Pixel motherboard repair - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

Hi, long story short, I have a 2016 Google Pixel with the audio codec issue in the motherboard and since I bought it secondhand on Gumtree with no receipt I cannot get it fixed with warranty. Does anyone know if I could do a DIY and repair the motherboard myself, and if so does anyone know where I can buy a motherboard for the pixel?
Thanks

You can probably get a replacement LCD on eBay and give it to an repair shop and they charge you for labor.

[Q] D6603 help needed

hello, i recently cracked my z3's screen digitizer, and i intend to replace the whole screen assembly, since replacing the digitizer only sounds like an extremely hard task.
i have gone through aliexpress, amazon/ebay us.uk sites, but i can't find a trustworthy OEM seller, they're all either aftermarket refurbished or completely defective fake .
so can anyone please tell me from where can i order online to get an OEM parts for my phone ? getting local repair is out of the question, they want to charge me 300$ and sony authorized re seller wants 350$....
please, any suggestion would be helpful .
I bought the screen digitizer from etrade supply. I will have someone attempt to replace 4-5 days from now. I'll let you know how it goes.
thank you !!!

I think you need to send it to Samsung for repair. That's clearly an hardware issue.

I am still underwarranty so will it be a repair or a replacement unit ?
That depends on where you bought it.
I know I can have a replacement with the shop I got it from. (Darty France btw).
But I remembee Samsung take it to repair and lend you a phone.

Is it true that the Digitizer and LCD are one piece on Refurbished Note 5?

I brought my Galaxy Note 5 to a repair shop to have the charging port replaced and the Technician told me that he couldn't do that without also replacing the glass as there was a deep scratch in the digitizer and would probably break during the disassembly.
But after I negotiated a screen replacement along with the charging port replacement I was told that the digitizer on my Note 5 couldn't be replaced without replacing the LCD as well. I asked why and was told that my phone was refurbished and refurbished note 5's don't have separate digitizers and LCDs. I argued that I got the phone new at Best Buy the day it came out and it couldn't be refurbished but he showed me a little "R" on the back of the phone under the glass to prove it. I wasn't about to spend $250 on a Note 5 that I only use for wifi since I upgraded to the Note 8.
But I do use the Note 5 all the time because I can't customize the Note 8 due to the locked bootloader and I'll buy the Digitizer and charging port and replace them myself. I just don't know if the what the Technician told me about the LCD is true.

New old stock or OEM motherboard

Hey all,
Unfortunately my S7 is a goner, stuck in a loop, screen freezes, overheating, flashing worked but still no dice, can barely get into the recovery menu.
Still like my S7 so looking for a replacement. There's lots on kijiji or craigslist but I rather have new old stock.
I have a replacement motherboard from eBay underway (SM-G930W8) but it's a refurb too. I asked a few repair shops around here but none do motherboard replacements.
Anyone know a retailer that still sells them new in box with warranty? Or does anyone know an address when can buy a new OEM motherboard?
Thanks!
