hello, i recently cracked my z3's screen digitizer, and i intend to replace the whole screen assembly, since replacing the digitizer only sounds like an extremely hard task.
i have gone through aliexpress, amazon/ebay us.uk sites, but i can't find a trustworthy OEM seller, they're all either aftermarket refurbished or completely defective fake .
so can anyone please tell me from where can i order online to get an OEM parts for my phone ? getting local repair is out of the question, they want to charge me 300$ and sony authorized re seller wants 350$....
please, any suggestion would be helpful .
I bought the screen digitizer from etrade supply. I will have someone attempt to replace 4-5 days from now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Can someone suggest where can I order this broken part?
I wish you luck. Tried to find a replacement battery cover to no avail. All I have seen online is digitizers. I emailed and phoned HTC and they do not sell any parts anymore and referred me to the "usual suspect" online sites.
so, replacement of this part would have cost me 110€ and I lost this phone.
Now I bought a new 7 Pro for a 350€
I was looking for a reputable, cheap, place to buy a replacement LCD+digitizer for my c6603 (black). I sat on it today and it totally broke. I have watched all of the repair videos -- so I am up-to-date on how to repair it. I just need to find a cheap screen replacement now so I can repair it.
Also, it was really awesome that I rooted the device and had usb mode enabled because it allowed me to use a VNC app to display the phone on my computer. That allowed me to still use the phone even with the screen broken.
FYI: I used a usb-otg and usb mouse to unlock the screen -- that was kind of a guessing game since the screen was so messed up I couldnt see anything... so I kinda had to guess where the mouse cursor was and just got lucky unlocking it so I could back it up.:laugh::good:
I dont really want to pay over $120 for the screen/digitizer, most places are $180+ but there are some that are cheaper. Just looking for some other opinions.

Hi guys
My z3 died while snorkeling in the sea. Now it turns on when power is connected but keeps power cycling showing only the sony and xperia logos. One time it was showing the battery charging icon and vibrating.
I took it to the shop under warranty and they quoted $500 for a replacement motherboard, stating that they tried it in another phone and it was completely dead.
I couldn't find any prices online and I'm wondering what's the best option.

That sucks. You can try aliexpress for motherboards but I am not sure if you'll be able to find one as Z3 is fairly new. All i'm able to find are the screen digitizers and back panels for the Z3. You can always order one from online retailers and DIY. Just to save some bucks coz $500 is fairly expensive.

You can probably get a replacement LCD on eBay and give it to an repair shop and they charge you for labor.

Anyway, I decided to replace it myself, but I have read on some threats that there are many non-original screens, which sometimes causes issues, being sold on aliexpress. So I was wondering if you guys could share with me some links where I could get a genuine replacement or give me some insight on what I should look for when going through aliexpress. I would greatly appreciate it. By the way, could you also tell me if it is necessary to get the screen with the frame, or is it okay if I just got the screen without it? I don't get if it is easier to change the display with the frame or without it. Thanks for all the help
