Moto G5s Plus Boot issue - General Questions and Answers

Hello, i have a moto g5s plus and i tried to root my devices using TWRP and magisk..
but after loading TWRP recovery magisk was not loading and kept returning an error..
then in order for it to work i accidentally wiped my system files, but managed to write different OEM versions like Sanders, Potters etc.. still showed some issue like no OS found, cycle rebooting in bootloader, fastboot to bootloader as UTAG bootmode configured as fastboot,
also tried different oneslike lineage, resurection, beanstock etc..
Untill This point atleast the phone used to boot either to bootloader or TWRP recovery.
then i gave my phone to a friend that uses one plus 3, he tried to boot the phone using some of his tools and tricks and finally NOW!!! the phone does not boot at all...
whenever you connect the phone to the computer is just keeps blinking..
I have tried to get the blank flash solution but it did not work for my device..
please help!!!

[Q] Broken recovery (xt 1033)

I bricked my phone while downgrading from the Brazilian lollipop to Asian Kit Kat, I did it directly which I think was my mistake. My phone won't boot up android or even the recovery (twrp). When I do a fastboot and choose recovery it will reboot into the recovery and show the flickering screen (different from the one you get after downgrading) and shows the android symbol with a warning sign. I tried to flash a new cm12 while the recovery was working and it said it was successful, which caused the damage to the recovery. At that point my phone could no longer be detected by my windows PC (tried on a different PC with ubuntu). I took my phone to some stores thinking it can be repaired but they failed, they only managed to get the recovery to work again (cwm). I tried installing a cm12 again using otg, it seemed as if it was successful but when I restarted my phone it failed and broke the recovery again. I just left the phone till it ran out of battery since it won't turn off. I'm hoping someone out there might have a solution, I tried most of what I could find on the net but alas.
Is there no one with a solution :crying:

[Q] [HELP] Help needed with my Moto G stuck in Bootloop. USB Debugging not enabled.

Hello everyone
I own the Motorola Moto G ( 1st gen) xt1033 model. I had cm 13(latest release) flashed on it and my custom recovery is TWRP 2.8.4.0 and it was working fine until today after using it for around 2 months.
So what happened today is that while running an application, my Moto G shut down randomly( I don't know the reason for that),and it got stuck in bootloop ( Everytime I start it, the cm logo will appear and then it sometimes even shows my lock screen but instantly becomes black after that and most of the time its stuck only on the cm logo). After this I thought of restoring it back to the original firmware using this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700502
I can get into fastboot mode but can't access the ADB as USB debugging mode was not enabled ( that's the main problem )
So following the procedures of that post, everything worked well on the log of the fastboot (no errors) but after that when I reboot my phone, again the cm logo appears (Even when I flashed it to stock 5.0.2 Lollipop!) and I can even get to my old lock screen sometimes and then instantly it goes black. Even if I try flashing a custom image like stock or some other ROM , it gives no effect as again the cm logo would appear.
I think this has to do with the fact that USB debugging mode was not enabled on it.
Also, I can't enter my recovery. When I use the standard procedure to get into fastboot (power button + volume (-) ) and select recovery, the TWRP splash screen comes then the screen turns black and normal reboot takes place( stuck on the cm head). I tried flashing different recoveries using fastboot (also tried mfastboot) like CWM and even TWRP again but still that bugged TWRP recovery remains.
I can't get to recovery neither can I boot up my phone. I can flash recovery or image files(It shows no errors flashing things, but no effect takes place :/ )
Can someone please help me in finding the solution for this problem? Thanks in advance
Just clear the data, cache and dalvik cache. Phone should boot

I had the same issue after I flashed the optimized 4.4.4 ROM for my XT1032. It kept showing me the moto logo and resetting. So i tried to push the stock, used TWRP and did a wipe of the unit first. after i rebooted it worked.

Hey thanks for sharing,
Can you help me do the same? I have android sdk installed in my laptop, can i push stock/factory reset by using the USB?
I dont remeber the commands i used from command prompt to flash, install CM.
Mavis.
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/gpe-lollipop-5-1-1click-installer-t3075522
try the factory images.

XT1033 Brick, need advice

Ok, let me explain the situation, i'll try to cover up everything i've done, So, please read my whole post first.
The situation of the device is it able to go through bootloader and recovery, it load the animation and logo, but after it the screen is blank (i can see the "android is upgrading", strange it just only 2 apps then nothing)
no sign of life in the blank state, i've tried to press the power up quite times, no sound. Blank state = slightly bright black.
First, i tried to "factory" within the bootloader. it failed, result is blank screen.
Second, i tried the wipe data/factory reset in the recovery, it throws errors.
Third, i tried to flash TWRP. The procedure is finished successfully (complete), but when i tried to boot to the recovery it enter the stock recovery.
Fourth, i tried [5.0.2][Restore to Stock][XT1033] Asia Retail [Dual Sim][4.4.2/4.4.2][LockBootloader] method, i tried the manual one to make sure everything is done supposedly. The only thing that failed is when i tried the last step, mfastboot.exe oem lock. Still then I reboot the phone, blank screen.
Fifth, i tried [HOW TO] Unbrick Moto G 2013! [Falcon, Peregrine] [Lollipop guide], but i'm stuck at step 7 where my phone only detected as "Android Android USB Device"
Another info that might needed is my bootloader is unlocked.
i've also tried the latest KK rom and L rom, and tried flashing under win7 and win10. Both result in blank screen.
Any idea before i jump intio a dead emmc conclusion?
Not sure it'll help, but maybe try updating to the latest adb/fastboot. Mfastboot isn't really necessary anymore, latest fastboot should be ok for heavy loads
just boot into recovery using following cmd
fastboot boot (ur recovery name)
without brackets it will boot ur device in recovery then wipe and install the custom ROMs.

OnePlus 6 stuck at the Qualcomm CrashDump Mode

Hello,
So here is my problem.
My phone is stuck on this mode and I can't do anything. When I reboot it keeps showing the crashdump mode.
What I've done is that I unlocked the bootloader and did "fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3.0-enchilada.img", it showed the crashdump, so I tried "fastboot flash boot ..." instead.
Now it's stuck and I don't know how to solve my problem.
Please I need some help here, don't know how to get my phone working.
EDIT: I've managed to get rid out of this but my phone is in the booting screen (the red dot with the 2 whites) forever. I can access to the Fastboot, what should I do ?
Try looking for the unbrick tool/guid in the forums. That should fix it.
I managed to get my phone work again.
The problem was I flashed a non-boot image.
So in the CrashDump Mode, press (while phone not plugged) Volume Up + Power to go to Fastboot.
Boot a working TWRP, install official OTA and now everything is fine. Looks like the normal TWRP doesn't work on oxygen so I installed the blu spark one.

You just need to check latest version, before you do something to your firmware.
I have the same problem. OEM unlocking is not turned on on my device. I have used several versions of oos using MSM tool but no luck.
