Hi!
Back when I first bought my OnePlus 2 I was very excited about the possibilities with the notification slider. However due to the lack of customization options from OnePlus it made me not use it as much as I wanted to. The apps VibrateMode and Alert Slider, as well as Seraph08's unofficial CM13 build, which offers slider customization, changed my attitude towards using it. I decided I wanted to make something similar that's up to date with Marshmallow and supported for Oxygen OS (primarily), and the result is my new app Notification Slider. The app allows you to select a sound profile for each of the slider positions.
Click here to head over to the app's Google Play Store page
Update: I removed the option to change SELinux to permissive from my app in the latest update, because that was Google's explicit reason as to why I violated their policy.

Notices in regards to support for Oxygen 3.5.X+:
Seveilith - Play Store Description said:
OnePlus ruined the slider behavior in 3.5.X by locking the volume to the minimum level of 1 in all of the profiles, except for the top position, and by (most importantly) not letting apps such as this change the notification interruption filter. In the current state it is impossible to "fix" this using a non-Xposed solution, and even with Xposed, the previous method used to fix the top position is not working either. When OnePlus releases the source code of the latest changes it *might* be easier to tell if there is a way to implement an Xposed based solution to, once again, make the app compatible with Oxygen. IMPORTANT: If you are feeling upset, or simply want to complain about these changes, complain to OnePlus instead of directing your dissatisfaction towards me. Being ignorant does not magically make the app compatible.
Since the app offers a non-Xposed way of customizing the slider behavior, the approaches are obviously more limited. Alternatively, you could just flash another ROM (e.g. CM, MIUI) which doesn't have these restrictions and where the app works perfectly in all positions...

- The app works with all OnePlus devices that's featuring a notification slider.
- CM/AOSP based ROMs requires SELinux set to permissive!
- If the app stops working after updating CM (nightlies), try reinstalling the app.
- Xposed is not required for the slider customization itself, only for miscellaneous features.
Special thanks to
@khanhbabykid - for creating VibrateMode and Alert Slider
@Seraph08 - for being awesome
Notice
If you want more advanced customization options, check out @Weathon 's alert slider app.
Requires root and the Xposed framework.

That's strange since I added all the OnePlus 3 models as compatible devices and it works for me. Could you please go into Settings --> About phone and send me your model number? Btw, thank you for notifying me so quickly

Same error on resurrection remix, was hoping it would still work even though its not OOS
My model shows up as "ONEPLUS A3000"
works on latest OOS 3.2.2 but I don't have root privileges so I don't think it will work correctly

Yeah, in that case it unfortunately won't work. The app uses the root access to force the different Do Not Disturb modes, which isn't doable without root.

Here the same.
working perfectly as intended.
I just want vibrate for middle position, and its working fine.
.
Edit : working but partially. it goes up by oos, comes down as per app
1. normal
2. priority
3. silent
then
3. silent
2. Vibrate
3. normal
.
will wait for update.
Awesome to see someone who is taking up this app back again !
Installed and seems to work but not in a proper way:
- top position both in alarm only or total silence, do only vibrate
- middle position set as vibrate... doesn't vibrate but it rings normally
- when I back to bottom position, volumes for alarm and ring goes to max
Thanks and keep going !!

^^This works great even without root. Although, it doesn't offer any customization options.

Thanks for the feedback. I just updated to 3.2.2 from 3.1.3 and it indeed doesn't work properly anymore. My receiver no longer responds when entering the middle or bottom state, but don't worry - I'm on it
Looking forward to a working version of this for OOS 3.2.2

My wife, changed her old Nokia for a Galaxy wonder and missed her "meeting" profile. So I wrote her this small app. I hope you'll find this app useful. It's been tested on my Galaxy Note 4. Any suggestions and remarks are most welcome.
Main Features:
When in silent or vibration mode, if the phone rings a single beep is played (like the "meeting" profile in the old Nokia phone)
Replace the default beep with a ringtone from the phone's ringtone list.
Control the ringtone volume.
Display different notification icons when in normal or silent modes.
Automatically set silent mode according to the calendar, with possibility to ignore all day/private/free/tentative events and selecting calendars.
Automatically set silent mode when facing up/down.
Automatically restore ringer after a timeout.
Play ringtone for selected notifications (both customizable).
Play a sound effect when the device is automatically set to silent mode (downloaded from freesfx).
Mute device a few minutes (configurable) before an event.
Flash the flash led for incoming call and notifications.
A widget to turn on/off the service and switch between normal and silent modes, including:
Simple toggle widget.
Analog clock widget that shows the next calendar events.
Timer widget that sets silent mode to a predetermined period of time.
Future features I may (or may not include):
Filter calendar events according to keyword.
Filter events according to contacts (Thanks Magissia).
Allow selecting different ringtones for notifications according to contact (thanks Variable.Unknown)
Profile buttons on the notification for easy profile change (not sure if this could be done for android < 3).
Known Issues:
None at the moment...

Going to have to try this out. Found a few other apps on the market that kinda do this put pack in to many other features I don't want or need.
Hey zevele, thanks for making this app. I installed it yesterday before my shift at work - it read from my work-specific calendar and set vibrate mode on/off and the start/end of my shift, worked like a charm! I couldn't ask for a simpler profile switching system.
BTW I'm using it on my HTC One with ViperOne 3.0. Thanks again!
Good idea, i miss this from my Nokia too, i had a software that was used to put the phone in silent when given keyword was found on the calendar, meaning it would never ring when in a meeting if you're not in a said contacts group.
Thanks for your work, will definitively look how your app goes.

Thanks Magissia,
"white listing" contacts is a nice idea - I might put it in...
I also got a few crash reports which I fixed and now I want to check it a little bit - I'll probably release the new version next week.
Z.
Version 0.54
New version - mainly bug fixes,
Improved ClockWidget graphics a little bit.
Increased ClockWidget base resolution, so it should rescale better now (for launchers that allow resizing the widget).
Added build date to the about information and crash report.

Fixed issue where sometimes device went back to sleep before changing ringer mode.
Fixed few crashes when playing ringtone.
Thanks,
Z.
Just a heads up: this app and thread have just been posted on Lifehacker
http://lifehacker.com/ringer-customizes-your-phones-ring-settings-links-to-1490318917
Congrats... I have a feeling you may have more users soon...
Smart Ringers?
Nice application! Not really something I personally would get use from, but I can see the usefulness.
Here's an idea I've had, and I'd love to make it into an application, but I've never started learning code and I lack the patience. The idea is individual Notification ringtones, so you can set it so different contacts trigger a different ringtone.
Android can already do it with calls, but not with notifications. It seems simple enough to me, detect the contact whom the message came from and play the appropriate sound to go with it, if one has been set.
I'm not sure if that's what you meant by "Filter calls according to contact." If what I described is what you meant, awesome idea! If that's not what you meant by it, include it if you want and I'll be happy to feel like I contributed. I think it would be a great addition to a great application.

Thanks, the idea behind white listing contacts is to filter the calendar meetings also according the participants - not exactly what you suggested. I also like your idea of filtering notifications according to contacts.

Mainly bug fixes (keep sending those crash reports...)
changelog:
In the widget configuration dialog, the timer-picker is now enabled only when "Timed silent widget" is selected.
Changed timestamp in the message log to present real date/time string.
Fixed wrong gravity sensor polling timeout - causing ringer to never change ringer mode when facing up/down.
Fixed crash when ringtone was not found - it will now use a default one in this case, and present an error message.
Fixed crash when restoring alarm and no next event is found.
Thanks,
Z.
Notification icon
Is there any way to get rid of the active notification icon in the status bar? That real estate is precious and I would rather not have the icon there?
Solved: I went into Settings/Applications/Ringer and toggled off the Notifications.
I use ringer mostly for the Auto-Ringer option.
Any chance that you could add a android wear support so the wear is put to silent when auto-ringer mutes the phone by calendar or facing down on the table?

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

New thread, new maintainer, new life in this wonderful rom, all of the above cheched, new subscribtion...I knew I did the right thing having the i9305 and not the i9300 as soon as I saw that all the great custom rons are available for both devices. Thanks for the rom :good::good::good:
Weeee, a new ROM for the S3 LTE. Rare, but very welcome
Added to the index, btw
this the greatest rom ever and i love it, but i need to ask something about the LCD density in the new update, why it doesn't affect apps screen
i mean this one, it's less intensified than in the previous version of aosb
here's how it used to look like
can you provide a solution please

What recovery version are you using? Try newest philz recovery in the i930x thread, might help if your recovery is outdated. Check zip md5 as well.

I am not sure whether it's good place to write what I want and you are proper person, however... I hope i'm lucky enough
Firstly, recent 1.3.7 is really great release with many fixes and features (i love swiping notif/recents to launch in floating window), but I noticed it might be improved further.
Let me explain: we have heads up and hover but.. Neither of them open in floating window it gives an almost endless opportunities of multitasking!
What's more, I've seen on few roms feature like 'carrier label on statusbar' (idea from ios) which looks and works quite impressive to me.
Next one is weird placement of carrier label in notification pulldown. It should be on the very bottom, but it's apparentlt not
Last but not least, qs tile for battery looks weirdly and it doesn't follow statusbar's battery icon convention.
Apart from that, rom runs unbelieveably smooth and just fine
Oh, one more! I had tried to seek somewhere in source code a commit/place where outstanding charging animation of 'text' battery may be find.. Have you got any idea for that?
#edit:
I just found that I can't find any settings for statusbar's clock, like alignment, adding date, changing font. Am I missing something?
Thank you for the update, downloading now!
Features that would be nice to have: notification transparency, quicksetting tile transparency, quick access ribbon transparency. They were there in 4.4.2 versions, i think.
@Hbohd @dark'em anyone tried art? doesn't seem to be booting on my end.

Introducing ClickLight:
ClickLight provides the fastest way to turn on your device's flashlight. There's no need to unlock the phone, open the app, or find a widget. Simply triple click the power button at any time to toggle the light on or off. Please make sure the double click actually turns the screen from off to on, then back to off (or vice versa).
It may not work reliably on all devices but we are working to include as many devices as possible. If you have an issue, please email [email protected], or use the contact menu option from the app before leaving a negative review!
Options explained
• Except while in-call: Choose this if you have problems with the light coming on during calls due to the screen turning on and off quickly.
• Keep in memory: Shows a notification to make the service less likely to randomly kill the service. You may also toggle the light from the notification!
The premium unlock allows you to access all locked options on all of your devices, forever. The camera permission is required to access your device's flashlight.<br><br>
Common problems
• You are double clicking the power button too quickly, it is not causing the screen to turn from off to on and back to off (or from on to off and back to on).
• The time interval you have selected is too short. Your device's screen cannot physically turn on and off and back off that quickly. The speed at which your screen can cycle may depend on what app is on your screen at the time!

What happens? Does the light come on when you tap the light bulb or does it not work at all?
Works on Galaxy S3
Great app, but few bugs, at least on Note 4. If I start with the screen off and then press the home button and the power button (For instance, checking notifications on lockscreen and then turning the screen off), the light turns on. The home button on the lockscreen seems to be acting like the power button (in terms of this app) in a lot of different situations, but that's the most noticeable, and bothersome. There are also times when the power button double tap is just ignored, leaving me hitting my power button like an idiot with my flash light shining all around.

Hey, sorry about that. Yes, actually, the power button can't be accessed directly, it's using an interval from screen ON/OFF events to detect the "double click". If you turn the screen on/off too quickly (no matter with what button does that for your device), the light will toggle. As for it not registering the double click, it's possible that on that device double clicking too fast, doesn't actually cycle the screen. Can you check please?
Working on Sony Xperia Z3 compact
Nexus 5 working here! It seems you may have forgotten to mention that a double click turns it back off!
Clicking the bulb works fine. The powerbutton doubleclick doesn't.
Works on Note 3

That's good. Is the screen cycling ON/OFF or OFF/ON from the double click? If it is, how quickly is it happening (how quickly can it cycle the screen)?

Is it compatible for redmi 3X??
Hello,
It's high time to publish my first beta release publicly of my app.
This app is currently designed for devices running Android Marshmallow and newer, backwards compatibility to Lollipop is going to be added in the next update. There is no Intro yet - work in progress.
REMEMBER YOU'RE USING THIS APP ON YOUR OWN RISK!
FUNCTIONS, ABOUT APP
The point is this app is to allow user to control when the hardware functions such as WiFi, Bluetooth etc are going to be turned off/on. In the current release there are 7 avaible functions:
5 for all devices, 2 for rooted devices.
In actions that contain "on/off" you have to specific exact action by clicking on the spinner to choose whether action is going to make a function on or off. If you don't do that, the default one will be choosen.
- Turn WiFi on/off: this sets up an alarm to turn WiFi on or off
- Turn off/on Bluetooth
- Turn off/on account sync
- Change screen brightness: 3 options avaible: dark screen, bright screen and custom value with preview avaible. You can modify dark and bright values in the settings (swipe from the edge right in the main layout of the app).
- Set loud/silent/ do not disturb mode: sets a specified volume mode
Root actions:
- Turn off device
- Reboot device
You will be asked for root permission, unless you give the permission action will not be either saved and performed.
PERMISSIONS:
In the first launch you will be asked to disable battery optimisation for this app, if you don't disable it may not work properly.
In the brightness section, you will be asked for allowing app to modify system settings - it's required to change brightness by the app.
Another permission you will be asked is to allow app to modify notifications - it's required if you would like to change phone volume mode (exactly do not disturb).
To delete planned actions:
There are currently 4 methods to delete planned actions, but the only one is to cancel the action:
- In upcoming events section, click on trash and then select items to delete and then hit trash one more time to delete
- Swipe left on item to delete
- Hit on the trash button, then click delete all
Those methods DO NOT cancel pending action
To cancel pending action:
- Click on an item you want to cancel, the editor will pop up
- Hit on the trash button, then the action will be canceled and item deleted.
Changelog:
Version 1.1:
- Optimised navigation drawer
- Fixed bluetooth service that did not update alarm

If I put a future date in a profile, will it be repeated daily until that date? If not, how can I create a profile and repeat it daily? Thank you

I had a some issues in implementing repeat feature (likey in specific day) so current alarms are fired one time only.
So, currently there is no way to repeat alarms automaticly, only by creating a new one.
Anyway, I've added this to my todo list. I hope you will be able to use this feature by the next update
Hi, thanks for your work and the new features. Can you add that days of the week you want a created profile to be activated / deactivated ?. Thank you very much.
@jordipz working on that! Should be updated soon!
Thank you very much for the update.
I can see in my service app that airplane mode on/off exist.
Can you active this option?
Yes I was about to do, but I focused on making repeating alarms at first.
Now I'm taking up for modifying UI and adding non-root required services (e.g turning airplane mode, mobile data etc needs root access).
