All of the navbar overlays that I have placed on my Pixel 2 XL have came out almost micro. They are so small that you can barely see them. Why is this? Is there a fix?

tried it out today and removed it due to volume level becoming very low. probably about half the original volume level. just deleting didnt return it to original, also had to reboot.
No low volume problem on mine.

You can find it in the camera settings under Camera interface. You'll see Shutter Sound.

Which is the smaller width of the Pixel 2? The Pixel 2 have different value from Nexus 5X apparently, and i think it's better

If you mean the dimensions you can find them on Google's site, or any phone site or review. It's just under 7cm wide, so it is indeed narrower than the 5X.

Do you have a Pixel 2? Please, go to Developer Options, and check default value in "Smaller Width"

They don't work with anything other than HTC phones.

They do not work with anything but HTC phones. The Pixel 2 is a Google phone even if it is manufactured using HTC plants.
Usonic is proprietary to HTC and only works with phones that support Usonic like the U Ultra, U11, U11+, or U Life.
