Is there a iOS rom for Huawei P9 Lite? - Huawei P9 Lite 2017 (General)

I know there is not but maybe there is a rom that i cant find. Or if its easy to make, is there anyone here to port an iOS rom for p9 lite. I know that if a rom will appear like iOS it will be so epic.

You cannot just port ios to Android. Those are two totally different systems. It's like iPhones speak a language no other phone does. Even if someone succeeded in installing ios on an Android device it'd probably be very buggy

Your statement is ambiguous ... but read below.
iOS is proprietary and no one has access to it's source code except Apple. Needless to say, even if there ever is going to be a ported version of iOS, it's going to be illegal, big time!

Guys i think my English is not enough to tell what i want... There are available roms for android that look like iOS, for example i can find this with just searcing "ios rom" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9wAxzM1l78
And i know that there are devices that can use ios rom. And i want someone who can make to do a custom rom for "ANDROID" and with ios lockscreen, keyboard, animations, icons, settings, navbars etc. Here are more examples for iOS rom for android devices:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mpiDt6cKqI

they are just a bit of that i can find, there are more of it. And i just want a rom for my Huawei p9 lite like that.
If you still say that is illegal, okay.

So is there something like that for Huawei p9 lite?

latest android-base rom that was almost 100% like iOs graphically was a MIUI but i don't know if someone ported it for P9Lite...

[Q] iOS 4 running on Andorid?

Hey guys i saw this video :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OynS0yrm3lk
and i was wondering if someone knew anything about it and how we can port it to android. I also know that this is basically impossible if you dont have the source, well after researching about this i came upon a website:
http://opensource.apple.com/
if you look at the iOS side and see there is 4.0 with some downloads (if you click on it) I am not a developer and i dont know much about porting but is this enough to be able to port iOS to android with those files?
bump?? fake or not?
completely Chinese kinda ios4
actually it's completely FAKE
ok thnkx for clarifying

Installing Windows Phone 7 on Android Phones?

Hi everyone,
I am really curious to know if it is possible to install WP7 on Android phones?
Thanks.

No..
This is the first time I will say this but, if you really like Windows Phone 7, sell your Android device and get a Widows Phone 7 device. Best choice you can make
Yes. If not.... can someone enlighten me?
It will just take a lot of work and won't be near feasible to even support. Cellphone adoption rate says its better to just go buy the phone.

It's technically possible if the phone is using a Snapdragon processor, but so far no one has figure out how to hack the Windows Phone bootloader onto those devices.
So no or at least not currently.
No, because wp7 and android uses another hardware.

You meant to attach any link?
i belive it's called launcher 7, it's ok but not great. So far the only device that has had the WP7 OS ported to it has been the HD2 because 1.) it had a partial internal build from HTC, and 2.) the HD2 has probably the largest community support of any device aside from the iPhone.
Thanks for your quick response.
I do think the OP asked about OS not theme
So from what I understand my Galaxy ain't gonna eat WP7 and that's something that's neva gonna happen.

It does look like it, but probably isn't.
What sony says it's that it will use an "OS specifically designed for PS Vita".
Which essentially might mean that uses Android specifically designed for PS Vita.
in.playstation.com/psvita/support/general/detail/linked391551/item391532/Applications-and-Operating-System-(OS)/
I highly doubt if it's based on android.
Well I hope the linux kernal is somewhere under that UI.
If not, once it's brought to the open world, someone could port it. Not saying I would want android on it though.

DUAL Boot Android and ios5

Hi Friends,
Have anybody tried to dual boot android with ios5. It will be great if someone can do this.
While searching came across this
http://code.google.com/p/bootdroid
http://bootdroid.blogspot.in/
Any solutions?
I don't think that's possible.

You can't run iOS as a rom because its closed source. It would be impossible to port because all the libs are different even though its based off linux
IOS is based off of Mac OSX which is based off of *Unix*
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Brick using XDA
so the info on the links is just bull**** ?
BUT: it is possible to have your android phone "transformed" to look like ios with miui rom and iphone theme.
that still doesnt give access to the appstore but its as near as we can get to ios looks
Got none of the required devices I would have tried otherwise :/
i have a desire hd but i dont really think this is legit.. probably just some guy hunting payperclicks
This will never be possible. IPhone and android phones havedifferent processor architecture.

It IS possible to dual boot an iPhone with Android and iOS, the project is called iDroid (idroidproject[.]org) but some of the iPhone jail breakers (like @chronic) are creating a linux-based OS (called Magenta) that replicates iPhone OS 1.0, my source says that it currently runs on ARM7 hardware
Magenta is an implementation of Darwin/BSD on top of the Linux kernel. It is made up of a number of kernel and userland components that work together. It is fully binary compatible with iPhone OS 5.0 (as in, it uses the same binary format).

The final goal is probably recreating the iPhone OS 1.0 stack. I think this is a pretty feasible goal, considering the fact that there are so many open source libs that can be used to replace the proprietary libs used by Apple. Just as an example:
* CoreGraphics -> Cairo
-> FreeType
-> libpng/jpg
* Celestial -> Various open source media decoding libs.
* UIKit -> Chamelleon

I think so, they say the aim is to run iOS
The project does not wish to build a platform that can run Appleā€™s App Store apps; it appears to just aim at running iOS.
Click to collapse
As you can see it isn't for running App Store apps, but if it has root access like a rooted android, then you can just put any app on the device..
Like a Cydia app (for the ones who don't know: Cydia is an App Store that you get when you jailbreak your iPhone)
Dual boot iOS and Android. Hm... why not to try Linux instead? iOS is not flexible as Android and what's the point of it? Also we can start porting Windows 8 and other stuff.

iOS 5 is designed to run only on apple's specified hardware design. It is next to impossible to have apple software running on android hardware, but there have been reports of android running on apple hardware. This all involves a lot of lib tweaking, proper execution of binaries, andjust plain coding genius.

Look at post #9 It IS possible if someone tries to get it on an android with a bit porting of the Magenta-project. And yes it is possible to run android on iPhone (post #9 as well) it is called iDroid (as mentioned in post #9)
here is the source code from cronic, who is an apple dev, who is working on porting it for us, http://crna.cc/ , if any dev is wishing to finish it off with his android intel
why doenst just buy an iPhone ?

For those asking "why?", I found this thread because I would like an Android tablet, but I'm worried I'll want the latest app or game and it will be only on iOS for too long before going to Android. I'd like the best of both worlds, someday (perhaps when iDroid is out of alpha).

If you want the best of both worlds, let me give you some suggestions:
Buy a jailbreak-able iPhone (4S or 4 recommended) jailbreak it on iOS 5.1.1 (if that's the current OS) and then with Cydia you can customize your iPhone as much as you want.
Buy both of them (which I have done) and enjoy
But do not expect iDroid to be stable anytime soon, for now..
That was a bit off-topic, sorry, but I hope this helps!

Phones for alternative OS'

I'm really tired of Google, Microsoft and Apple and want to get away from them. So i'm wondering if there's any people here who've actually tested some of the phones with the new operating systems, like Ubuntu, Firefox OS, Tizen and Sailfish, and who can recommend some phones.
I've been using Flyme os on my Nexus 5 and I enjoy it very much. I agree that Stock rom is kind of boring.
I tried ubuntu on Nexus 10 about 6 months ago, but android worked better on it. Had some issues like battery draining fast, not so good performance and some application not working and lack of support application.
Thanks guys. But aren't there any phones not made by Google that have active alternative-OS modding?

I've heard of the Alcatel onetouch fire that runs firefox o.s. by default, and also Sony had offered the same o.s. for the xperia e. You can check them out if you wish.

Nope. There's so many phones out there that may or may not get one or more of these OS' that i felt it's best just to ask what people think is the best combination. I have a Galaxy Note II LTE for example, but it has seemingly no alternative OS developer interest whatsoever.

Hmm, there's many different Onetouch and Xperia models. I would like a mid-budget or better phone really. Ubuntu for example needs quite a powerful phone and it would be nice to be able to run it.

Well, i've already tried the best for years. Now i want something different, and to get away from the big guys. The process of getting the alternative OS' onto existing or planned high-budget phones is sure taking its sweet old time.
