I've experienced this issue with my Honor 8 as well as my P10. Whenever I turn the Bluetooth on after a while, the phone freezes. So I either have to hard reboot or just wait for around 2-3 minutes to get it working again. Any suggestions?
I guess this was fixed in later updates. Try updating your device.

Hey all,
So, odd problem with me OPO 64GB, CM11 Nov 1 nightly.
When I'm out \ commuting to work every 1-2 minutes I'm getting Bluetooth pairing requests from "null" devices so my screen is constantly turning on. I had this problem a few weeks ago, upgraded to the Nov 1 nightly & the issue seemed to go away. Now it looks like it's back.
It's only when I'm out, so to me it seems like I'm picking up random Bluetooth devices & my device thinks it should pair with all of them, but it's always the same Bluetooth MAC that shows up in the request. I can't accept the pair or refuse it without the prompt appearing again within a few minutes which turns the screen on so my battery is taking a huge hit from this.
I can provide logcats \ screenshots if those will help, but I'm really looking to see if anyone else has\had this problem & if they found a way to solve it. I'm hoping to avoid a factory reset (mainly because i'm not sure that would solve the problem) but if that's what it takes, I'll definitely give that a shot.
Let me know if there's any more info I can provide that will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
I've noticed that on every lollipop build I've tried, in getting phone call hang ups. Sometimes 5 seconds into a call, sometimes 30. It doesn't happen on speaker. I make a conscious effort to keep the phone away from my face so I don't accidentally hang up by touching anything. Am I the only person this is happening to? Anyone else? Anyone find the root of the problem? I've tried wiping and clean flashing all the custom Roms and nothing has fixed this problem.
Also noticing in not able to connect to 5g Wi-Fi either.
Hey, this is Sairam from India.
I got the honor 8 on Amazon and didn't use it until a few days after purchase. initially, the wife just wouldn't connect at all. I could not even set up the device. I thought I had to go to the customer care to get it fixed. and luckily today it worked after I reset the cache partition and the phone. now I have set up my profile, updated to 7.1 and stuff but the problem still exists. time and again it disconnects and reconnects and it is just not at all stable! I had to restart a few times and it worked a few times, but it is not consistent! is there a software update for this, am I doing something wrong, should I be selecting and deselecting some options. please give your inputs. TIA

What ??? 7.1
Make sure you disbaled the WI-FI+ in wifi options.
Mentioning android 7.1, are you using a custom ROM?!
I think he was using custom ROM.
Hey guys,
yesterday I noticed that Bluetooth is switched off on my S7. I tried to switch it on again, but the slider/button in the bluetooth menu just stays gray, even though it moved to the right. It looks like the phone is not able to start blutooth for whatever reason. WiFi works without a flaw. My phone is completely stock, no root, no knox, no custom rom. I'm on stock rom G935FXXU1DQJ1
Any ideas how to fix this?
Try to perform a hard reset. Maybe there is a bug in your phone.

Well I was hoping to find a solution without having to wipe everything. Without knowing if it will fix the issue, it would take me several hours of lifetime to setup the phone from scratch.
Ok - this is very strange. I'm still using the phone currently as it is and I'm wearing my Gear S2 smartwatch to at least know what time it is, but throughout the day bluetooth actually turned a few times on, synchronized with the watch and suddenly switch off again.
I was trying to stream music to a bluetooth speaker during one of the phases in which bluetooth was working, but the music stops after several seconds and bluetooth switches off again.
What the ....?
Ok I think I fixed it. Resetting all connectivity settings did the trick for me. Although I now need to reconnect to all the devices and WiFis. Still better then doing a factory reset
Recently on my Note 10+ (SM-N975U1) running stock Pie and Dec 1 2019 update, I have been experience 2 issues.
Notifications for some apps are delayed
App updates hang on Google Play Store
For the app updates, they stall with "Download Pending" or the download stalls with <100% complete.
Resolution steps that have NOT worked
Clearing cache and data for Google Play Store
Rebooting phone
Rebooting into Safe Mode
Changing from Wifi to Cell Network Data and vice versa
Stop/starting app updates
Current Workaround
Closing/swiping the Google Play Store and opening it again. It will eventually complete downloading after multiple attempts and install/update an app - you will have to repeat this continuously for every app you want to install or update.
Is there anyway to debug this without doing a complete reset?
This is a problem I've had on many phones over the last few years. It took me a while to figure it out but it's bluetooth related. More specifically, I had the "Dynamic Lock" option enabled on my Windows 10 work laptop (which basically just locks my pc when my phone gets far enough away). I disabled this and now all my notifications come immediately and play store updates work as they should. I realize that you may not have that enabled and if that is the case then turn off your bluetooth for a while and see what happens. It worked for me and several others on the samsung community forum.

Thank you! I turned off Bluetooth but nothing happened but after I rebooted with Bluetooth off everything started to work again. Is there a permanent fix for this? I am assuming turning back on Bluetooth will cause this to happen again? The strange thing this never happened to my Note 8.

I have no idea why this happens. What I do know I have had this issue on LG phones, Pixels, and Motorola's. It isn't a Samsung thing. I think it's an Android Bluetooth issue.
This is an old thread - but in case someone else finds it, I came across someone's suspicions in another thread that their Plantronics headset was causing some kind of problem with their Bluetooth. I began unplugging my Savi headset when not in use and it seems to help... YMMV.
This has been going on since Pie; made me upgrade from my Note 8 to Note 10 and it came right back. Infuriating.
You may also want to try to rub a lucky stone and do some chanting as well, because it's about as effective as hoping for a fix after all this time.
