Well first off, your phone didn't update to Google you did. And have you tried factory resetting? I was on Android P for a bit and apps kept messing up until I factory reset my pixel

How to get Google Phone back on One UI?

Hey everyone,
I foolishly deleted Google Phone from my phone on One UI and now, when I check the Play Store, it is not even listed. I also have Light Flow installed and had to revert to the legacy app for a phone on Android 6.0 or older. I believe although this is Android 9.0, it's somehow registering as something considerably older.
Any ideas on a phone APK that will install? I tried a few from APK Mirror but none of them would install. I also tried the new Pixel dialer and the same results.
In the worst case, I'll just continue to use the Samsung stock dialer, but would really prefer the Google on, especially since the icons look better using the new Pixel Launcher.
Thanks!
**Edit** I don't know how to delete this thread so instead, I'll link to the new pixel dialer that worked for me on Android Pie Beta after I deleted Google Phone and it was found to be incompatible on media fire searching for Google_Phone_8.0.148481159__Patched__%281%29.apk
I'm on ZRJ9 Pie Beta and the newest v26 from this thread is working for me just fine

Is Huawei blocking GMS?

Hi,
I have GMS installed for 5 months now. It was always working fine. Until last week. I get the feeling that I'm forced to use all Huawei apps. Nova launcher, chrome and other GMS based apps are crashing the whole time. Anybody experiencing this as well?

MTCE_MX_V3 - Android System WebView Issue

Hello everyone!
First of all I hope that I didn't get the section wrong - if yes, just let me know
So, my dad have some big issue with Android System WebView in his car. He is pretty smart with technology so he was able to install his android system in car:
MCU Version: MTCE_MX_V3.73_1
Kernel Version: 4.19.111+
Compilation: rk3368-userdebug 10 QQ2A
Main goal for my dad is to use Internet Radios (stream) from APPS. After last update of Android System WebView every Radio app stopped working, like you turn them on, there is loading and app is going down. My dad uninstalled all up-dates from Android System WebView and apps started working properly (so we know where problem is) BUUUUUT, even when he TURNED OFF AUTO UPDATE on APP settings, and also on Google Play settings, his system updated it anyway.
Now we got problem because after this update, he can NOT use Chrome app or EVEN GOOGLE PLAY so actually he can not get into google play to uninstall updates. I know he did couple of factory resets to get back to properly working system but we need help for sure.
Any suggestions? We would like to make his radio apps working on, and how to force android TO NOT update this Android System WebView.
If You need some more informations just let me know, hope we can fix it.
Thanks!

@rigattoni thanks, made new one, not sure if I can close this one.

Question Google cam force closing and rebooting

Ever since I received pixel 6A, I have been experiencing this issue which I believe is well known to prior releases in this series.
The moment I open Google cam downloaded from play store and not installed from gcam port repos, it force closes and immediately reboots my device.
Are there any workarounds other than using another app for this?
Google camera is a system app built in, why would you need to download it from the store?
Try to factory flash or just replace from Google

I didn't separately download it from the Google Play store, but it did update itself.
Also the reason I specifically mentioned it being sourced from play store is to let experts know that I am not using any gcam ports or custom modified version of Google camera app.

Interesting....cant say Ive ever seen that happen.
@nikha I too faced the same issue when I got my P6a. It was on Android 12 and I updated all the apps including camera from Playstore. Suddenly it would freeze for a second and the phone would reboot whenever I opened the camera app.
Fix - I cleared the data of the camera app and updated to Android 13 and did factory reset. The issue has not occurred again. So far, no issues.

I did all that you have done and suggested, but no change unfortunately.

If that's the case, I would return it. That sounds hardware related if it's happening with vanilla no apps installed that might interfere android.

HTC Settings (com.android.settings)

Could someone tell me how to reinstall the settings app. I am on the android version 9 stock. I don't know how it happened that from one day to the next it disappeared and I can no longer enter the phone settings. Thank you
I have the same problem on U11+, have you recently updated "Android System Webview"?
Got it!
Uninstalled Google updates (in Playstore) and now Settings app is not crashing anymore.

I have the same problem as you (as do I expect all U11 owners). Which Google updates did you uninstall?
Hello,
the application that gives the error is Google (Google LLC). It seems to be common on the U11, U11+ and U12+ units, as can be seen from the app reviews. Uninstalling the update resolves the issue.
I hope I have helped.
