Showing all the folders in Gear S3 Email App - Samsung Gear S3

I have recently got a Gear S3 and enjoying it thoroughly. One small glitch I am facing is the default Mail App
shows only the mails in Inbox and there is no way (at-least from what i explored) to see the mails in other folders.
Am I missing some UI control hidden somewhere or this is not supported feature.

Korean (S) foibles

Received this one this week and have rooted, flashed new rom (which was identical to stock anyway) but there are a few minor annoyances I was wondering if anyone else has any clues to remedy.
First off is the weather DB for TW weather. It is from Korea so has very limited information for other countries. Seems to be no way to add to the DB in UI.
Then there is the SMS app. Each time a new text is received it just says 'New Message' you have received a new message. No details about sender or a preview of the message at all.

Don't know the answer to your first question but the second one, probably yes.
If you mean message details showing up on edge screen? Try this:
Go to Settings > Application Settings > Message > Notification > Edge Screen. Here tick that option. Now if you get texts it will show preview of messages.
Thats great thanks, now get message preview and a popup. Strange that is disabled by default.
Ok noticed some other problems now.
One is S Planner, it likes to crash when I am trying to alter any time. Also is there any calender app that lets you duplicates events likethe web one? Pretty annoying missing functionality.
Another weird thing is the edge notification bar. It nearly always says no nitrifications even when an SMS or e-mail is in notification bar!
Weird that Korean has no S Health app as well, or voice recorder,
S health and voice recorder needs to be downloaded from the Samsung app store.
My notifications works fine and also the s planner.
Thanks for that tip. I had searched the galaxy store with no luck but it seems you have to drill down to the essentials list to find it. I downloaded S Health and it crashes before launching. There must be some disabled service (Greenify?) or configuration that is causing issues with some Samsung apps.

I have not had any such issues with S Health or S Planner apps.
A few days ago I noticed that the notifications weren't showing up but resetting the phone it returned to normal.

Read problem with long mails

Hello, first sorry for my bad english. Unfortunately, I have to write with Google translator.
I have for a few days, the Samsung S2 Gear Classic. After I set it far, I'm very happy with it. However I read an issue with my mail on the Gear S2.
Namely, the full text of a mail to me will not be displayed. After a certain number of characters of the text is easily interrupted. This is in any longer mail like this.
Connected is the Gear S2 with the LG G3. I have tried it with the Apps GMail, AquaMail, K-9 Mail and the preinstalled on the LG G3 Mail app. However, in no single app the complete text appears to me from long mails.
Is this a bug or normal?
With Android Wear it was at least the App GMail so that here the complete mail text has been displayed.
If with you the complete mail text is displayed and if so, with what Mail app?

Same for my on my gear s2 classic...very frustrating but probably not a bug. Hoping that Samsung changes this in a future update, but they may or may not...

S3 Gear email

Hi
Got a shiny new S3 gear connected to my Samsung S6 Edge. The emails are confusing me a little and I have a couple of querstions.
I have more than one account on Gmail. I believe there isnt a Gmail app but the notifications do come through. Now, here is the question. How do I read my emails from the Stock email app? I can see them, but I cant open and read the content. I can only see the header and subject. Same applies to Whatsapp. Is there an app planned?
Also, will i receive notifications from Slack?
I hope you guys can help.
thanks
If I am not mistaken, what you are seeing is the notification that you received the email. If you tap the screen, you should go to the email app on the watch and be able to read and respond to the email if necessary.
Thanks. you are correct. However, what I am after is how to read email from the stock email app without going through the notification. Any ideas?

IOS | Gear Manager | Email Notification not working

Hi, i installed the official Gear Manager SW on my 6s but except calls and SMS I do not see emails....tried many things like activate background app activity, app is running for sure, and so on., changed notification settings of emails....but til now its not possible. also the app itself does not have any parameter settings to select specific notifications......sad.
Any idea what could be wrong, if the question arises I have the watch S2 Sport with latest software not running in powersave mode.
Thanks for any help!!!! Norbert
I read that IOS not compatible with the Email. I see that in samsung official site.

not sure if there is a misunderstanding - i mean simply the notification of a new email.....and not a full app for emails. this i have read as well somewhere else that still no app for email on iOS systems.
My problem is with notifications...not a dedicated app to read emails.....
nobody else problems to get notifications of new emails on iOS? for me only SMS/Calls are notified.

If you mean the Mail App from IOS?! It won't work, because of Apple. Same like Android Wear.
All the other Mail Apps working for me.
GMX works! For Outlook and Gmail i'm using "myMail"
All the notifications are working on my Gear S2 Sport.
I mean that the official mail app on my iphone with GMAIL account and Exchange account does not notify my on my S2 Sport whenever a new email arrives....no notifications. My question if others have the same issue.....its strange as for example other 3rd party apps like ebay are able to notify.....so cannot believe mail app has problems.
It is working fine for me - iPhone 6s+ with iOS 10.2, iOS Mail App, Gear S2 Classic with latest firmware, and latest Samsung Gear app from the store. It was not working for a while, when I investigated why and I realized that when I tried Outlook mail I had disabled the notifications from the built in Mail app - enabled them for the accounts I want to see on the watch and it is working fine now.

Thx!!
I don't know why, but the Switch for notificationcenter for IOS Mail was off.
Now I get even notifications from IOS Mail App:
Working notifications (Gear S2 Sport R720XXU2EPK5 / Iphone 6S 10.2)
- SMS
- Mail
- GMX
- myMail
- Calender
- Whatsapp
- Facebook
- etc
Still hoping that we can relpy in near future

email query please.

This may have been covered before, but i can't seem to find anything on it, so please forgive my ignorance if it has.
I have a S3 Gear Frontier, i have the stock email app on my watch, and use the same stock email with 4 different accounts set up on my phone and as my email hits my phone (S6 Edge) it hits my watch (Great!)
What i want to do is check the email via watch (without taking my phone out of my pocket) read it and delete it, But, go into my phone at a later stage and either reply, or move it to a desired set up folder, or delete if not required.
Can i do this? Is there an option to be able to delete it from watch and not from phone? Or am i missing something in settings on phone / watch?
Really appreciate any info on this one, thanks in advance

I use aquamail as my main mail app and I can view all the emails, dismiss notifications and erase mails from the watch
Thanks for getting back, if you delete from aquamail does it still leave your email on the phone? Or does it delete on the phone aswell?

Mails are deleted on the phone as well, and marked as read on aquamail when I open them on the phone
I use Aquamail. On Gear we have juste notification and notification action for each mail : Read, delete... You can not check (or view) your mail from the watch, just incoming notification.
With Samsung mail app we can view all the phone mail with the watch mail app.

I check and view all my incoming mail from my watch. I can read the full email, dismiss notification or delete the message. Of course I can't access old mail, only the incoming messages

Yes just notification (like all other smartwatch) , no check mail in the mailbox like samsung mail app. And only few lines of the mail, not complete mail and often not enough to see what about mail.
