Instruction for flashing BOOTLOADER
- I strongly recommend to use new kitkat bootloader once you update to kitkat based ROM.
To update bootloader follow this.
see update below
1.Download attached NA6_BL.tar.rar and unzip it to NA6_BL.tar.md5 file on PC
2.Run ROM zip (kitkat based ROM - K series) skip everything and just select 'stock recovery' from recovery section and flash.
3.After device reboot normally, switch off device and put device in download mod
4.Open PC Odin - select bootloader tab - navigate (browse) to your unzipped file NA6_BL.tar.md5
5.Flash
6.Install Info app from playstore and check your bootloader version
7.Now you can flash CWM to remove stock recovery.

Bug & Fix Kitkat ROM
FC on applying live wallpaper on home and lockscreen on Note3 launcher. First remove S5 lockscreen effect from setting if you are using, then remove S5 lockscreen effect from aroma and then flash this
Issue with battery percent and battery Icon - This is not issue but, this ROM having different battery mod. follow this.
ON OG battery mod
- To change icon tap battery icon three times from status bar. OR Change it from DrKetan utility-ROM
- Don't select show 'battery percent' option in setting. tap battery icon 3 times on status bar, you will get option for battery percent, select from there.
On 3Minit battery mod
-There will be separate apk in application drawer.

Tip for wanam's xposed module users
If you are using any CSC features or using Penwindow or multiwindow manager then you should first implement these features and only after that should install wanam's module.
Installing wanam's module it will copy your existing features to his module resources so any thing you apply after installing wanam's module may not effective.

Tips for Multi DPI
- Read this post for some DPI fix for S View cover
- To set 320/360/400/430/480(stock) you just have to select it from while you flashing ROM. You can also change DPI without flashing ROM too. But just remember to clear data for TouchWiz from Setting - general-App manager-All-TouchWiz.
- Tab Setting view is available in Aroma but I recommend to use it on 320 DPI otherwise it may looks ugly and sometime difficult to read all options.
- Launcher rotation you can achieve with xposed. 1. Install Xposed framework 2. Install application setting xposed module 3.enable module in frmaework 4. Open App setting module and search for Launcher - select Force Auto rotation - save - reboot device.
- Gallery can be fixed with 480 DPI setting with xposed app setting module.

How to check md5 on PC
-Copy md5 for file you want to check
-Download and extract attached md5.rar
-Run program md5 on PC and select verify an md5 checksum in selection box
-Paste md5 on first tab
-Browse file in second tab for which you want to verify
If md5 matches then your downloaded file is correct.
How to check md5 on device
Install Root explorer - Navigate to file - long press and select - property. This will show many info including md5
Dr.Ketan Utilities
This application is built-in Dr.Ketan's Custom ROM. This application divided in four menu. Also note that you needs to install plug-in to work this app. On opening of app it will direct to play store to install plug in if your device lacking it.
1.Toggles - As name suggest here in this menu you will have many Toggles which you can use to activate/Deactivate services.
Single tap on icon to activate, Long click on icon to deactivate
Incoming Call Record - This will record all incoming calls. File will be saved in IntSD/Sounds/ folder. (If you dont have this folder then manually create it.)
Outgoing Call Record - This will record all Outgoing calls. File will be saved in IntSD/Sounds/ folder. (If you dont have this folder then manually create it.)
Auto GPS - Will Auto On/Off GPS with some commonly GPS using app
Auto Wifi - Auto switch off wifi if no active connection more than 10min
Auto Bluetooth - Auto switch off bluetooth if not actively paired more than 10min
Smart Network - Switch off data connection with 30sec of screen off, Auto ON with screen ON
Media scanner - To turn On/Off media scanner
Torch - Activate flash light with shaking of device with screen (home/Lock) ON Screen On + Shaking Kt to Rt - Torch ON, Screen Off - Torch Off, Torch ON + shaking device - Torch Off
LogIn security - silently capture image is multiple failed attempt to unlock device,pic stored in IntSD/DCIM/DrKetan_utilities/
Manual smart Power save - This is advanced power saving mode. you can manually activate anytime. This will restrict CPU to much lower level as well disconnect all radio,disable Active Sync, restrict BG process. If you have active connection with wifi/data when you activate this mod then it will enable data/wifi every 30min for 2min depends on wifi/data connection. e.g. If data connection was active while you activate this mode it will use data connection to check periodically. Also note that if you have activated Auto power save (read below) this mod will auto switch off auto connection and exiting manual mode, your auto mode will be activated again. Also note that when you exit manual mod all your radio and status like GPS,Wifi,Mobile data,Auto sync will be restored to previous stat when you have activated this mode.
This mod is idle when you want to save battery.
Auto Power saving mod - This is same as above said power saving mod but it will auto activate if your battery level goes below 25%. If you activate this mod while manual mod is ON, it will disable manual mode. This is idle for day to day use and will affect only battery level goes near critical.
CPU Ondemand Govern - This will use on demand govern for CPU and can be used day to day. May be you can feel slight less responsive while playing high ram using games. Truly i didn't notice much difference and can be used routinely, recommended to everyone for normal usage. Still you can deactivate any time when you needs full CPU.
If you are using CPU On demand govern and manually activate power saving mode OR If you have selected Auto power saving mode and battery level reach to 25% then CPU On demand govern will be suspended automatically and will be restored once you exit from power saving mode.

EFS Restore - To restore EFS, Needs to keep efs.img file on intSD card root directory.

IntSD fix - SOmetime you can't read/write on SD card (int/Ext) you can use this utility to fix issue

Auto Scan This will Auto scan only while your device connected to AC charge. and disable when you remove from AC wall charger.
This is helpful to reduce battery consumption
Heating issue FIX - This will disable scanning and indexing which sometimes causing too much heating with bad file. Though it's not idle so;ution. you should find culprit causing issue and should remove it. But you can use this temporarily till you find solution.

This is my successful attempt to automate the well known (inconvenient) MTP enabling process under Android Marshmallow...
Enjoy the new USB-functionality, Google had forgotten or was to lazy to make it
So I'm working on 'MTP enabler for Marshmallow' - And you can use it for free!
I found a solution to automate MTP-enabling by simulate a tap onto the system dialog window (onto the MTP/PTP option).
For this I've made a small app, that listens for broadcast intent by usb connect.
Now you can place a widget of 'MTP enabler' onto the Home Screen and tap it after you connect the USB-cable to PC. So can initiate a refresh on the PC-File-Transfer-Window without disconnect, reconnect USB-cable.
The MTP mode will be enable automatically by this actions...
And you can place a shortcut to 'MTP enabler's Action onto the Home Screen for quick Access now.
(Widget or shortcut - your decision)
The widget changes it backgroundcolor to orange, if usb-cable is connected.
A new automated action for switching USB-mode to your preset option, when usb-cable is plugged in, was realized since RC 1 update.
You can setup the app's receiving Broadcast Intent when USB connecting optional!.
When it receives the intent it launches the system Panel for USB connection type dialog and sends a (touch) input onto the coordinates of the MTP-option...
Now you can use new (security)options:
- Option for deactivate MTP/PTP, when device will be locked(screen off) adhoc or after preset delay
- Option for reactivate MTP/PTP after unlocking device
- Option for blocking MTP/PTP, when USB is connected to untrusted PC
(this (3rd)option needs SElinux permissive on some CM13/SuperSU combos!)
MTP enabler doesn't touch any system-file (no init component is touched or needed)! - But it needs a rooted device!
And Google's security intent by User-Action for USB-connection remains preserved!

If you want to test it, install it and run it only one time after installation. The app is announcing it's Broadcastreceiver and is waiting for usb-connect...
It holds now a service in background - But it will not cause any battery drain!.
In the App-window (MTP enabler setup ) you can checkmark one option 'ask me for action', if you want to be able to select the connection type manually.
If you leave the checkbox unchecked the app will (try) to do the automatically taping MTP-option.
Note: If have enabled MTP enabler, it will start automatically after every reboot!

Avoid Android File Transfer starting automatically in Mac OS X after Android device plugin to USB port!
“Android File Transfer” application starts automatically in Mac OS X when you plug your Android device to the USB port. Even if you only want to charge it.
This are the steps you have to take to avoid this (annoying) behaviour:
Open the “Activity Monitor” and kill the “Android File Transfer Agent” process.
Open “System Preferences” > “Accounts”. Go to the “Login Items” tab of your user. Remove the “Android File Transfer Agent”.
Find your “Android File Transfer.app” file (usually in /Applications):
Right click (or ctrl+click) on it and select “Show package contents”.
Go to Contents/Resources.
Rename “Android File Transfer Agent.app” to e.g. “Android File Transfer Agent_DISABLED.app“.
Go to /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Google/Android File Transfer (you can open Library folder with the “Go” menu in Finder while pressing “option” key or from the terminal running “open ~/Library”) and rename “Android File Transfer Agent.app” to e.g. “Android File Transfer Agent_DISABLED.app“.
Now “Android File Transfer” won’t auto-start when you plug your phone on the USB port, but if you open it manually everything will work just fine.

my answer is:
I'ts more simple for me, because I don't have to
- 1. Swipe down notification area
- 2. looking for right notification(if I've more than one) and clicking the right
- 3. and click the Option for mtp
- my app does it in 1 step (via widget)
- or null step - via listening for usb connect & doing the job automatically.
and further more, it's driving me crazy, when I get the message on my macbook 'Can't connect to device', when I connect usb cable - and can't do the stupid 3 and a half steps in 1 second... LOL

For some reason my Nexus 5 (android 6) defaults to MTP. This is the feature all you guys want, but I don't.
Does anyone know how I can get the developer options to persistently default to "Charge Only".
I use a Mac at work and a PC at home, and I always top up my phone. I rarely MTP.
Also it seems the Dev Options USB Connect option works independently of the Quick PullDown option for Charge / MTP on my device. If you change one or the other, the other doesn't change to reflect the new setting.

The app needs root - Is your device rooted?
If yes - try to switch SELinux to permissive, and let me know, if it works then...

This app is compiled for API 23 (android 6.0+) only, as it stated in thread title ... [MARSHMALLOW] ...

Back when I first bought my OnePlus 2 I was very excited about the possibilities with the notification slider. However due to the lack of customization options from OnePlus it made me not use it as much as I wanted to. The apps VibrateMode and Alert Slider, as well as Seraph08's unofficial CM13 build, which offers slider customization, changed my attitude towards using it. I decided I wanted to make something similar that's up to date with Marshmallow and supported for Oxygen OS (primarily), and the result is my new app Notification Slider. The app allows you to select a sound profile for each of the slider positions.

- The app works with all OnePlus devices that's featuring a notification slider.

- If the app stops working after updating CM (nightlies), try reinstalling the app.

Same error on resurrection remix, was hoping it would still work even though its not OOS
My model shows up as "ONEPLUS A3000"
works on latest OOS 3.2.2 but I don't have root privileges so I don't think it will work correctly

Yeah, in that case it unfortunately won't work. The app uses the root access to force the different Do Not Disturb modes, which isn't doable without root.

Installed and seems to work but not in a proper way:
- top position both in alarm only or total silence, do only vibrate
- middle position set as vibrate... doesn't vibrate but it rings normally
- when I back to bottom position, volumes for alarm and ring goes to max

Thanks for the feedback. I just updated to 3.2.2 from 3.1.3 and it indeed doesn't work properly anymore. My receiver no longer responds when entering the middle or bottom state, but don't worry - I'm on it

It's high time to publish my first beta release publicly of my app.
This app is currently designed for devices running Android Marshmallow and newer, backwards compatibility to Lollipop is going to be added in the next update. There is no Intro yet - work in progress.

FUNCTIONS, ABOUT APP
The point is this app is to allow user to control when the hardware functions such as WiFi, Bluetooth etc are going to be turned off/on. In the current release there are 7 avaible functions:
5 for all devices, 2 for rooted devices.
In actions that contain "on/off" you have to specific exact action by clicking on the spinner to choose whether action is going to make a function on or off. If you don't do that, the default one will be choosen.
- Turn WiFi on/off: this sets up an alarm to turn WiFi on or off
- Turn off/on Bluetooth
- Turn off/on account sync
- Change screen brightness: 3 options avaible: dark screen, bright screen and custom value with preview avaible. You can modify dark and bright values in the settings (swipe from the edge right in the main layout of the app).
- Set loud/silent/ do not disturb mode: sets a specified volume mode
Root actions:
- Turn off device
- Reboot device
You will be asked for root permission, unless you give the permission action will not be either saved and performed.
PERMISSIONS:
In the first launch you will be asked to disable battery optimisation for this app, if you don't disable it may not work properly.
In the brightness section, you will be asked for allowing app to modify system settings - it's required to change brightness by the app.
Another permission you will be asked is to allow app to modify notifications - it's required if you would like to change phone volume mode (exactly do not disturb).
To delete planned actions:
There are currently 4 methods to delete planned actions, but the only one is to cancel the action:
- In upcoming events section, click on trash and then select items to delete and then hit trash one more time to delete
- Swipe left on item to delete
- Hit on the trash button, then click delete all
Those methods DO NOT cancel pending action
To cancel pending action:
- Click on an item you want to cancel, the editor will pop up
- Hit on the trash button, then the action will be canceled and item deleted.

I had a some issues in implementing repeat feature (likey in specific day) so current alarms are fired one time only.
So, currently there is no way to repeat alarms automaticly, only by creating a new one.
Anyway, I've added this to my todo list. I hope you will be able to use this feature by the next update

Yes I was about to do, but I focused on making repeating alarms at first.
Now I'm taking up for modifying UI and adding non-root required services (e.g turning airplane mode, mobile data etc needs root access).

So I was annoyed not having an LED notification light on oneplus 6t so I tried to make one of my own.
As OP6T has amoled display whenever a desired notification comes the app brings in a black screen with notification LED looking animation.
Though this is tested on OP6T, it should be working for most Android Oreo and later phones.
To use it:

Disable Ambient Display and any battery optimisation for the app.
Give notification access permission.
Select apps you want notifications for, by choosing a color (Only apps you set a color to enables LEDs).
Note: 1. On successfully selecting a color for an app the text in which the App name is written should change to that color
2. Don't enable the LED for the "Phone App" as it will interfere when an incoming call is coming! Will fix this in next build
Thats it.
Note: To turn off the LED and to unlock phone double tap anywhere on the screen.
Also on pressing power button once the LED stops and on pressing it again it will bring you to lock screen.

If the app is not working check whether the Notification Service is running under Developer Option > Running Services, this service is required for the app to work as intended.
If it is not running after various troubleshoot measures, maybe send the logs.
