appologies from brudis1

Hey guys, brudis1 here. it has been brought to my attention by a good friend that I may have offended some or all of the members of this forum due to my choice of words when I asked about security in an earlier thread. I would like to appologize to anyone that I may have offended by my question... it was not my intention to offend, disrespect, and surely not to accuse anyone, I'm just a newb at all this stuff and really excited about my new evo and all the really cool things I would like to do with it...I really appreciate all the help that I've recieved thus far and only ment to ask the security question in a genaral sense... I know that there are tons of "Awesome" developers on this forum and I can only dream of learning how to do some of the things I've seen you guys do..So to all the developers that get a change to read this; I appologize with great humbleness for putting my foot in my mouth. I know all of you put in a great deal of work on helping folks out like who obviously don't a *#@%& thing about this type of community... so Flame me or whatever you guys call it (I deserve it man!) but I would still like to recieve whatever type of helpful pointers anyone would like to provide.

Just passing by.

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to say hi in this my first post.
I've an Android user since a few months ago when I got my Nook Color and installed CM7 and recently a SGS2.
I'll be posting here and there, trying to help other users as much as I can and asking questions (I promise to search and read beforehand).
Good luck to everyone and happy Halloween.
Welcome to xda! Enjoy your stay.

general new owner help

I have only been a memeber for a short time and as a new owner ive had many questions, ive searched and researched amny hours on google and here and other sites and have easily found most all the info i have needed. but if i didnt find it i would have been forced to ask someone with more knowledge about the device and os than i have. I have really dreaded doing so, really have dreaded even posting due to the attitude i see new users get for asking a question.
Now dont get me wrong i understand the frustration of inexperienced users questions over and over, i too work in an IT help department at the local college and theres days i want to crawl through the phone and strangle someone.
I guess i just dont understand the attitude some users get for merely being inexperienced. Maybe its because this is supposed to be a developer site and the noobs arent really welcome or....I dont know maybe some of the guys that have the answers who are helping shouldnt be helping because the really dnt want to, but if thats the case why even reply.
I just dont get it, and im sure that i could catch hell for saying something but whatever, i guess im just a peaceful person and dont understand some of the hostility towards the noobs questions, i ean if a perrson wants to help then help if a perrson doesnt want to help then dont why is the attitude neccassary. I by no means know what some may know but id be glad to help anyone who needs my help provided i have the time to help.
