select it. The reason why is because I never had it. I try everything and driving me crazy ? . Can you guys please help me because I have no idea if it's the apps or something. ?

BugFacing some problems with the OnePlus 6

I purchased this phone two days back, and over the course of these two days I've found out that a lot of apps just stop working and are force closed as soon as I start them. Amazon, Galaxy of Heroes, Instagram being a few of the apps that get shut down as soon as I start them.
I tried reinstalling the apps, and it works fine once after reinstalling and then the same thing starts happening again where the app gets force closed.
Is this a known bug?
I can only say something about Instagram since it's the only app from theese I use: works 100% here. I'm on stock rom now, no root, no issues.
Are you rooted? Are u using any theme on the apps? If so, it's probably theme related (substratum)
If not, try wiping dalvik cache from recovery if it doesn't work try a factory reset...

spotify lagging on op7 pro

i have wiered issue on my oneplus7pro
my Spotify is lagging alot means when i skips to another song it doesnt runs as smooth as it should be and everything lags

When i start the app the animation start lagging and when i skip or play some song there is glitch or choppiness for .1 or .2 sec then the process is done . Its very choppy and laggy
when i restart it works for few days smoothly and then again starts functioning abnormally
things i have tried:

uninstall and install spotify and deleting cache
factory reset my device
contacted developer and done whole troubleshooting step
reported the issue through feedback 3 months ago no success
Uninstalled any unwanted apps thar could cause any conflict with the application

I have exactly the same problem. I solve it with turning off battery optimization and rebooting.

What do you mean by turnnung off battery optimization
Toggle intelligent control to don't optimize for Spotify under battery optimization
If it doesn't help try wiping cache once again for the most part this should solve the issue , actually I had the same issue and random automatic reboots which solved after wiping cache partition .
OnePlus 7 pro running 10.3.3.GM21AA
