i am reading some thread about how to create a flashable zip from KDZ will take little time (Creating Zip + reflashing old kDZ + testing flashable-Update-Complete-zip + + Uploading not a small file btw) so be patient will be doing both T-Mobile and Metro PCS.
Sweet heck yeah! Have you made any progress on cm 12?

Hey bro,
You don't need any DLL file.
To flash it you simply have to use same LGUP version used for LG G5 and follow same steps like you flash for KDZ files.
Just tried and it works perfectly
Also, LGUP can take dz file for upgrade (data stays intact).
is it possible to insert SuperSu directly into the restore file to have a pre rooted stock rom, while we wait for TWRP??

That's what @tungkick did.
He made prerooted .tot for G5 and .dz for G Pad X 8.0
Both are T-Mobile version with unlocked bootloader with missing fastboot commands.

Actually, locked bootloader does not matter anymore.
You have to do reverse engineering with hex editor to retrieve keys in order to bypass the bootloader. This is how Samsung Tab A6 can be rooted and TWRP installed even the bootloader is tight locked (and you have to patch the kernel to change SE Linux policy).

It would be great to bring all our computers together to crack the code like mining bit coins. How neat would that be.
Are you guys optimistic for root on the V20? Or will it be a similar story to that of the Note 7 with 99.9% stable root?
Thanks for your efforts.

Boot Loop
Hey, My phone kept telling me that I had my jack connected. I wipe the system and now it's stuck in a bootloop and keeps going back to TWRP. ANY HELP PLEASE!!!!
Hi
Has anyone used this successfully on the F800K ?
Does it flash perfectly??
Could anyone post a new download link? Thanks!
Hi Community.
Is possibile to root stock firmware v30c?
Android 10 Q
Brand TIM (Italy)
I found on xda a list of patched boot.img but outdated (v20x)
My last experience on rooting/custom rom flashing was about 3 years ago with Samsung Note 3 and odin software; these "new" procedures are harder for my understanding.
Thank you for your attention

Hi clitheroe1,
Thank you very much.
I'll try it soon.
I flashed an Open EU stock rom (v30b) last summer because TIM is so much slow with updates, but I don't want to see imei/firmware error message on boot anymore.

1. Install magisk manager
2. Boot into 9008 mode
3. Backup your boot_a image using Qfil (Read data)
4. Copy it to your phone
5. Rename it to boot_a.img
6. Go in magisk manager —-> install —-> Select and patch an image —-> select the image.
7. Copy the patched boot image file to your PC (its located in downloads folder in your phone)
8. Flash it with fastboot/qfil ( fastboot flash boot_a < drag and drop over the cmd the image > // select boot_a and load image in qfil)
hi any chance of rooting or twrp for the lg velvet 910emw the one with 4g and snapdragon 845 european version?
thanks...
Redicat said:
Sorry late reply, The only way to root as far is to unlock the bootloader (European market ONLY) go to the LG developer website for LG Velvet bootloader unlock HERE OR HERE if link does not work.
As there is no TWRP for LG Velvet 4G as of now you'll need to download LGs Velvet 4G firmware for your model and region to flash boot.img/recovery.img with MAGISK. But LG firmware is in .kdb format not .zip the only method i know that works is to download kdztools AND use Python WITH zstandard package installed.
CMD to the kdztools directory and follow the guide in either GitHub/readme.txt that comes with kdztools use help commands and you'll be able to extract boot.img/recovery.img ONLY patch/flash 1/2 prefer to use boot.img if magisk shows you have ramdisk on your device patch it with magisk and flash it in fastboot follow Magisk install guide and DONE you're now rooted!
Only works for Europe cause bootloader, sad for anyone else, sorry!

As said in the title, I can't start my v50 in fastboot, the command 'adb reboot bootloader' reboots the phone but it just goes to android. i'm using the latest korean firmware. Has anyone had this issue before?
There is no way to reach fastboot mode on LG V50 Korean version. You need abl_a eng file to do that. Follow this link:
