Samsung billing updates but won't allow purchases?

I tried to buy a new watch face but each time i try to purchase it says Samsung billing has to update. i click to allow and something seems to install on my phone but when i try to complete the purchase i get the same message that Samsung billing has to update. Any ideas? I cleared cache on gear app and turned off the phone and restarted it. Nothing helps.
Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem. I've contacted Samsung support and they advised me to uninstall all updates for Samsung billing and since it didn't work, they just asked to: "please wait for the update the Galaxy Apps developers are preparing for Samsung billing. After the update, the issue will be fixed." So... That's good?

Same here... Tried to uninstall updates for Samsung billing, but did not work. Happened since i updated my S6 to marshmallow. Someone tried factory reset? I dont want to try it, cause last time i did that, my gear s2 watch reseted too.
Any ideas how to fix that?
I actually contacted Samsung and we cleared caches on several apps and did an uninstall and reinstall and then it worked. Try contacting Samsung as I don't remember everything we did

Problem enabling Samsung Pay with Gear S3

I've been trying to set up Samsung Pay with my Essential PH-1 and Gear S3. When I get to the point where I am prompted to open the Gear app on my phone to install the Samsung Pay Gear Plug-in, I keep getting "Installation failed. Try again later." I had no problems setting up Samsung Pay with an LG V-10 and a Blu cheapo phone.
Anyone using a Samsung Gear S3 with their Essential PH-1? Is there some incompatibility?
Thanks,
Andy
It's worked "fine" for me. I used this apk: apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-pay-for-gear/samsung-pay-for-gear-1-6-8906-release/samsung-pay-for-gear-1-6-8906-android-apk-download/
And honestly I don't know how to get back to the app without installing it again (add all your cards while it's open). It doesn't show up in the gear app or anything, but it works. It seems like it's just not supported??

Weird software error, now locked out of Watch

Recently I've been getting a notification on my watch about Samsung's Terms and Conditions being updated and that I needed to accept the new ones. The notification didn't provide anything clickable and just gave a link to account.samsung.com, which doesn't prompt me with anything. This same issue would pop up if the watch reconnected to my phone, or if I tried to use SmartThings or S Voice.
Then I saw a thread about this same issue on Samsung's help forum in which the top suggestion was a factory reset. Well, after doing that I was gifted with "Couldn't unlock, try again?" during setup. I tried unlocking with my Note 9 and with a spare OnePlus One, and neither worked.
Lastly I tried to unlock the device by using it in standalone mode, connecting to wi-fi on the watch, and signing into my Samsung Account on the watch, which greets me with: "The Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy have been updated. Use the link below to read and accept the legal information, then sign in again. http://account.samsung.com/" before kicking me back to the login screen.
Has anyone run in this before? This watch is a brick
This also only popped up recently. I've factory reset this watch and unlocked it many times before.
I have a Verizon Gear S3 Classic if it matters.
Update: I spoke with Samsung support and they declined to repair this as apparently an Amazon.com receipt is not a valid proof of purchase. I called Amazon and told them all of this and they let me return it for a full refund. That's the last Gear watch for me.
I have this issue also... Has anyone found a fix?

missing features in gear s3 frontier

hello forum,
I bought my gear s3 watch from a dealer, without a formal samsung warranty. i had no problems with it for it reduced few dollars.
but, unfortunately, although it all seem legit and the firmware is OK, and updates are going in, there are features which are unavailable.
such as, backup and restore, downloading apps directly to the watch, downloading watchfaces directly, keep getting annoying samsung account message, to verify changes in policy but can't actually verify it, going into galaxy apps in the gear, i get a message which instruct me to verify my identity in galaxy apps but when i tap "next" nothing happens...
so, is there a way to get it all right? the guy in the store told me that it is like this and allright
tks
doron
Sounds like it had activation lock on it (not sure though, doesnt sound strict for activation lock) , would contact whoever's you bought it from and ask them to contact Samsung to have it removed if it is activation lock
I'd try full reset and then reactivate it with your own Samsung account. Sounds like reactivation lock as told above
Watch is out of region

Samsung Galaxy Pay doesn't work on Gear S2 Classic connected to Galaxy S20 Plus 5G

Hello everyone,
I've been searching trying to find a fix for this, but I can't seem to find one that works for my combo. If I missed something, please point me in the right direction. I have a Galaxy S2 Classic (SM-R735T) that I obtained from a friend because they don't use it anymore, and I'm able to get everything working on it except for one thing. I can't get Samsung Pay to work on it. I've tried doing a factory reset on the watch, removing all three apps (Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Pay (Watch Plug-in)) from my phone and reinstalling them, multiple restarts, and I just can't get it to work.
Here are the versions I have listed for both Samsung Pay apps, and they seem to be fully updated.
Samsung Pay: 4.0.45
Samsung Pay (Watch Plug-In): 2.5.18.20106
Basically, I can get the phone and watch paired, and everything else seems to be working beautifully. Samsung Pay when I use it on my phone works wonderfully. But, when I try to open it on my watch, it tells me I need to log in to the app on my phone.. I click okay, and it starts to open Samsung Pay on my phone. It then pops up with the first attached screenshot, saying I need to update Samsung Pay. I click update, it downloads and tries to install the Samsung Pay update to what I believe is the watch (see the second screenshot to see the notification), but it winds up failing during the install. Has anyone been able to figure out a work around for this. The only thing I can think of is it seems this model of watch was released specifically for T-Mobile, but I'm trying to use it on Verizon. I'm not sure that would matter though as I do everything through Bluetooth and the phone.
