Hi,
I’m hoping to get some help with reasonably priced tablets that are easy to root.
I purchased a hauwei media tab but then saw that they’re not giving out the unlock codes for the bootloader. So I’m returning that and hoping to pick something up which is a little easier to root!
Could anyone recommend tablets around £150-£200 which are pretty easily rooted?
Thank you!

Buy any nexus and download wugfresh nexus root toolkit. Super easy to do. The tablets are old but will do the job. You just plug your tablet into the USB and it guides you through everything.

I'm thinking about picking up a mini sized tablet (~8"), preferably that's rootable and will run Oreo, and was wondering what people would recommend.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Will do -- thanks and happy Thanksgiving!
Looking to get chromebook. Would you guys get 2015 Pixel LS, Pixelbook or Samsung Pro? I would want to keep around $7-800 but could go little higher. Or get something else? Any recommendations? Use will be primarily for surfing and light things like media.
Thank you!

I'm a long time beneficiary of all the work done on these forums. Many thanks to all who spend lots of work for the benefit of those of us to enjoy rooting. I've never been a technology wizard but and I've always been pretty good at following instructions. The tutorials and instructions on these forums are amazing.
I'm about to buy a Galaxy S8 with the plan to root. I am on the Verizon network and I'm clearly not going to buy a Verizon phone with a locked bootloader.
Any recommendations on where to buy a factory unlocked phone that should work well with the instructions provided on these forums for rooting? Amazon.com is my leading contender at this point to buy a US version that is unlocked.
I have tried to get answers by asking questions about locked bootloaders on Amazon but get mixed feedback. I've also tried to get build numbers for devices that are sold but haven't been successful.
Many thanks!

Hey all,
I recently got my hands on a kindle fire HD 3rd gen tablet and wanted to root it because the amazon OS is terrible. unfortunately i could not find any guides on how to root this specific tablet (i tried rooting my first kindle fire but TWRP didn't install correctly and it is now bricked.) I want to be careful rooting the tablet this time around so any suggestions on where to get started would be greatly appreciated! right now i cannot seem to get it recognized by my pc, i am not sure if it is a cable problem in not but it shows up as unknown device in my device manager tab. I am a newcomer to rooting so again any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

If you have any further questions as well as ones regarding the cable then you should post it within the second Q&A thread link for feedback and guidance from a member who has or has knowledge of your specific device.
Good Luck!
